I’m crying now, I was completely shocked at what happened to the friend. And to try and take that horn away from OP, saying her son could play it better anyways…why were they so fixated on their kid playing it, I don’t get it…
It's not the first story I heard on this channel where a Karen talk s*** about a dead person very precious to the OP, knowing the fact and being that insensitive. Until the point she talk about her friend, I thought she was just very insisting and couldn't take a "NO". Just entitled. But after that last comment, she is not just entitled : she is a psychopat (unable of any empathy and potentially of any emotion)!
I....know exactly how that feels too. Something very similar happened to me, though it wasn't quite as bad since I didn't have a Karen making the situation even worse. The summer before that school year began, my best friend (who was more like a brother to me than a friend) moved away and despite my best efforts we lost contact with each other (I haven't seen him in almost 20 years now), and that hit me really hard. But once the school year started, I met a kid in music class and we hit it off with each other right away, to the point that I started to feel that maybe I'd found someone who could help fill the void left by my best friend's absence. And then, one morning as my mom was driving me to school on her way to work, she points out something they are talking about on the radio about a student at my school who had died. I'm still haunted by my response to this day: "It's not going to be anyone I know." I was wrong. It was my new friend. The day before, he'd been with another friend of his (a 10th grader at the same school) when his friend found a stolen handgun on the ground, and in the process of trying to unload it, it discharged and shot my new friend in the head, killing him instantly. Just like that. He was perfectly fine one day, and the next, he was just....gone. I spent the entire school day crying my eyes out, and even when I finally got off the school bus to go home, I was still crying. I still remember walking in the front door to find my dad waiting for me, and when I told him what had happened, he just hugged me and held me until I had no more tears left in me.
#3 - Sadly, it sounds as if Janice suffered a concussion and got in her car and drove - completely forgetting about OP and possibly not fully aware of what she was doing. Always, always have someone with a head wound checked out. This story was just heartbreaking all around.
Yes. What I believe is that she wasn't even conscious when she ran that red. Maybe not unconscious, but most likely incapacitated mentally. No one ever knows they have a concussion, often times until it is too late.
I hate people who accuse random people of stealing or not owning things. I had the same thing with my wallet that had literally just fell out of my pocket.
@@SoraDonaldGoofy99 it was I thought about just walking away but I just pulled my Id and she luckily backed off. But she was not happy I think she may have just wanted to steal my wallet.
@@rollfaceonkeyboard Thats exactly what it was, she wanted the wallet, nothing more. It reminds me of that video of those two girls that put a 100 dollar bill on the ground near this black woman that was sitting in a chair in what looked like a cosmetics counter or something. The woman was like "I promise you baby thats my 100 dollars, it was right here by my phone, I promise you!" The girls just started laughing their ass's off because they filmed it and they knew she was lying!😂😂😂😂
@@AcousticGString So, the full story makes her look I suppose a bit better. I had taken a few steps noticed turned to pick up my wallet but she got it first. I said hey that's my wallet. She starts handing it looks at me says, no I think I'm going to turn it in and holds it closer to herself and starts walking off. So, I say it's got my ID in it. Which she asks me to prove. So I had to convince her to open the wallet and tell her where my ID was in my wallet for her to get out. Because she would not hand it to me nor check of her own accord. Before I finally got to go on with my day. It only took like 5-10 minutes but if she just opened the wallet to check the ID as soon as she thought it might not be mine. We both would have been out of there in 30 seconds. Older white women get really wild with their power trips against non-white people.
Story 3: OP should've pressed charges when he had the chance, Karen is guilty of Attempted theft, Harassment, Possible assault on a Minor, Emotional Damages, Disturbing the Peace and Dishonouring the Memory of OP's friend these are some of the People I believe deserve no forgiveness and Needs to be punished for their actions!
I agree that charges should have been pressed. But I can totally understand op not being in an emotional state to do it. Charges should have been automatic
My friend being a black man gets accused of stealing his high end expensive car all the time. Up tight white men and women call the cops on him all the time. He waits there until the cops come so these people can dig a deeper grave for themselves, since my friend is the district attorney and he indeeds own the car. Most people get warned or arrested for making a false police reports.
I think it's more dangerous for anyone to leave if they are being accused of car theft, as it leaves the assholes to make up a story and end up with the police thinking you are a dangerous criminal
Tell me about it. In some areas I get negatively stopped it my DeLorean an 1983 automatic to be exact. The majority of stops are cops who never seen one in the flesh. Also CCW permittee
Years ago the teacher of a class I took at a local college told us his story from that day. He teaches full time in phys ed dep at said college, but his specialty is yoga. So, he's driving south from San Francisco to Los Altos (which is a very pricey burg in the bay area), in his silver Porsche 911 with vanity plate, and I guess bc he's African American, some corko who is into racial profiling pulled him over. He wasn't speeding, as several other vehicles passed him on the road, so the officer in question decided he was going to get him on a DWI charge. And decided to have said instructor do one of their tests that drunks almost always fail. The test? Stand on one foot for one minute without falling over. So techaer stood straight, stuck the sole of one foot against the thigh of the other leg, held his arms out for balance, and just about a minute worth of relaxing breathing. Yoga teacher passed said test with flying colors, natch.
