I worked for a machine shop when I was just out of high school. The owner took me under his wing and trained me in every department in the shop. I'm now 64 years old, and I still appreciate everything he did for me, including gifting me a beautiful Gershner wooden toolbox, which I still have. Thanks to the CCN for making a lifetime memory for Diego.
Congratulations Diego! And thank you Ahmed for having the patience and knowledge to teach Diego how to be a successful technician. This is an opportunity of a lifetime for him.
Congratulation Diego. I used to work with an electronic technician then later promoted to production engineer. He never hold an EE degree but he was much better than any engineer that I have been working with. Dedication and hard work are the key.
Man America is truly something else... How easy it is for you guys to find 2008-2013 cars with only 60-80k miles on the ODO is surreal. Here in the Balkans almost every used car is with about 160k miles on the ODO... You are extremely lucky if you find a non rusted one with 100-120k...
AMD, After watching the complete tour, I have a better understanding of your decision to temporarily delay the installation of the studio seating, snack bar and souvenir kiosk. 😉😉
I'm so happy for Diego, he has found a great home indeed. I remember my first job in the lawnmower shop and I had the greatest teacher as well, helped me formulate detailed work habits. Wish my old Camry was there, but am hoping to find a decent used Highlander....
Oh my gosh, cars are packed-in like sardines in a can waiting for their turn yet AMD seems to take it all in stride! I'm just certain one of those tool boxes has to be the hidden liquor cabinet.
Hey AMD 😊 Been following you now for 3 years almost and thanks to you I went away from German cars (Audi’s) over to a Lexus GS hybrid. Never regretted ever since, my heart now belongs to Toyota and Lexus land from now on. Just wanted to say that I love your work and wish you and your TCCN family the best of luck and as you always say, May the Lord bless you and keep you. P.S To bad you aren’t based in Norway 😆
Thanks for all the videos… I’m actually a Lotus guy (2011 Evora), but I watch your channel all the time for tips on the 2GR engine… they’re ALWAYS very helpful! Glad to see your shop is full… too much business is definitely the right problem to have!
Been staring at that century for awhile. Good to finally know what is being done to it. Crazy how rare parts are but with how well made they are i expected that
Every time I watch one of these I’m always looking for my 02 Camry. Love working with Ahmed he always takes care of me, says hi, and explains what’s going on. Always feel assured my car is in good hands. Good seeing you on Wednesday!
Me too, it seemed just like yesterday. I'm a regular at his place and try not to talk to him too much since he's always being pulled in different directions.
Love what you do as always. Did you change something with your audio or mic's? I thought the mic had better clarity and depth in the previous video. Congrats to Diego for his achievements! I hope more master mechanics like yourself will train new technicians the right way. Keep up the good work. May the Lord bless you and keep you and have yourself a wonderful day.😉
I'm going to have to find out how to check for the valley plate leak on a RCF. My son is currently saving for one, and he's left it up to me to check it out first... Of course... 😂 13:18 Put it on your schedule AMD! I'd Love to see a video on that repair! 💯
Hey Ahmed, Would like to say how much Ive learned from your videos, Thank you. P.S. Do you have any recommendations for the kind of grease to use for lx470 drive shaft and u joints
I have a 2024 tundra. No problem s yet. The only thing I have on it is the start stop if I don't press the start stop button and put it in park the motor shuts off and starts up again. I don't like that. I always have to press the stop button to eliminate it.😊
I love this shop-tours...somthimes its a trip back in time with the oldskool cars...im very curious how the 'other' space in the shop looks like...nice story of Diego...is it normal to bring your own tools when you become a mechanic?🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱
I own a Sienna that I fixed with a blown head gasket. My buddy's Sienna had the same problem. On Craigslist I have found many Sienna's being sold with the same blown head gasket problem.
