      I don't think he changed his way because the english teams are better. I think he changed because the football changed. The german school become famous e this type of football works well against spanish school. Guardiola had to create a team stronger and taller to deal with Klopp's teams. Also he found a way to beat them using more the sides and the speed. Haaland was the key to this team, because now Man City has a guy who can fight with big defenders e beat them on the running like Van Djik. When They had Aguero, Man City didn't beat the Liverpool's defense because the only way Guadiola had to score goals with his striker was doing moviments and now they can use this strategy with Alvarez but He can use the strong the violence to break the wall with Haaland (Sorry for my english)

      @@lucasoliveira-el7dz yes, Pep isnt playing the same way he played in barca or in bayern, the guy truly adapts to a ever changing game and keeps delivering results. This man city team doesnt play the way barca 08 09 played, and its hard at least for me to tell which side would get the better in an hipotetical game between the two.

    • @lucasoliveira-el7dz
      @lucasoliveira-el7dz 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@joaosampaio4039 I think city would win because they are stronger than Barça fisically. Beside, Man City is able to survive when They are in trouble, but Barca didn't do it. If you look back, Barca was eliminated against Inter playind worst than Mourinhos' team in Milan. Against Chelsea in 2009 the raferee helped them because Chelsea played much better than Barça. However, Man City knows the moment they need to survive. Against Real madrid, after Vni score, Man City was in trouble and they hold the game to wait Real Madrid be tired. When Real lost their chances to finish the round, De Bruyne sent his bomb to equal the game. In my opinion, Barça didn't have this feeling to know when they need to hold the game and survive

    • @lucasoliveira-el7dz
      @lucasoliveira-el7dz 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@joaosampaio4039 Yesterday proved my opinion. Liverpool smashed Man city and They kept the outcome. If you look 2019, Liverpool went as a tsumani against Barcelona and they won for 4 -0 and They didn't have Mo and Bob. In Brazil we have a opinion that Barcelona needs to be better to win and it's no necessarily with Man city now. They didn't play better than Inter and they won the final and Barcelona Fell against Rome even winning for 3 - 0 on the first leg

    Brilliant concept with asking the same questions. Shows sometimes true strength is staying to your philosophy with small attentions to detail and input from others that are relevant is a must to keep adapting to the times. Never get comfortable, never say you will change, yet always change small details but never the core fundamentals that still have high impact.
    Sad but true, perfectionism, obsession, and addiction is required to hit the high motivation levels of someone like Pep and say Elon Musk as an example. Two things that many of us try to kick out of our lives as it causes extreme stress and generally results in bad behaviours. Redirect, but many of the same ailments stay true. Ultimate success or pure bliss (that we don’t always understand we have achieved). Or are the two not exclusive pending on one’s personality traits. One thing I have come to realise both are needed to further us, to have the bar set.
    I think for many that Barcelona team where the best manager and best player resided was an absolute blessing to witness. Mind you watching Busquets, Xavi and Inesta as the best functional midfield 3 ever was also hard to comprehend. I still state to this day that the best outside forward I have ever seen under Pep was Pedro. I don’t know why that feels controversial to say. He was apart of the magnificent 3. He constantly stretched the line for Messi to drop in, for Xavi and Inesta to have open half space. For constantly allowing the 3 to put balls in behind. No one ever did it as well as Pedro. Lastly, to make it the perfect 7. Alves was the best right back I have ever seen in regard to industry. Pep, Alves, Busquets, Xavi, Inesta, Pedro and Messi is what I hope Pep one day creates again. Eto, Puyol and Pique were obviously right up there. But not at the level of the irreplaceable 7 for me. They were absolute unplayable and the definition of a team.

    forget about 8 years, just compare last year treble season and the season before, Pep also adapt, you'll never seen Pep side time wasting or playing 5 defenders, but he did it last year, i think he started to realized that in UCL he has to adapt, because many clubs are as good as Man City, he can't always become the dominant side, and it was proven with his treble.

      The style of play was the same, we played with the 3atb so we can have the extra man (stones) in midfield to accumulate for haaland not doing much and it worked so well because the wide centre backs could push up when attacking making teams suffer
