Impact drivers are the best thing ever for driving screws. I did fine wood work for nearly a decade and it was a chore trying to train kids on how to drive a screw into finished wood without slipping off and damaging it. Needless to say, once impact drivers came out, I had much fewer employee repairs.

sixtyfiveford With a drill you have to push real hard on it not to strip the screws out. The impact drivers you don’t have to do that. There also so small I can get it into tight places. I bought that impact driver almost 3 years ago and just started using it. Now I will be using it all the time.

I use mine all the time on machinery repairs. Just throw a 3/8" on it and sockets on it and it'll whip off virtually any small bolt. My SnapON 3/8" air impact has been retired since I got one.

I also have the 1/2 drive Milwaukee impact. I use that all the time out in the field. Works great for taking Axle nuts off and Harmonic balancer bolts , and many other things.

Ive fought that fight before also. them little SOBs really can be destructive. gotta watch cold joints in concrete . great video !!!

johnsont963 First I noticed ants going under the concrete . I thought that was odd because I never seen ants in my yard before. I sprayed lots of chemicals on the ants and they would find a way around. What I didn’t know is ants eat termites.

The mud for the joints won't take the paint right if you don't prime it. It will cause the color and texture of the new paint to be different. Prime, then paint and it will look much better. The best way to match the color is to paint the whole wall.

I have used beyer concentrate insecticide for years It works great, then i started to double the amount of concentrate I added to the water & it quit working, good thing my buddy told me the reason why, then I mixed the correct amount stated on the container & it worked great again so I dont know if it is a great idea to dump the insecticide without mixing it.

+mannyrob After I did that I had to spray a little bit of water down the crack to wash it out before I filled it in. So I think it got diluted a little bit.

Bobby Vincent It took 6 to 7 days. Only reason for that is you have to wait for each thing to dry.

Hate termites, little pricks do a LOT of damage. I would have dumped a 55 gallon drum of the stuff under there...LOL. If the original texture looked like it was sanded flat they probably shot the texture, let it set up a bit then troweled over it to flatten the peaks out. All looks good in the end.

That termite killer was pretty expensive and the fumes were so bad dumping it down there straight not mixed with water the way your suppose to mix it.