As being from Europe, I find it hard to wrap my head around that mechanics in shops need to buy their own tools. Here in Europe the mechanics provide the labour and the shop provides the tools. Do firemen need to buy their own hoses? Do office workers bring their own desks? 😅
Hi AMD, Your last shop video a few months ago mentioned a Sienna that needed their knock sensors replaced. Did that ever get recorded? Will we ever see that job?
How do you work in your shop with that many automobiles looks like you play a lot of musical car ever day do you have any staging area or just take them outside every day and bring them inside in the evening
My understanding is that he moves all the cars inside at closing time as the landlord doesn’t want any cars sitting outside overnight. So he’s filming this in the evening and that’s why the shop is crammed full.
Hello car Care nut. everything is looking great! i got a quick question. i also have a GX460, but i live way up north where it can get to -40*C and want to put a block heater in, but the Lexus dealership said they had issues with them causing fires. but there is a spot for one on the block. what are your thoughts?
The LX with the stolen cat with a cost of 6000k! I work for a metal recycler and the cat is probably worth about $100-400 CDN. Not sure where the thieves bring the stolen cats but is it really worth it!?
Oil delusion - maybe the engine is not getting hot enough - it is a new situation with cars - hybrids particularly - no one has even spoken about - it is considered normal now for engine oil to have a strong scent of fuel - that would be so annoying to me and people with it never tell anyone pondering a similar powertrain about it.
Wow you are so busy how you have time do do car reviews and fix cars? With so many cars in your shop you need to work 7 days and 14 hours a day just to catch up
I'm looking for anyone's insight of my problem I have 2021 venza 30000 miles it's great car it's just become to small for us we are thinking of trading it in on a 2025 highlander hybrid any thoughts anyone ? Thanks
Do customers ever have cars shipped to you for maintenance and repair from say....Georgia? I had an 06 4runner that I just hated to get rid of because at 169000 miles one thing after another started failing. 1 owner southern T4r. No one trustworthy here to repair things correctly at a fair price. ESPECIALLY THE TWO TOYOTA DEALERs. They were outright incompetent crooks. Anyway, cars shipped to you?
@Benefits-ix9jy Time to wake up and see that your religion is based in lies and deceptions. There is only 1 GOD, The Lord Jesus Christ. May you see the truth and come to Jesus before it is too late for you my brother. The door is closing soon and will never be reopened. REPENT.

DIEGO, congratulations brother. Happy for your growth, keep at it.
I want to thank you for supporting your team 🙏 shop owners nowadays don't do much for good technicians.
When AMD drops a TCCN Automotive shop update, it's a great day!
Congratulations Diego! And thank you Ahmed for having the patience and knowledge to teach Diego how to be a successful technician. This is an opportunity of a lifetime for him.
i'm so happy for your success ...... and thank you for being such a humble human being.
Stunning garage with only 1 fault, it's on other side of the ocean 😉👍 we need such good garage crew in UK 👍
Congratulation Diego.
I used to work with an electronic technician then later promoted to production engineer. He never hold an EE degree but he was much better than any engineer that I have been working with. Dedication and hard work are the key.
I love these video’s Ahmed, I know it’s a while ago, but still love it. It’s nice to see what’s going on a TCCN.
Old school cars are best thing to have these days and overall!!!
Man America is truly something else... How easy it is for you guys to find 2008-2013 cars with only 60-80k miles on the ODO is surreal. Here in the Balkans almost every used car is with about 160k miles on the ODO... You are extremely lucky if you find a non rusted one with 100-120k...
You're probably aware but we use miles not kilometers so our 60-80,000 miles are the equivalent of 100-130,000 kilometers.
AMD, After watching the complete tour, I have a better understanding of your decision to temporarily delay the installation of the studio seating, snack bar and souvenir kiosk. 😉😉
Look how God has blessed you AMD. You deserve it sir 👏🏾 🙌🏾
I'm so happy for Diego, he has found a great home indeed. I remember my first job in the lawnmower shop and I had the greatest teacher as well, helped me formulate detailed work habits. Wish my old Camry was there, but am hoping to find a decent used Highlander....
