    Mary, I rarely comment on videos but while going back and re-watching some of your earlier videos you stated that your only hope was that you could inspire people with your channel. I want you to know that not only do you inspire me to be creative and use up every last drop of everything, but more importantly, you inspire me to be better and do better. Please know that you sharing your life and who you are absolutely makes a difference in my life and I'm sure, so many others. The table and box are gorgeous.

      She chooses to use her talents to be active and she taps into her creativity. I admire her work ethic. Saying someone is “blessed” is a turnoff to Christianity. Are people with disabilities who cannot do those things cursed?

    • @JolovesDecor
      @JolovesDecor 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@jlsumner7 no. I meant nothing by this. Just that she’s very talented. I feel God blessed everyone with different talents and abilities. That’s all. This is what’s wrong with the world today. People make something out of nothing. I’m disabled, so should I take your attacking my comment offending? No, because I see this for what it is. I’m 53. I’ve lived way to much life to allow a simple compliment or comment about what someone can do get under my skin by someone who’s most likely looking for an opportunity to cause more division in this world. I’m not blessed to be a basketball player, or play the piano, but I have other abilities. That’s all I meant. She’s a blessed person. Is your REAL issue with God, or that someone with or without disabilities couldn’t be blessed? (Which was your ?)
      And no....saying the word blessed is NOT. A turnoff to Christianity. Unless you have an issue with Christianity.
      God blessed everyone, and I’m not apologizing for God either. Have a blessed day.

    You and women like you, makes me so proud. Two months ago, our teenage grandsons was horsing around in the den. One of them, slam the doorknob into the wall. I've seen my husband make these kinds of repairs a lot, because of our four boys. So I decided to try and do it, what a mess. I wouldn't close the door, I didn't want him to see the larger hole I had made. And that metal tape stuff along with the paste, that had fallen into the hole. I had forgotten about the hole. Closed the door a few days ago and found it had been repaired. With a note that read. "Thank you baby for trying." He hasn't brought it up,nether have I. I just fixed him a Sweet potato custard. And the note read: Thank you baby. Peace

      @@janenefelter4056 Thank you:) Your comment reminded me of projects my Dad would do. We crawled across an empty pool once & dismantled a huge wooden makeshift pool cover to bring him a truckload of wood. He used it for yrs, making a lrg sign & barber pole for my Mom's shop (still there). He even reused some of the nails! Grew huge tomatoes. He's been gone 10yrs now, & I wish he could've taught me much more. (Especially now as a newly single chic w/a necessity to know all the "fix-it" skills myself). Learn all you can from him. I wish you a prosperous 2021:)

    Woman power is always cheaper than going into a big box home improvement store and purchasing their low quality products. Plus, you disassembling that box spring and repurposing the materials, helps to keep that stuff out of the landfills. I'd say, it was completely worth the time. Yes I agree she should wear eye protection. That is concern nothing else. Since I had eye operation I am more aware of it when I am working in the garden to wear protection. Bits could fly up better safe than sorry. You only have one pair of eyes.

    Hey sweet lady. I love watching your videos. Please be safer when using all your equipment for cutting wood by using eye protection and gloves. I just had to say something, sorry. It’s only because I care. Truly.

    I think it was totally worth it to take apart the bed frame! You must feel so much satisfaction out of repurposing the wood and the springs! I am so amazed at how many bed frames end up in our landfill! Love the bench and the little box! And I never would have thought to use the springs the way you did!

    You do such a beautiful job. I can’t get over how cute that little box came out. I wouldn’t have thought of that in a million years. Not to mention the nice table.

    You work so hard and didn’t give up! Sometimes I feel that way with art and craft projects, keeping on usually is worth it! Blessed and safe days!

    Really nice projects Mary. Only 2 hours to take it apart doesn't seem to bad. I'm glad you recycled it. I think the creative process and seeing a vision come to fruition is more important than how long it takes to disassemble. Thanks

    Those spring coils are great for primitive rustic decor , put them in your shop. Thanks Mary for sharing.

    Mary, You are an absolute delight to watch. I call you my friend when I'm working in my own shop. Sometimes my husband will say, "why are you doing it that way?" And I respond with, "because that's how my friend Mary does it." Please keep sharing your creative and resourceful spirit with us. I look so forward to your videos.

    What a blessing. We are to be wise stewards of the blessings God has given us. So many people take a lot for granted. To me you were using what God gave you to the max. Too much waste in this country. Loved your ideas. Looked great.

    We would never laugh at you, Mary, you are so talented. We know you just have to try things to see if it’s worth it, and you do. These things turned out great. And yes, you do inspire me. I have told myself more than once to try something or do something now that I needed to do because “Mary would do it!” And “Mary would see it through to the end!” That’s the truth. ❤️
