JD is 29 years old...happy birthday! i got lots of lead, copper lines, brass..and one little 925 silver ring today. Yesterday, i got a 30 year anniversary Ford V8, 1903-1933 Token...really nice shape...my second one.

Hey jd happy bday man,I look forward to all of your vids and a few others including aquachiggers.i dont get to go out metal detecting as much as I want, but I'm always jealous watching you have fun. I live in the dc metro area( falls church va) and have found some really cool relics from civil war in the area.... Ahhh maybe in the spring I can take it up a notch, maybe even take some vids....

A clad coin is a coin that has multiple layers of metal in it. Most current U.S. clad coins consist of an inner core of copper, with outer layers of a silver-colored nickel-copper alloy. In short, since 1965, US coins have been virtually worthless. Pennies used to be 95% copper, and dimes and higher denominations 90% silver.

You must be in a area where their isn't much frost...ice will push the coins up
Most coins found around here are 3-4 inches
In urban lawns around here most old coins are only 1-3" deep. It's because the soil down here in Tennessee is predominantly dense, red clay, they just don't sink very far.