God bless Ahmed.. what an awesome problem to have with all these cars to repair.. I see many new videos coming!Cheers to you and your team!
Oh my gosh, cars are packed-in like sardines in a can waiting for their turn yet AMD seems to take it all in stride! I'm just certain one of those tool boxes has to be the hidden liquor cabinet.

Amed - so cool that your business is thriving!
So happy with all your blessings, Diego keep at it… thank you for all you do.
Thanks for all the videos… I’m actually a Lotus guy (2011 Evora), but I watch your channel all the time for tips on the 2GR engine… they’re ALWAYS very helpful!
Glad to see your shop is full… too much business is definitely the right problem to have!
Thank you for the catch up Mr. Ahmed, I was distracted continuously looking at the white Land Cruiser! Congrats Diego!
Full house..! Thanks again for another great video...!
Thank you for the update!
Been staring at that century for awhile. Good to finally know what is being done to it. Crazy how rare parts are but with how well made they are i expected that
Always fun to get the tour with the update. Diego did the maintenance on my GX!!!!!!🙂🙂🙂
As i said before If I lived closer to your shop, I would've had all my repairs done with you on my 2002 ES300. Great shop...
You're going to need a bigger shop. What a back log!
High five to Diego, and to you for given him the opportunity to learn
Wish you all the success. Stay blessed
Every time I watch one of these I’m always looking for my 02 Camry. Love working with Ahmed he always takes care of me, says hi, and explains what’s going on. Always feel assured my car is in good hands. Good seeing you on Wednesday!
DIEGO WE LOVE YOU BRO!!
Love the shop and like to listen to you
You need one of those Carvana multilevel garages!
Good job, for once, a honest and trustworthy mechanic.
Love these vids! Please keep us updated on that Corolla issue.
Luv your work ethic...
This reminds me of giving report during shift change in the ED. 😂 It's amazing you can give a detailed history for all of these vehicles.
Holy car repairs !!! That's a lot of vehicles 😮 how you remember what's what !!!
Good morning sir Ahmed God bless
Wow, your so busy! I can remember when you first got this place!
Me too, it seemed just like yesterday. I'm a regular at his place and try not to talk to him too much since he's always being pulled in different directions.
I sure wish there was a shop like this near me in Northern California.
Like his review channel, most useful review on TH-cam. If he would live in Alaska, I would own only Toyota brand.
Love what you do as always. Did you change something with your audio or mic's? I thought the mic had better clarity and depth in the previous video. Congrats to Diego for his achievements! I hope more master mechanics like yourself will train new technicians the right way. Keep up the good work. May the Lord bless you and keep you and have yourself a wonderful day.😉
Well-done Sir 🤝❤
No wonder I couldn't get an appointment for pre-purchase inspection. You need a bigger or a second shop and presto! :)
I'm going to have to find out how to check for the valley plate leak on a RCF. My son is currently saving for one, and he's left it up to me to check it out first... Of course... 😂
13:18
Put it on your schedule AMD! I'd Love to see a video on that repair! 💯
Thank you for the update on the white supra.. woot woot..😂
Has to be a great shop when they need to keep turning away business for a couple of weeks at a time just to catch up.
Hey Ahmed, Would like to say how much Ive learned from your videos, Thank you.
P.S. Do you have any recommendations for the kind of grease to use for lx470 drive shaft and u joints
Love this channel!!
Great video AMD, this video is scaring me to buy another Toyota. I am going to keep my 5th generation 4Runner for a long time.
Happy Thanksgiving Ahmed to you and your family!!
I have a 2024 tundra. No problem s yet. The only thing I have on it is the start stop if I don't press the start stop button and put it in park the motor shuts off and starts up again. I don't like that. I always have to press the stop button to eliminate it.😊

I STILL think u have not seen your busiest shop. Stay tuned.😉👍🇺🇸
would you say modern toyota has fewer issues than modern Honda? you need a lube tech to bang out the maintenance jobs.
