  • Testing our my new DJI Osmo Action 4 camera on my hour and a bit ride to Cooperb Motorcycles for my Bullet's first service.
Beautiful ride out and I need up spending around four and a half hours riding my Bullet Walter and a Hunter 350.

Did you chuck your commenting microphone, Beena? I like that, and feel that you should continue using it. Thank you for the video!

@@GeorgeConaway-w2b I still have it. This was one of my videos prior to buying it.

I suggest if you get a mike for the exhaust note then it will increase the video experience. everything else is good

wanted to ask regarding the difference in riding experience between the Bullet & Hunter but already found a detailed answer for that in the comments, thanks for that. :)
but another thing i wanted to ask & even I am considering, how has your experience been using the DJI Osmo Action 4? really confused between the GoPro & DJI Osmo. While most people putting up content on TH-cam seem to be going for GoPro, maybe coz of the name/brand value/how GoPro has been synonymous with "action cam" & DJI being exceptionally well in Drones, wanted to know the real life user experience from you.
Also found this camera angle to be slightly better than the Helmet Cam angle most people put out there. I might be because it was different. :)
    TIA.

Hi there. Glad you found the Bullet/Hunter comparison useful.
I haven't used a GoPro since the GoPro 3 so I can't really compare the Osmo to the latest models, but it is incredibly easy to use and user friendly. The picture quality is fantastic and the magnetic mounting system is genius. The quick start mode is brilliant as you press the button from it being turned off and it will be up and recording in about a second (apparently the GoPros take a few seconds more). I watched a lot of reviews on TH-cam before getting it and the general consensus was that it is better than the GoPro at the moment. The only negative I have with it is that it's a bit difficult to gauge whether you have pushed the button to start recording when you are wearing gloves - but I imagine that's the same on most of these types of cameras. I'm very happy with it. I prefer the chest mount view that I am using, rather than the helpmeet cam, as I like to see some of the bike included - I think it makes it a little more immersive.

Did you feel much difference between the Bullet and Hunter? I have the Hunter but am interested in the Bullet too, so keen to hear

Hi Daniel. There is a big difference. The Hunter has a sportier seating position with the slightly rearward pegs compared to the Bullet’s very traditional upright one. The extra weight of the Bullet is very noticeable and means that it is a more sedate ride in comparison to the Hunter’s nimble and peppy demeanour. The engine certainly feels more lively in the Hunter and it easily gets up to 70mph whereas I can struggle to hit 60mph with a headwind on the Bullet. I had an indicated 80mph (77.5mph GOS) on the Hunter at one point. The smaller wheels of the Hunter makes it so much more chuckable too. I imagine that it is a fantastic town/commuter bike, as I got stuck in traffic on the motorway and it was a pleasure darting in and out of the stationary vehicles. It certainly made me ride more aggressively and faster than when I’m on the Bullet.
So it sounds like the Hunter is the better bike…but I still prefer the Bullet. For me I prefer the laid back nature of it and it somehow feels more solid and planted. It feels a bit more special riding it compared to the Hunter and I feel like it seems more expensive.
I think at some point I’ll put the performance cam in it to try and give it some of that pep from the Hunter.

Many thanks for the detailed reply. It makes complete sense what you’ve written - I think I’ll test ride the bullet sometime soon and make a call from there. I ride mostly in the city (Sydney) and the Hunter has served me well for the last year and a bit. Thanks again.

@@danielthomas8456 The Bullet does well in town as well and certainly turns heads. I imagine the Hunter is tailor made for that kind of riding. Good luck with your test ride and decision.
