The Clones were the most tragic victims of the war. Bred for battle and loyalty, slaves to a government they never chose to serve, and in the end forced to kill the Jedi they grew to respect and love.
Most of the clones strongly disliked most of the jedi. There are expectations of course such as Anakin, Ayla Secura, Obi-Wan, Ki-Adi-Mundi, and Kit Fisto. The clones often considered the jedi soft, and not able to make hard decisions that would mean sacrificing lives to win a battle. The clones were certainly dealt a bad hand, especially so in cannon. In legends many became mercenaries, Mandalorians, normal citizens, or just stayed in the army by choice. In legends they were even given a choice to become stage zero of the dark trooper program, and be artificially enhanced by cybernetics to counter their rapidly aging bodies. After the battle of Hoth, in legends almost all of the clones had retired from military service with none remaining even in the 501st.
@@shadow9774 acctualy most clones hated their generals because they let so many clones die because of their lack of military strategy, example: pon krell, who was leading his unit to their deaths even before his fall to the dark side, it was recorded that his unit had the highest recorded casualties of any unit

the moment i saw the four commandos with the blue armor, i knew they were gonna go down first, and probably in a stupid way. i wasnt disappointed. three of them got run over by a car, and one failed to take advantage of the element of surprise. NONE of them fired a shot.
Palapatine just doesn't give a F*** about these poor men and basically every clone and pawns. They died for protecting something that wasn't as important
I remember reading this comic and it was so sad, I knew what commandos were and to see how useless the package was for the clones to all die was traumatic as I never knew how mistreated the clone troopers were
This reminds me of a bridge too far, and that poor English Army soldier who runs out to grab supplies being dropped too far away from their fortifications by friendly aircraft. He dashes out into no mans land, heroically grabs one of the canisters, and runs back. His comrades are cheering for him, they are so low on every supply imaginable that even one canister would give them hope and something well needed, but before he makes it back to friendly faces he is shot, and killed. As he collapses, the canister falls out of his hands, and we finally get to see inside. The canister was filled with red replacement berets, nothing else.

Considering how strong commando armor is, half the stuff shouldn't have killed these guys.