Burger king lady, She was so convinced she was right she probably would block the car with her body. Safer to wait for cops than risk injuring a crazy person
Was gonna say just this. She clearly had no problem grabbing OP with cops present on the scene. Who knows what she would have done to stop OP leaving before police arrived
Safer for the Karen in the short term maybe, but if you get in the car, try to leave, and she blocks you in, she could be looking at a charge of unlawful detention on top of everything else.
The third story had me tearing up. It’s so sad OP lost his friend/sister. I’m happy he continues to use her instrument in her memory. So sweet and kind. Happy he still has something to remember her by and also as a connection to her too.
I have barely touched my clarinet after my best friend of almost 15 years was put down. I have only recently bought clarinet music so I could possibly start playing it again. I miss you, Lady 😢
I know that pain all too well of getting a call that your best friend is dead. Especially when it was within the hour of you just seeing them and talking to them. Its been 10 years and it still hurts. His father's wife made it all about her at the funeral while my friends mother could hardly stand.
What would be the best outcome is having Karen and crotch goblins wait for the full 3 hours in line only to be told the goblins aren't tall enough for the ride and they have to leave.
That 3rd story is absolutely heartbreaking. OP is the best friend they ever could be by keeping their friend’s memory alive the way they are. I wish I could meet them one day so I could shake their hand
Man. That trumpet story... I was balling my eyes out, not to mention probably attracting the attention of tge neighbors yelling at my phone at the entitled b like she was right there in front of me. Not just as someone who played the trumpet in high school band, but as someone who holds contempt for such blatant disrespect for human life to have such entitlement...
@@penniwilliams7787 Same. It's why I'll never get rid of dome things I have from my grandma, and part of why I still watch Wherl of Fortune to keep her alive in my thoughts.

Story 2 : The woman wouldn't let the guy go even if he gets inside his car. You know how people like this are, they will stand infront of your car if you try to drive away and if even you touch them slightly with your car, will scream bloody murder. Sigh!
Yep, sounds like if he'd done that, his crime would escalate from TWOC (Taking WithOut Consent-British GTA) to Attempted Murder (Again, the UK does not do Vehicular Homicide, we just call deliberately running or Attempting to run someone down with intent to kill as Attempted or Full on Murder)
@@wisteria3032 Maybe, the food was in the car and if he tried to enter the car the lady probably would have tried to assault him in the name of preventing him from trying to escape with the vehicle like how she grabbed his arm after the cops arrived but worse with no cop to tell her to let go or stop.
Story 1: That was perfectly played, OP. Well done. Story 2: Obviously Karen's kid is the benchmark of what young people can accomplish, so if he can't afford a nice car, no one OP's age can either.
I wish that it were considered a valid medical procedure. Do you have any idea how many nurses and paramedics would be on cloud nine, if that were suddenly legal for that reason? They say "you can't cure stupid". But why can't we at least make it less appealing?
The trumpet story broke my heart. I feel sorry for OP because he lost his girlfriend and damn near lost her instrument as well. I fully admit that I have no musical talent, but I would treat the trumpet as though it had been my own because I know beauty when I see it. I'd say, "Lady, I plan to hang onto this trumpet. It's the last of my girlfriend that I have left and she would want me to have it. If your son wants it so badly, you can buy one just like it for him as a gift, or have him buy one himself. There's no way in hell you're getting this one."
When she tried to pull it away, I'd be yelling for help to stop the attempted robbery in progress and defend myself and the trumpet with every thing I had.
@@elenalizabeth it would depend on where and how it was dented, a dent in the bell edge will affect both the way it vibrates and the direction it projects the sounds. A brass instrument can, however be functionally repaired fairly easily, and a dent in the side of the bell or side of the pipes that doesn't reach a beveled edge or blocks less than 10% of a pipe cross section over a few mm won't really affect the sound in a noticable way.
Story 3: It seems to be very common that people like the mother will try anything to get what they want, including insulting and emotionally attacking people. That woman seems to have ZERO empathy. Also, I remember Oz Media covering this story. He had trouble reading the part where the EM was trying to take the trumpet after Janice's death. Really sells the emotional impact of the story.
That was painful & heart breaking. I had a trumpet player friend. We played gigs in high school, college, and afterward. When he retired he took up wood working, self taught, and we have some of the things he built. He's been gone for about 6 years and it's painful to lose a good friend.
I would assume that if he tried to drive away, she would've escalated either by trying to stop him, claiming he tried to hit her while driving away, damaging the car, or claim the car is stolen so he could get stopped on the road and likely be held at gunpoint by police at the traffic stop.