That 7m took like a year to get back ridiculous how slow that machine shop is
YOU need to vapor hone the Supra valve covers may bring them back.
Every car’s dream is to be placed in Ahmed’s personal repair schedule.
I own a Sienna that I fixed with a blown head gasket. My buddy's Sienna had the same problem. On Craigslist I have found many Sienna's being sold with the same blown head gasket problem.
What year Sienna . 3.5.
Did you/they ever change the coolant or is it on the factory fill?
As being from Europe, I find it hard to wrap my head around that mechanics in shops need to buy their own tools. Here in Europe the mechanics provide the labour and the shop provides the tools. Do firemen need to buy their own hoses? Do office workers bring their own desks? 😅
Please AMD how to I know the updated cam gear for 3.5 v6 2GR engine
I would drive 1000 miles just to have TCCN work on my Toyota
By the look of your garage, I'm a 1000% certain that the Chicago area has internet , therefore your Utube channel
Hi AMD,
Your last shop video a few months ago mentioned a Sienna that needed their knock sensors replaced.
Did that ever get recorded?
Will we ever see that job?
We have a 94 LAND CRUISER same color
12:00 oh noooo OMG so sad to see 😢
My V-8 in my Tundra needs front timing chain cover resealed, Toyota quoted $2,600, what’s a fair price for a non-dealer??
How do you work in your shop with that many automobiles looks like you play a lot of musical car ever day do you have any staging area or just take them outside every day and bring them inside in the evening
How much trouble is it to move all these cars boxed in to get out to shop to work on?
My understanding is that he moves all the cars inside at closing time as the landlord doesn’t want any cars sitting outside overnight. So he’s filming this in the evening and that’s why the shop is crammed full.
That is crazy
Most these cars sit outside at their owners residence anyway
Not really satisfactory location
Hello car Care nut. everything is looking great! i got a quick question. i also have a GX460, but i live way up north where it can get to -40*C and want to put a block heater in, but the Lexus dealership said they had issues with them causing fires. but there is a spot for one on the block. what are your thoughts?
How ON EARTH do you get those cars parked so closely together then GET OUT of them without climbing out through the moon roofs? LOL
The LX with the stolen cat with a cost of 6000k! I work for a metal recycler and the cat is probably worth about $100-400 CDN. Not sure where the thieves bring the stolen cats but is it really worth it!?
What? I thought Lexus/Toyota took care of the Valley plate coolant leaks by 2015, for that red RCF in the shop
The downside of being a good mechanic is you'll be constantly busy...
Good problem to have I guess.
RCF thumbnail, I simply click.
Hey AMD you should be friend with Jarred from Questionable Garage.
Surprised ….so much business ….take care of your Toyota/Lexus initially 😎
Is the LS430 oil dripping on the SC430? 😅
Is this a second shop? What did I miss over the summer?
My head is spinning by watching too many cars
please do a video on the supra
❤😊
I wish you loved near me I would take my Lexus to you
Buenos dias
That is just too much going on
There is a risk here that things start going south
Sometimes just got to say no😅
Imagine wiping off the dust on so many cars daily?
Oil delusion - maybe the engine is not getting hot enough - it is a new situation with cars - hybrids particularly - no one has even spoken about - it is considered normal now for engine oil to have a strong scent of fuel - that would be so annoying to me and people with it never tell anyone pondering a similar powertrain about it.
Wow you are so busy how you have time do do car reviews and fix cars? With so many cars in your shop you need to work 7 days and 14 hours a day just to catch up
Couldn't you just go to the junkyard and get a used cat for that Lexus?
I'm looking for anyone's insight of my problem I have 2021 venza 30000 miles it's great car it's just become to small for us we are thinking of trading it in on a 2025 highlander hybrid any thoughts anyone ?
Thanks

YESSSSS
Put a LS engine in the 4 runner.
Very dumb idea

I've been trying to reach you, I had sent you an email (tccn) but it came back as invalid
