The more I look into modern textual criticism and their views on preservation, the more king James only I become. Thank you Dan Wallace for making me more KJV only by your work!
I just started seminary this week (in Eastern Europe) and we began with the history of the New Testament and then textual criticism. We had the usual talk: "over 5000 greek manuscripts", "oldest and best", "NA 28 good", "Erasmus bad hahaha", "KJV bad hahaha" and all the rest of that wonderful stuff... The teacher "forgot" to mention that those "oldest and best" are only 2 manuscripts... As far as I can tell I'm the only TR person there so we are going to have a very good time :)). Thank you for the videos and the articles.
Yes there would've been a lot more push back on this stuff in the Church. I'm probably a little bit older than you wouldn't say a lot, but a little bit. When I think back on the Church I grew up in in which they used the KJV when I was a kid of about 10, when they switched over to the NASB when I was about 20 that was the beginning of that's Churches road down unbelief to me. I no longer go to that Church, but I go to their website and listen to their podcast and I listened to a sermon where the Pasture there now was saying Mark was the first Gospel written. Which I believe Markian priority is a subtle heresy, but in the 80's and 90's it would've been shocking to even hear a member say that much less the head Pasture of the Church.

I see a parallel with evolutionists. Here the scriptural text being the object of their science.