Ooooh man. I think the failure to press charges in these stories almost makes me more upset than the entitled behavior itself. I get court proceedings are stressful, emotional, and potentially a waste of money, but maaaan would it be worth it to teach brats like the moms in this story a lesson, or at least get them off the street. That car mother is clearly a danger to herself and others, and needs a psych eval at the very least.
I hope the spirit of OP's friend not only make the turmpet sound better; I hope it makes is 'SING' Like the both of them together are making it sound 'blessed'
Story 2: Just because somebody of one age can't afford something doesn't mean everyone of that age (and below) can't afford it. Also, driving away would've just confirmed what the woman thought in her mind, so OP was doing the right thing.
She still thought it was stolen. People that have this level of prejudice are not going to learn in this one experience. Also the police could have arrested her for assault throughout the incident without OP pressing charges. So she has gotten away with a lot.
OP was doing the wrong thing by even entertaining this crazy lady for one minute. He should have flipped her the bird, gotten in his car, and driven away, leaving her shrieking.
EXACTLY DARK FLUFF- what you said about the Karen with the car. ANOTHER person giving a KAREN more leeway. It’s just pathetic. Can anyone have any kind of backbone?? I would have left and told her to go pound sand. And the. He doesn’t press charges? IT IS PEOPLE LIKE OP who allow this KAREN BS to keep happening. SHAME ON YOU OP
On the story with the young man was accused of stealing his own car: he probably didn’t have to wait around for police, but it’s probably a good thing that he did because if he hadn’t she probably would’ve sent the cops after him and then it turns into a traffic stop where things have a chance of escalating. So it’s probably a good idea that he did wait.
Its a offense to leave if the police are called on you even if you did not commit a offense. Its considered fleeing from police. At least thats the case in Canada
@@kudukilla they're usually pretty chill. They would have just asked to see his license and registration and everything would have been fine. You're obliged to have your car title with you when driving as far as I know, so nothing really would have happened. Our police don't just start shooting at people for no reason.
In the second story OP should have pressed charges, whenever someone doesn't the Karen comes back and guarantee she'll bring friends to mug op for his car their only one town away
You can drive REALLY fast on the Autobahn. It could have been a long way away. Germany is a big place, the chances of them meeting again are next to none as long as he doesn't go back to Burger King again. Which is better for OP anyways, so it's a win-win.
Story 3: my first bit of seeing an entitled parent by a TH-cam redditor who is known for his "calm reading voice" and when he was done with a post he asked the philosophical question "do entitled parents have no shame?" And that question always goes through my head when Karen always go above and beyond to find new ways to disgust me
Story three hits hard because my best friend we met in band and she's like a sister to me. If something like that happened to her I don't think I could've played again without thinking of her. And if someone tried to take her instrument I would've fought with tears in my eyes
I get annoyed when people who do not press charges against these entitled monsters. By not pressing charges, the entitled will refuse to learn and they will continue to do it.
Honestly, I can see the issue in the second story. Having her arrested would have caused a lot of problems for the kid who was perfectly reasonable about the whole thing. It's not just the asshole you impact, it's everyone who is unfortunately forced to be attached to them. Sometimes it makes sense to do it anyway, but you have to consider the full consequences.
Story 2: From a practical standpoint, I think waiting for the cops was the best decision. The EM probably would have just taken a picture of the car’s liscense plate, given it to the cops, and they’d track down OP. Better to get it all over with sooner rather than later. Plus, just ignoring her and driving away would have just given the EM (and possibly the cops too) more reason to believe that OP did in fact steal the car, even if he didn’t. However, from that same standpoint, confronting someone who is in the middle of stealing a car is not a smart idea. If they are committing a crime, then they would more than likely not hesitate to hurt you if you confront them.
That Karen that accused the OP of stealing the car… why wasn’t she at least ticketed for filing a false report? At least her son is sane enough to be embarrassed by his mom’s antics.
Always press charges. Even if it comes to nothing, at least there will be a record on file somewhere for that Karen so the next time somebody else files charges hopefully the consequences will be more severe.
Story #2, the crazy Karen would’ve just stood in front of the car and said he tried to run her over, I would’ve asked for a meal out of her for ruining the one he had bought.
Regarding OP and his "stolen" car: Karen was already calling the police. If OP had driven away, Karen would have given the police OP's license plate, and the car would have been marked as stolen, even though it wasn't. So OP likely would have found themselves being hunted by police for being in possession of a stolen vehicle, pulled over, arrested, etc before the whole situation could be cleared up. Better to wait for the police to get there and verify that the car actually isn't stolen after all.
First year Pandora came out, the lines were longer than 3 hours. When we went early in the morning, the line was (I kid you not) 7 hours. It went from the entry to Flight to the sidewalk that leads to Asia. Utter ridiculous. (edit) Trumpet story: Wow. Just...wow.
