Excellent video, so good to see the Bantam out and about. Amazing to think of you riding it, given our history with those bikes. Great to see Cholsey again.
@@InTheShedUK Oxfordshire roads are just about as bad Ian. I'm lucky to have a few small lanes and tracks nearby to test my bikes without getting involved with traffic. Best wishes, Dean.
Thanks for the trip! I think the mike worked pretty well. Bike seems to be going well too, so will be interesting to see how you go after a bit of a fettle.
@@cainbeeping8480 Hey Cain, thanks. I'll do a proper ride out at some stage, I think I'll bite the bullet and shell out for a new carburettor. The bike only has three gears, one down, two up. It's a 1966 but the engine is from a 1965 bike. Best wishes, Dean.
@@TweedsGarage it's annoying, but just needs the lever moving hopefully. It had a new return spring so all should be well. The carburation is more of an issue, I don't want it overheating. Best wishes, Dean.

Cheers, Peter.
@@petermckee1061 You're welcome Peter.
That farm track looks about as good as most of Norfolk's main roads!

Awesome Dean, man you're on the wrong side of the road...LOL, beautiful countryside. The D7 purrs like a kitten, well done my friend.
@@montana2strokeracer thanks Dale. Hopefully get more rides in, weather permitting. It's very cold here now.

The weeking off could actually be ditching up as 2 strokes tend to make more power the leaner they are 👍❤️
@@davidwilliamson9162 the carb body was quite worn around the slide to be fair, the air screw is almost fully in to get it anywhere near rich enough.
@ ok 👍 sounds like a new carb job,it’s a nightmare when the carbs worn out tbf
Well you can ride LOL. She sounds good. Is that one. 1 down 3 up ? And what year is she?

I wouldn't stand for that 2nd gear nonsense 😁😉
