So glad to see Pat still sounding great! I remember when this came out... It was Pat, Tommy Cowling, Pat Thrall and Tommy Aldridge and they tore it up. "Heat in the Street's" was the album man, "Putting Em" Straight" kicked ass too... It sure is great to see PTB back on the road, and sounding great as he always did!
Most underated guitarist ever! I saw him in a small local bar way back in 1982 and this is when he was starting to blow up. I always thought he would be as big as all the e other guitar hero's of the time, there were many. He always flew under the radar and I'm glad he's still around and still killing it, but also a little sad that he didn't reach the height that he really deserved.

That is Kirk McKim playing Pat Thralls parts. He was the best guitarist PT has had since Thrall. Jerry Riggs was good but I never thought he quite fit in with PT's musical style.
Noticed that Pat's live sound now sounds good all the way to the nosebleed seats while it used to only sound good to the people near the front in the early 80s.............you don't need a front row seat to hear the famous Pat Travers tone any more.......catch him live and feel it.
Pat Thrall always played the first lead and PT the second lead. The first lead was a more modern technique at the time they recorded it and PT didn't play that style. He has always had a lead guitarist play the more technical stuff.

That PRS axe tone sounds thin. Pat should've soloed w the real axe. Gibsons are so far superior to garbage PRS guitars.period.