That’s just insane - why would anyone ever queue for that long? It’s almost your whole day over and you’ve only been on one ride. I feel like everywhere should have virtual queues that you can check into when you arrive and you get a time to come back. The fast pass isn’t enough as you only get a few choices per visit
@@Outnumberedbykidsandcats yes, yes it is. I *believe* the castmember was fudging wait times in hopes of getting folks to go somewhere else in the park rather than wait in a line that long.
Always always always press charges, these Karens happen because nobody ever tells them no, makes them take responsibility and face the consequences. If they never get slapt down, they never learn.
You got to man I had to press charges on this woman who kept on harassing me because she wanted to borrow my pickup truck because she bought a queen size mattress and I don't even know her and since she saw me owning two pickup truck she thinks I'm some pick up company when I said no to her she been sending her friends and her boyfriend to get me to sell my truck to and she would harass me demanding that I would pick up her mattress when I said no she reported to my truck stolen
For story #2: I agree with Fluff that he should have just been able to drive away, but I don't blame him for sticking around to nip it in the bud. This woman was clearly not all there, and worst case scenario is she gets your license plate number and reports it to police and they have to follow-up with you. Not that this would get you in trouble, but it has the potential to make the situation more complicated and stressful.
Worst case she continually steps in front of the car, preventing him from leaving, possibly even claiming that he tried to run her over or damaging the car.
@@bobemmerson1580 That's what dash cameras are for - covering your a&$. If I was that driver, I wouldn't have stuck around. Karen would get one comment - to kindly please get the F out of my way as I have places to be. And if she continued to block me, I would have definitely pressed charges and sued her for my lost time/earnings and also, for any damage she inflicted on my car Seriously, I used to be patient and understanding but not any more. I have absolutely no patience for idiots.
Story 2: I think OP should have pressed charges out of spite. The Karen wasted his time, wasted the time of the police officer and even grabbed OP and tried to steal his keys. After grabbing me, if someone moved towards me again to grab either myself or my belongings, I'd throw a punch right to their throat and claim self defense. "They grabbed me before, and I assumed they were trying to grab me again when they made a sudden movement towards me and I reacted to defend myself." type of a situation.
Second story: sure, OP was free to leave, but Karen would have thrown herself in front of the car, to "prevent OP from stealing it". So in all actuallity, "leaving" was never an option.
With Story 2 - I think that OP staying was the safest option. This woman was so high on her high horse, believing that she was right that she called the police. If OP tried to leave, there was a huge possibility that this woman could put herself in the way of the car, claim OP tried to run her over or even follow them to their house. Staying still, in a public car car allows for OP to stay safe, with potential witnesses if the woman tried anything.
I also remembered my friend the district attorney who told me about the time his 21 year old nephew came to visit him and was driving a nice vintage Ford mustang that he and my friends older brother (his father) rebuilt together. A white woman saw his car, and hatched a plan to steal it. She called the cops and said her ford mustang was being stolen. The cop who came to check it was a new cop and was a bit racist. He refused to believe my friends nephew or let him get the insurance cards or anything else to prove it was his car. He was handcuffed and the woman drove off with his Ford mustang, but not for long. At the police station he called his uncle who came down and tore that cop a new ass and they tried to locate the car and they found it in the parking lot of a Walmart, license plate matched. When the cops approached her and told her to get the insurance card and the proof the car belonged to her since the district attorney's nephew said his Ford mustang was stolen by a white woman and the license plate matched the stolen car. She new she was screwed and broke down crying and went willingly to jail.
You know what happened to the Racists idiot officer and the Witch? (Reminds me of that story where a woman attacked the OP, claimed to the idiot officer who came to the scene that the car OP owned belonged to her and the idiot believed her and ARRESTED the OP while she drove off with the vehicle! Idiot got a nasty surprise as his boss KNEW OP and so he got the third degree when he was "so proud of himself" and when they found the car, is was all kinds of busted up! There was Karma for the woman as she got caught and had an embarrassed look in the court house as OP mentioned when she saw him! As though regretting her stupidity now that she got caught! and the idiot cop was desk-locked for good with a large amount of his pay going to paying the OP in repairs for his car and the inconvenience! Seriously, racist or not, this is a failure of a cop if he follows his own bias over the rules of his job, such as asking for proof which as you stated, would have been there since the woman was stupid enough not to toss it out, even if it wouldn't have changed anything! Seriously did she think ALL the cops were racist! She got lucky she got a racist idiot who I hope got his career dead-end! Less cops like him on the street! No matter how much the shortage of capable officers are, rather take a smaller but effective at their job number then larger but incompetent any day!)
This sounds like BS because the cop refused documentation which would have proved ownership. Also, you never explained what happened to the cop after the story broke. Keep working on it. Some of history's greatest writers needed years to hone their trade.
