Only thing I wasn’t greatly fond of was he did it coming off the George of the Jungle movie. He still had that overly muscular build. My absolute favorite rom com though is The Baxter from 2005 starring Michelle Williams, Michael Showalter, Elizabeth Banks and yes even Paul Rudd. I also really enjoyed The Decoy Bride mostly for the Scottish scenery though. Actually speaking of Scotland, Not Another Happy Ending was very cute. It stars Karen Gillan.

I just finished watching How Do You Know on Netflix last night. I truly didn't know that already was Paul Rudd and Reese Witherspoon's reunion project as the lead couple.
Going back to the 50’s, and Cary Grant ( the greatest RomCom star ever) look for People Will Talk, on TCM and DVD. You can’t describe the plot without spoilers, but trust me!!
I have watched a few movies in my life WAYYY too many times over. Austinland is one of them. I just kept going back to it. I enjoy period Dramas and I love Pride and Prejudice so this strange take on a love story was straight up my alley. And a side note, Jennifer Coolidge is fantastic in it as well.
I highly recommend Lost in Austen, if you haven't seen it. It's a fun & creative take on the P&P canon, with Elliot Cowan suitably dashing & brooding as Mr Darcy.

Overnight Delivery came at the right time where I had started fawning over Paul Rudd (circa Object of my Affection) and it is something to see and worth another chance where it is funny and charming without going too sappy. but if I may add another underrated rom-com to the mix, I vote for Micki & Maude. after 37 years, it is still criminally underrated...and yet, it makes some form of sense where there are many not who'd sympathize with Dudley Moore playing a bigamist with two expecting wives.

Paperback Hero is one of my favourite movies ever. Being Aussie, it's not surprising that I saw it before X-Men came out, and was able to be excited about 'that actor' playing Wolverine.
The Paul Rudd and Reese Witherspoon movie that I think should be on the list is “How Do You Know” where their two characters meet at the lowest times in their lives, but fall in love anyway. It’s a sweet Rom-Com with a lot of heart and hope.
Many people know them but I often miss '27 dresses' and 'confessions of a shopaholic' in these lists. I love these movies because the romance is not over the top but very cute and there are many funny scenes! :)

I’ve seen a handful of these, actually just watched Yesterday for the 3rd or 4th time last week! Destination Wedding was really unique, watched it with my best friend and it took us about 30 minutes to realize that the 2 leads were the only people with dialogue in the movie!

Excellent choices! Heart and Souls doens't get NEARLY enough shout outs. It was a sweet story all around! Robert Downey Jr., Kydra Sedwick, Charles Grobin, Alfre Woodard, Tom Sizemore, and Elizabeth Shue. It was so good!

I only saw it once, in the theater actually, and I don’t remember a lot about it but I just remember not really liking it because I felt like Queen Latifah’s character deserved SO much better and didn’t like Common’s character at all! Paperback Hero is one of my favourite movies ever. Being Aussie, it's not surprising that I saw it before X-Men came out, and was able to be excited about 'that actor' playing Wolverine.
Blind Date is an adorable French rom com. Super sweet and fun.

I love "Paperback Hero", Hugh Jackman is a marvelous leading man, the only other romcom he's done is "Kate and Leopold!"
He also did Someone Like You with Ashley Judd. I love that movie and Kate & Leopold so much!!!
He played Curly in Oklahoma which is a musical romantic comedy/drama.

The Paul Rudd and Reese Witherspoon movie that I think should be on the list is “How Do You Know” where their two characters meet at the lowest times in their lives, but fall in love anyway. It’s a sweet Rom-Com with a lot of heart and hope.
Many people know them but I often miss '27 dresses' and 'confessions of a shopaholic' in these lists. I love these movies because the romance is not over the top but very cute and there are many funny scenes! :)

To me it's also Forces Of Nature with Sandra Bullock and Ben Affleck, which flies surprisingly under the radar despite its A-list cast.
Also Leap Year with Amy Adams and Mathew Goode in Ireland, which is simply heartwarming.
Leap Year is so good. Can watch it again and again.
I wouldn't consider Forces of Nature a romcom because the two main characters don't get together.
Sleeping With Other People was great and had a greattt soundtrack! Also, Priceless is a French classic. And Austenland is one of my top guilty pleasures. JJ Field is irrestible in this role.

I’ve seen a handful of these, actually just watched Yesterday for the 3rd or 4th time last week! Destination Wedding was really unique, watched it with my best friend and it took us about 30 minutes to realize that the 2 leads were the only people with dialogue in the movie!

Of your list I have only seen "Juliet Naked" and absolutely love it! It is one of my repeat RomCom watches. Another RomCom I can't get enough of is "Man Up". I don't know how well known it is. Thanks for the list. I will have to check them out.

Love this list. Watched most of these on the list. Loved Priceless. One of my favorite romcoms. Still remember the ending scene from it. Not word to word but it was nice. Had finished watching Amelie around the same time too. Same with Austenland. One of my favourited too. Just Wright and Overnight Delivery are darling pair to me. Kinda want to see the first one on the list though. Looks interesting. Hope there is a Part 2 list.

I've seen Populaire in the cinema, after my final French exam in high school. Really small screen room, and it was the two of us with my friend, almost felt like a private viewing, one of my best cinema experiences. :)

Excellent choices! Heart and Souls doens't get NEARLY enough shout outs. It was a sweet story all around! Robert Downey Jr., Kydra Sedwick, Charles Grobin, Alfre Woodard, Tom Sizemore, and Elizabeth Shue. It was so good!

I really enjoyed Two Night Stand. Almost no one has ever heard of it but I thought it was funny and surprisingly genuine for a high-concept rom-com

Wow there are so many Just Wright fans in the comments! I only saw it once, in the theater actually, and I don’t remember a lot about it but I just remember not really liking it because I felt like Queen Latifah’s character deserved SO much better and didn’t like Common’s character at all! Maybe I should check it out again since it’s been over a decade 😆
