I hope you are all having a fantastic day! Stay tuned for the 2nd part of my hunt at this location tomorrow. It's extremely hot and humid now here in Tennessee, so I'm using the down time to edit more videos and get loose ends wrapped up. I scheduled to have my 2nd oral surgery next week, which should hopefully be the last major one (and not as bad as the first one) I wanted to have it done in the middle of the summer while I wasn't doing much else except sit inside and suck up the AC. lol. Take care everyone! :)
What a nice hunt and nice finds! Cool train Depot, they have one here in old Sacramento at a musuem! They have a bunch of old Steam trains and Diesel trains. They show you how it was like for employees back then. How railroads were formed and connected. Lots of history!
Hey JD, i hv had you on my detecting list for sometime now but hadnt watched more the a cpl of your videos. today i finally had time n wanted to say, when i saw your first videos, for such a young guy, you hv a lot of coin knowledge. its sweet to hv found someone that was much like myself.. sucks but doesn't. your awesome.. keep up the work n def try n get more youngsters in the digs. btw, If your wearing contacts vs glasses, you hv sweet eyes. sincere/endearing. tho i def understand sunglasses n reg glasses if you need them 😁😁
I think I'm going to bring it back. Since my channel exploded as a coin platform with the 1943 penny video getting 6 million views, I've been getting an ever increasing amount of requests to add the values in. At the least give more pricing verbally in the video when I don't have the time to edit still shots in. :)
Good luck with the 2nd part of your oral surgery! I hope you recover fast! Thanks for posting this video, I need to make sure I hunt under those Magnolia trees!
JD.... When you rub the dirt encrusted coins I get a sharp pain behind my eye..... PLEASE get a spray bottle with water! ;) Great video as always.... thanks for all you do!
I just moved to Clarksville and gave the Parks and Rec department a call only to discover that NO metal detecting digging is allowed in ANY park in this huge area. I guess I'll have to work up the nerve to pound on a stranger's door to get permission to hunt on private land. What a bummer (!!)
I haven't compared it to other detectors on the channel. But I've been using it for almost 2 years now. It's superb for looking around old houses. It performs great on relics and coins with the fast processor and incredible sensitivity, but because of this, you will dig more iron also. So I don't recommend it if the only places you hunt are trashy public areas. It's lighter than most other detectors and easy to swing, which is a huge plus in my book since I have shoulder issues. You'll lose about 2" on deep coins compared to a premier coin shooting detector like the Minelab E-Trac. Every detector has it's pros and cons, and uses for specific conditions. The T2 is my favorite "grab and go" detector.
I have been detecting for about 2 months now and bought one about a month ago and love it. Found a 10k gold ring with a small diamond on Monday night...I really like to watch videos which feature the T2. Thanks!
Why doesn't my 1850's house provide any coins other than quite a few pennies (including a Canadian penny) and 2 nickels? Maybe all old/silver coins have been found... Edit: also the find at 2:30 is the same as something I found in my yard but a different design on it but I don't know what they are supposed to be though. :/
Hey kiddo! Just wanted to tell you something I was thinking in the first part of your video. I would be so proud to have a son like you,, I'll bet your mom is! Keep hunting! :)
i got coins of 10 centavos old mexican peso, i always collecting coins old mexican peso with my safe box, but i only i have year 1940, 1945, and 1946. i don't have 1936 coin.
First time I ever looked at your videos and probably the last. Total click bait. What INCREDIBLE old coins and silver did you find. A couple rosie's and a merc. I'm not trying to nag on ya but if you think those are ' incredible ' and you spelled it in CAPS. Just be honest and don't overstate things. It is what it is, be more upfront and don't oversell.

What happened to your bottom lip? Did you get hit with a basketball or is it just a trick of light and shadow? It looks swollen. Hope you're okay.
Nothing wrong with my lip that I know of. Must be a shadow. =P
Well, that's good. Best of luck with the latest round of surgeries.
JD's Variety Channel hey jd you didnt hunt this again i already watched these clips of the driveway but its still cool to watch
Variety Vlogger ,he explained all about it in the beginning of this video.

The buffalo nickel is a sweet find. That coin had not been in circulation long when it was lost. The date is incredibly clear. Thanks.
Its so hot, im staying away from nice lawns as to not kill the grass. videos like this really make it hard to stand by and not dig away
Some lovely old finds there well done

That was awesome
Nice hunt Jon. Beautiful suspender clip and a stunning buffalo nickel. Still nothing better than the milky white color of a buried silver coin.

Great video! I just discovered your channel and recognized the roads. That's the town I love in. Small world after all! Keep up the great work.
Nice hunt, JD
Love the Buffalo Nickel. Bet you didn't know the name of the Buffalo. Black Diamond was his name. He was a resident of the Bronx Zoo.
Bravo!!!
I have followed you for a long time now and like your show very much, keep it up!!!!
New subscriber here. Nice finds congrats
Keep videos coming
I really like how you added the value of the coins in this video! You should bring that back. Makes the finds more intriguing and makes you want more.

Hey JD, have you ever done a review/test of the T2?

JOE!!!!!! Suspenders clip?
Yep. It's a suspender clip. And I was right saying the bird was a heron. I think that's also the name of the manufacturer if I remember correctly.
JD's Variety Channel interesting, thanks.