3rd Story: This woman is absolutely nuts. But I feel sorry for her son. From what was told, he didn´t participate in his moms crazy behaviour and had a nice chat with the girls the first time that they met. Yet, he was the one to face all the consequences for her actions. Seems kinda unfair.
I can't believe someone would be saying that about the car and say it's stolen. I can't believe that woman actually said what she said to that person about their dead friend and the instrument that's up to them if they allow someone else to play the instrumental now it was given to them to hold and to keep safe and I'm glad that they use it and have that keepsake as a powerful reminder of their friendship I would have filed charges against him immediately for not just dishonoring the band but also dishonoring the Dead she should have been thrown in jail for attempted robbery and it sucks that her son got banned from playing in the band because of the mother's stupid entitlement.
I can’t believe how dumb all these Karen’s are by just walking up to someone and accusing them of things and calling people lairs over them dumbs things.
#2 - No, staying was the right decision. The crazy lady could've said that he ran away, and then it's an issue that could be considered gran theft auto, considering it's an expensive car. #3 - I.... I have no words. It absolutely breaks my heart and honestly relatable: I lost one of my best and closest friends from a stroke the day AFTER we had hanged out and drank together. It's been 2 years and still get emotional over it. The mother harassing OP to let her son play it; I thought it was bad. But the fact that SHE KNEW SHE WAS DEAD AND STILL WENT FOR IT???? AND THEN ASSAULTED HIM??? I would've decked her on the spot and claim self-defense. Alas, I would've probably just broke down like him. I'm so glad that OP has the trumpet to this day, and keeps playing it. #4 - That is one of the most hilarious malicious compliance I've ever heard of. As soon as the captain told her to walk a few steps back I immediately knew what he was about to do, and I just lost it laughing.
I hate it when people do that whole "They're dead so they don't need it anymore." thing they do to try to get what they want. I hate to say it but I have dealt with that more then once and it wasn't the same person. Idk what makes them so entitled but it does cause the ones that loved them break.
Story 2: Wow! That Karen....even with all the evidence and conformation FROM A POLICE OFFICER still thought that OP had stolen the car. I felt sorry for her son, must be tiring dealing with a person like that.
In regards to Story 1: Effectively, the Crazy Lady has performed a citizens arrest so yes, OP does have to wait on the cops or he may face a charge of "resisting arrest". It's doubtful any court would put him on trial for ignoring a crazy witch's arrest attempt but it's better to be safe than sorry
Story 2 - Going off how insane she was acting, there was a very high chance she would've done something to stop OP from leaving, such as throwing herself in front of the car or even attacking OP, plus she might've lied to the police about what happened which could've ended badly for OP. It was in OP's best interest to wait for the cops. Story 3 -....That woman has a spot reserved for her in the deepest part of Hell. Jfc. A part of me also feels bad for her kid, because it seems like he wasn't entitled but ended up suffering for what his mother did.
Story 3- Yeah, I think that's why OP felt like they SHOULD have pressed charges on her! What a fucking monster! Reminds me of a story my great grandpa when he was alive told my grandmother about how some idiot CRASHED her mother's funeral wanting to borrow some of the flowers that were at the wake! Great Granddad had to be held back from murdering this woman on the spot as he had enough going on! One of her aunt had taken her out for abit, heard what happened and they kept it from my grandmother because she already had it hard enough losing her mother at a young age! But seriously, what the fuck is wrong with people? I have a special hatred for the "Today is the day" ones, the ones who decide NOW is the time they'll be the biggest ARSEhole of all time simply because! Hope she broke her fucking leg, or it lead to a bunch of events of the poor kid suffering from her actions that the moment they could kick her out their life, they did it post haste...while she's likely crying why her child abandoned her (Oh I don't know Karen, maybe because his entire life was filled with being punished for YOUR BAD SHITTY BEHAVIOR! Anyone would cut off a scumbag at some point! Your kid just sadly had to wait till they were an adult to do so and couldn't do it quick enough!)
Story two: I think the EM is just jealous that a younger person then her son could buy a car. "Their younger and have so much money to buy a car?! They must be a thief!"
You can leave, you don't have to stay because some unhinged whack job called the cops for some frivolous reason. The cops would just investigate the situation and determine if a crime had actually been committed, thats their job. If they need to absolutely talk to you they can review cameras etc and find you that way but you don't have to stay, its not illegal to leave.
@@jenn8179 Yeah, if you've got shit to do you don't have to stay there to appease some nosy Karen and her entitled ass that thinks she deserves answers about your personal life...wow. @@jenn8179 well you also have to remember, the police only know whats reported, so if he left, he runs the risk of being pulled over in a "stolen vehicle". then they will investigate after detaining the "thief".
