Dave if you have a 3.1L or 3.4L.
This is a very very common issue. It's most likely not the head gasket /gaskets.
The sealer is not NOT going to solve the leak. And eventually the engine will seize up.
Keep the oil checked. For water and over filled.
OK, this is what's wrong. The lower intake gaskets are made from plastic and rubber. And they crack around the water jackets. It's a real mess. It's a 5/7hour fix. But must be done. Unless you want to put another engine in it. Make sure you spend the extra $$,and buy the metal replacement gasket set.
    About $70/$100.
Trust me Mr Blue will fail .and hopefully not at a very inopportune time.
Just trying to help and give a bit of great advice.

Used Blue Devil on the Ex's Impala (3.4) 7 years ago at 68,000 miles and converted it from dexcool to regular. Still going strong at 170,000 miles. Did the heads on mine at 107,000 with metal gaskets and now it's blown at 192,000. Always the rear head and either number five or number 1 cylinder, or both. There is a school of thought that it's the dexcool, not the gaskets. I think it's both, and also the engineering of the engine itself. Who knows. GM aint talkin. Had a friend use Blue Devil on a Hyundai at 120,000 miles. Barely ran. Still running well at 150,000. To me, if you get another year it's well worth it. If I have to replace an engine, well, ok. Chevys are exciting and could make a cool video. I would have fun with it like we did back in the day. Keeps my tools from rusting! (and me)
