Great work! I did the M119 swap into my W126 coupe and it had a lot more in common with the original M117 engine (Bosch CIS, aircon, hydraulic pump for the rear SLS, etc.) so I did not have to reengineer a lot of things like you did. I still gained ~100 HP over the US M117 engine (322 HP vs. 238 HP) and modified the valve body on the 722 transmission to start in 1st gear so quite a bit more fun to drive.
Bro puts together the ultimate badass car by not only swapping but also modifying the 113k but doesn't have the time to install the engine's heat cover. My kind of prioritizing
Sweet install! I've thought about fitting an intercooler to my w126 turbo diesel, and mounting it about where you have your condenser mounted. Perhaps someday...
amazing, a very well done job, would have been amazing if you had how to steps from putting the engine in, to transmission type and how it was all wired in
I have an 04 E55 but man, this is my dream car right here! Absolutely love it in every way and can't wait to see more videos of it. Great great job Brent! Going to look for you on Instagram lol I need side pictures
Dude I have a 190E AMG 2.3 official stamped pre-merger fully optioned from japan without any performance additions. I've just managed to get my hands on a 2003 E500 that I was hoping to strip down as a donor car and either twin or single turbo the old girl to make it worthy of Having that AMG badge. I only pray I can find a solution to finding a space to accomplish this task. But the inspiration to keep myself in check is definitely going to be necessary by reflecting on your workmanship.
Due to the value and collectable of pre-merger AMG I think it is not a good idea to modify it and you are better sourcing a stock 190E for a engine swap
@@BrentoBenz Problem being is no body surrounding the car has any idea of value doing a lazy VIN search and then trying to palm it on as a standard 190E. Only problem with that is, that it's factory coded as Japan direct import build date changed from original to between a 1990 and 2003 C class. Which of the knowledge I've managed to acquire. Is definitely not a standard consignment 190E especially with its fully optioned interior and suspension brakes and aero. I'm really struggling to find answers.

No I say go for it. It would be a better fit than an M119 which we know can get in there fine. And I think a manual suits the W124 chassis perfectly. In fact this is my next project, I have an M156 and CD00A I’m swapping into my 300E.
What beautiful work! I have a acquired a MB 190SL that I intend to swap a M113K into. In fact, I hope to improve performance, handling and braking by swapping the appropriate components from an SLK 55 AMG into the 190SL while keeping the body entirely original. Do you know of this engine swap being done before?
@@BrentoBenz, I wouldn't undertake such a modification, but the car cannot be restored for a reasonable cost relative to its value. So, the plan is to upgrade it to make a ton of fun to drive.
Hi Brent, loved your journey. Question, do you think the M113K would fit into the W124 chassis without any major modifications? Either the 300ce or 300e specifically.

Hey Brent, I am in WA too. Would you share and recommend a good shop that can help me with my C55 K conversion? I have almost all the parts ready to go.
Nor sorry I have never dealt with a workshop that does engine swaps, they would be few and far between. Depending on your time frame I could do it for you.
No, I bought the donor S55 for $4500 at auction, pulled the engine and transmission and a bunch of other parts like the tail shaft, exhaust etc. then re sold the remaining car for $6000. So I made money and got a free engine and transmission
@@BrentoBenz damn. I was thinking about this for the last few weeks, I love the way the W212 looks such a beautiful E class, just sad to see how poorly designed the engines are
On the hub dyno we tuned on a stock manual LSA put down around 420hp at the wheels. We made 480hp with 98 octane fuel on a conservative tune. So comparing to the LSA cars it’s making somewhere around 500kW at the engine. There is nobody here that has experience tuning these engines to know how much timing is safe and I only have 5 degrees at full boost and power. I think if everything is going well we could through a bit more timing in and get it to 500 or 580 on E85 fuel.
Great work!