Here's my 2 cents, and it's that as it's stated in the story the lady did retaliate when op went to get their paperwork and it might've ended up much worse for her/op if op tried to leave cause she'd likely slam herself against his car or even hold op there (which she ended up doing with the cop there) but it could have made the cop side with the woman if op tried to leave before they got there. Personally considering the story I would have called up the manager and told them what happened and that the woman has chased away a customer and likely will chase away more if they don't trespass her
@@technothehedgehog203 You can't determine if someone is going to throw themselves in front of your car & the police likely would have recommended leaving the situation as well, they always tell people to let them handle it. If that woman had put her hands or body anywhere near OP she would have been arrested plain and simple. You also can't hold someone hostage with your antics, he had every right to escape a volitile situation no matter what. If the police want to follow up with him as part of an investigation they can locate him by camera or receipt of purchase, he had zero obligation to stick around so the situation can escalate.
Surprised that this is the first entitled person story I have heard from Disney’s Flight of Passage line. Man people behave badly in that line! Once, my cousin and I were in line for the ride and we were well into the building at that point and has been waiting a while. Suddenly this cheer (they had the team shirts) mom and her two teenage daughters come up behind us, pushing their way through the line. The mom and one daughter make it to the line above us, almost to an employee checkpoint, but the last daughter is standing down by us sobbing because she was so embarrassed and guilty about the whole thing. The mom is brazenly hanging over the railing calling for her daughter to come join them while the daughter was begging her mom not to do it and wanted her family to come back to her instead. There was definitely urgency in mom’s voice as she begged and cajoled her daughter to join them, because she obviously didn’t want to make it to the employee before her daughter. I think people felt really bad for the girl because they were nicer about letting her through, while at the same time try to set the mom on fire with their eyes. Sadly it didn’t work.

Story 1. His best option was to stick around for the Police. If he had just driven away, she likely would have tried to get the license plate number, reported the "stolen" car and said he fled when confronted. He then very well could have been stopped by Police, and likely ordered out of the car at gun point by police on edge, not knowing what to expect. A while back, someone stole a license plate off my car. When I reported it, the officer told me that if I needed to drive to the DMV in order to get new plates, to first remove( then destroy) the other plate. He said that now that the plate had been reported as being stolen, I ran the risk of having the above happen if I left the other plate on.
Story 2: OP could have driven off at any point in this situation...though the Karen would have gotten him pulled over through her idiocy so staying was better. Chances are the police would have preformed a Felony Stop of the car which is no fun for OP...so it was a better idea to stay until everything was cleared up.
The second story at the Burger King… I’d say it’s more of a, “covering one’s own butt”, kind of situation. Aaaand a tiny bit of satisfaction to prove to this Karen that he actually DOES own the car, can legally drive it, and can afford it. To be honest, though, it sounds like she might have some issues beyond JUST being a Karen. Not defending her at ALL, her actions were VERY inexcusable, and her grabbing for OP would likely have led to her having bruises if she tried that here in the US. But in my own experience working retail and seeing this kind of behavior, there was usually something going on beyond Karen-ness.
There's 3 options when dealing with EMs 1 argue with a unmovable object "tell the cops arrive" 2 stay quite and watch the self-destruction 3 "if your the husband" get a divorce and take custody of the kids "if they ain't already corrupted"
I blame the Op in the 2nd story. Why would you even engage with this ignorant Karen? When she first approached him, he should have told her to get the F away from him and left. Never be polite to a Karen. And to answer your question Fluff, no the Op didn't need to humor the crazy 😜. He should have and could have left.
In Story 2. I'm assuming the reason he didn't drive off was the parking space was blocked in front and the Karen was standing behind, meaning he couldn't drive anywhere without hitting her.
I’M 75 Yrs.young, , Have been blessed with meeting many wonderful people all around the world and of course more than a few of the others. Your story was and is so beautiful and heartwarming that it truly brought tears to my face. You are the the true definition of a “FRIEND” whom anyone would feel proud and honored to know. Please continue to hold tight to your friends memory and the trumpet, also please, please continue sharing your story. Realizing, I am just one of the billions on our planet, like someone you could pass down street or in the grocery market no one special but your story is special. I feel it brightens the day, and brings hope to slightly sad and tired world. Thanks!!
Story 3: I’ve actually heard this on Rslash’s channel, and he was so disgusted by the entitled parent, he included his swearing that he usually censors out
Story #1 I'm guessing what the mother was really doing was trying to get the car from OP it's a common scam where I live scare the person into giving them the car keys then driving off with their brand new car
I think it's very touching that OP of story 3 honors his friend's memory by playing her trumpet as she left it. I'm so glad her foster parents allowed him to keep it in remembrance of her.
If the woman escalated to the point that she assaulted the young man in front of the police, there’s no limit to what she would have done had he tried to leave before the police arrived.
OP should have just driven away. (unless he was black or Latino- in which case the cops might have pulled him over and shot him) Karen's son could have waited and told the cops the situation, but he didn't have to. He could have just walked home, if it was a reasonable distance. Let the crazy Karen deal with the cops. Maybe get herself arrested.
You're mistaking normal people with Karens... Karen would either attack you, jump in the car and hold you hostage while claiming she's conducting a citizens arrest. Or worse follow you around till you either go to the cops or home... And if home you royally fucked up.
Last: Airplane Karen: This 747 had flown from LA towards Melbourne, Aus for 2 hours when this blonde came out of her cattle class seat and sat in a first class seat and refused to move. The Captain said I am married to a blonde. Let me try. He bent over and whispered. The AH shot up as if current was passed thru her butt crack and scampered back to cattle class. Obviously, staff enviously asked the Captain, what's up? " Oh. I whispered to her, " the rest of the plane is headed towards Melb but the FC is landing at Sydney!"

@@SonsOfLorgar Yeah, when I was listening to that story I kept thinking that the trumpet thieves were going to end up getting a trumpet to the face.

Story 3 broke my damn heart. And that woman is an outright narcissistic monster.

Yeah I'm sitting here crying over a trumpet.
I actually started tearing up, it was just so horrifically sad.
Indeed, although I don't think the kid being kicked out was all that fair as he didn't really seem all that bratty, just the mother being entitled...
The story about the friend and her instrument brought me to tears. Wow.
You're not the only one

It only took like 5-10 minutes but if she just opened the wallet to check the ID as soon as she thought it might not be mine. these are some of the People I believe deserve no forgiveness and Needs to be punished for their actions!
Not to mention a valid reason to press for emotional damages

So, he's driving south from San Francisco to Los Altos (which is a very pricey burg in the bay area), in his silver Porsche 911 with vanity plate, and I guess bc he's African American, some corko who is into racial profiling pulled him over. He wasn't speeding, as several other vehicles passed him on the road, so the officer in question decided he was going to get him on a DWI charge. And decided to have said instructor do one of their tests that drunks almost always fail.
The test? Stand on one foot for one minute without falling over.

@@alanalirkani I’m surprised the cops didn’t slap the cuffs on her then for assault
It was safer to wait for police. The lady would probably have hurt OP, herself or damage the car.
Safer for the Karen in the short term maybe, but if you get in the car, try to leave, and she blocks you in, she could be looking at a charge of unlawful detention on top of everything else.
I'm so glad I don't live in a Karen infected country.
The third story had me tearing up. It’s so sad OP lost his friend/sister. I’m happy he continues to use her instrument in her memory. So sweet and kind. Happy he still has something to remember her by and also as a connection to her too.
Some people say that music is a way of showing your soul
Now OP is honoring his best friend trought his soul
I have barely touched my clarinet after my best friend of almost 15 years was put down. I have only recently bought clarinet music so I could possibly start playing it again. I miss you, Lady 😢
I know that pain all too well of getting a call that your best friend is dead. Especially when it was within the hour of you just seeing them and talking to them. Its been 10 years and it still hurts. His father's wife made it all about her at the funeral while my friends mother could hardly stand.

I'd say, "Lady, I plan to hang onto this trumpet. It's the last of my girlfriend that I have left and she would want me to have it. If your son wants it so badly, you can buy one just like it for him as a gift, or have him buy one himself. There's no way in hell you're getting this one."

As a human it broke my heart.
Would the damage to the trumpet affect the sounds of it? (He says he still plays it)
@@elenalizabeth it would depend on where and how it was dented, a dent in the bell edge will affect both the way it vibrates and the direction it projects the sounds.

I would absolutely press charges, for harassment.
@@lancerevell5979 I agree, pressing charges is the only way these Karens will learn their lesson.
What a horrible mom for essentially ruining her son's future due to her disrespect and entitlement.

Not sure how traffic stops go in Germany (he mentioned autobahn), but definitely the right idea in the US.

I get annoyed when people who do not press charges against these entitled monsters. By not pressing charges, the entitled will refuse to learn and they will continue to do it.
True that.
Well there are countries were its rather expencive or nonbeneficial to press charges for small things like in the second Story.
@@faillordxd0 , then those countries need new laws and leaders.
@@paxhumana2015 Yeah no thanks, no need for that.
OP keep playing your sweet friend's trumpet it keeps her soul alive, and helps give you peace from your loss of a dear friend
The trumpet story made me 😭. I have heard countless time already but still makes me 😭.
The trumpet story is really sad and hope that karen gets what coming to her. And the op handled it very well. Glad he plays her trumpet

That 3rd story got me going...holy shit who says that to a child that lost there best friend
Second story: sure, OP was free to leave, but Karen would have thrown herself in front of the car, to "prevent OP from stealing it". So in all actuallity, "leaving" was never an option.
Yeah, I can imagine that something like this would have happened.
I’ve heard the story about the trumpet before and it breaks my heart every time. It never ceases to amaze me how cruel people can be.
No matter how much the shortage of capable officers are, rather take a smaller but effective at their job number then larger but incompetent any day!)
you have a nice imagination
@@Luthwen1301 I'm guessing you have a sad life?
This sounds like BS because the cop refused documentation which would have proved ownership. Also, you never explained what happened to the cop after the story broke. Keep working on it. Some of history's greatest writers needed years to hone their trade.
I could sit on a toilet and hatch a better made up story than this one
That was a far more depressing story than I expected.
Story three made me cry so hard. I’m so glad OP treasures that trumpet and keeps his best friend’s memory alive. ♥️
Id have just sat *in my car* and eat my food, or if it got cold, make her pay for new food.
In story 3 i find it really wholesome that OC still has there friend's trumpet
Why is it so hard for Karens to mind their own business?
I hate it when people do that whole "They're dead so they don't need it anymore." thing they do to try to get what they want. I hate to say it but I have dealt with that more then once and it wasn't the same person. Idk what makes them so entitled but it does cause the ones that loved them break.
Story 2: Wow! That Karen....even with all the evidence and conformation FROM A POLICE OFFICER still thought that OP had stolen the car.
I felt sorry for her son, must be tiring dealing with a person like that.
Story 3 OP, I know you aren't gonna see this, but I am sorry that happened to you and your passed friend
I'd imagine the crazy mom from the BK story would most likely try to stand in the way of his car, which is probably why he didn't just leave.
You don’t have to wait but it’s better to solve it then and there. She could of sent the police after the guy and make it a bigger problem
That's what I thought!! Why stay in a Burger King parking lot? I call Shenanigans on that story
@@jenn8179 Yeah, if you've got shit to do you don't have to stay there to appease some nosy Karen and her entitled ass that thinks she deserves answers about your personal life...wow. It amazes me when I hear these stories and these people stay there and answer questions, these Karens are never going to be brought down a notch or two unless people start telling them off!
Car story:
'This isn't your car, you stole it.'
'Yes, it is.'
'You're too young and couldn't afford it.'
'Well I assure you it is.'
'I'm calling the police.'
'OK, bye!'
i would have pressed charges on the crazy karen who thinks the guy stole his own car, i bet if he did try to drive away, the crazy mom would have jumped on the hood of the car lol
lol I bet, she seems crazy enough to do that
it would been funny seeing her on the hood on the highway.
@@brianmcgill1290 HAHAHAHAHA OH MY GOD YES!! STOP THIS CAR!!! STOP IT! YOU STOLE IT!! I'M SLIPPING!! WHERE ARE YOU GOING! he then slams on the breaks and she goes flying in to the ditch lol
@@Godzilladino meanwhile the son is just standing there yelling BUT HOW WILL I GET HOME! oh wait.... i have the keys to her car.... welp dude if you can dropper her off at said location please! she does this about once a week.
If that happened im turning on my inner suge knight and there you go no Karen
I normally watch these videos To hear some of the ridiculous things These Entitled people Do But what I wasn't expecting was a story That would have me nearly in tears
If that Karen touched me she would be getting some iron in her diet because she would be tasting some sheet metal on my truck.
There's 3 options when dealing with EMs
1 argue with a unmovable object "tell the cops arrive"
2 stay quite and watch the self-destruction
3 "if your the husband" get a divorce and take custody of the kids "if they ain't already corrupted"
The BK story. Yeah seriously..... when a *16 YEAR OLD CHILD* has more common sense and smarts than his mother is a thing to see.
I started listening as a break between studying and I can't stop...
Thank you for the narrations, they're so fun to tune in to!
I would totally keep going back to that Burger King hoping to encounter that woman again.
Thanks!!
I'm the first story even if I decided to wait for the 🚨🚓 I would have definitely ate my food there while I was waiting and it was hot
The trumpet one breaks my heart. I'm sure the BFF is smiling upon op for not only keeping the trumpet close but also keeping their dream alive
Thanks Fluff and Steveo! I’m buying stock in IcyHot for the muscle strain in my neck from all the head shaking your stories about Karen’s cause!❤
8:55 Rorona Zoro's back story w/ trumpets; still touching
About story 3: I feel so sorry for OP.
I think it's very touching that OP of story 3 honors his friend's memory by playing her trumpet as she left it. I'm so glad her foster parents allowed him to keep it in remembrance of her.
Woo! First at last! Lol you rock Fluff!
Story 2. ALWAYS. PRESS. CHARGES. otherwise these people will feel free to pull the same stunt on someone else later.
some people hurt my brain
When I was in highschool there were a lot of parents that bought their 16 yr nice cars. Did this crazy karen never met or see this concept before?
ALWAYS PRESS CHARGES AGAINST EVERY KAREN. Never let them making more damage to good people.
It sometimes is better to wait, having her call the cops and inform them your driving away can cause more problems depending on the cops.
Plus it could make the one accused a lot more guilty if you do drive off
Always press charges.
These insane people need to learn the hard way to STOP
