Just thought I would stop and brag on Bruce for a minute for something he did for my buddy Michael. Bruce selflessly took his tellahandler over to his house after the storms and helped pick Michaels collapsed garage off of my buddy’s vehicles and boats and pulling truck… thank your Bruce for being a genuine human being even without promoting your good doing to the rest of the world i and many ppl like me appreciate you!
@@masterbates7016 well I watch em anyway buddy it’s not always about extortion to make a extra dollar bruce hasn’t even mentioned that he hauled his machine over there wasted his fuel in his truck and his resources and time to help a a guy in need out
That's awesome. Love to hear of a TH-camr helping and not having to promote himself for doing a good deed. That's why I've always watched and been a sub. Keep it up brotha!
I don't care how old these old school trucks are or how much they are wrecked or how dead they are, once you jump them, they still look and sound better than any newer truck they have on the road today. Nice truck, btw.
This is how I started EMD, Cummins Detroit ,cat . Operators would run out of fuel . So I rigged up 12 v and 24 v electric fuel pumps would break into fuel line n charge up transfer pump . Start in 10 mins or less . Operators were pissed at having to go back to work . This worked just great
Holy crap man bring a flippen battery with you so you don’t have to run back and forth to that gah dang jump box I’m gettin pissed for you can’t focus on the motor because you have to go running back to the dam box because it times out lol I get so pumped watching this 😅
PT pumps that have sat for a while, lost prime, or are new/empty of fuel need to have the inlet gear pump primed to suck fuel from the tank. A good squirt of lube into the pump inlet will do just that. This one would require removing the filter from the housing to spray directly into the gear pump inlet. Once that's done, it doesn't take long for it to self prime and fire. Priming the pump like you did works great and will stay running if the gear pump isnt dry.
I’m sorry I forgot to comment on The video where you give them truck drivers money you got a big heart and helping people out. After the hurricane and this was a good will it start video keep them coming I like them my friend
Peterbilt 359 + Big Cam Cummins is just about as good as it gets. I love old semi trucks, and nothing sounds better to me than a savage turbo diesel with straight piped exhaust and a screaming turbo
These "will it start" videos got me thinking, why there is so much abandoned trucks in Florida 🤔? In here Finland allmost all old trucks are scrapped after those days at work are over.
Man, I gotta say when that Cummins finally roared to life, I swear that was the best roar of a diesel engine iv ever heard. I love seeing old workhorses from back in the day come back to life. Keep up the awesome vids Bruce!! 😀 Edit: The past few vids with all the drama never stopped me from loving this channel. I hope all the haters go pound sand *it’s a joke*
@Bruce Wilson next time you when you are doing your video of these start-up videos can you please go into detail of where you hook up and where you test and why you specifically do what you're doing, i guess what i am saying is i want to know is the science and engineering behind every step...especially on a car or truck pretty please
Hello, Bruce & good 4u,, ur back 2 will it start videos & all the manual labor that comes with it..... & is one of the only reasons I became a subscriber 2 ur channel!!!
& its truly because it shines yur true talents ✨️ 😉 & yur passion 4 good old iron trucks ..... & new is nice & every thing ,,but old is true history!!!
Still blattin' about that B.S., all this real important shit im the world going on, even really bad shit in Florida and thats the best shit you people can be bichin and jealous off, but your still watching this dipshit just like me
Most likely its an 1985 because many ole' school trucker would put "Class Of " on the hoods of trucks with the year the truck was made....on the hood it said Class Of 85
You should buy the needle nose and take it straight to the crusher just to piss off the haters. Most of those trucks have been rode hard and put up wet. They are ran into the ground and have little or nothing left to give. For anyone that feels so bad about these old wrecks rotting away Go buy one and restore/store it. See how much it’s costs you. 😂
An old mechanic told me once to use WD 40 as starting fluid on diesels, burns just as good as eather but lubricants the cylinders instead of drying them out.
Haha! What does Bruce say at every will it start? I should've wore jeans! Bruce, put some jeans in your will it start kit so you'll always have jeans to throw on.
Hey Bruce been watching you forever. Honestly the channel went from will it starts for sure but also had the greatest element of rescuing then fixing old rigs. I know you don't have the time or even the right sort of bent for rescuing these old rigs as you defeat the idea before you start.... I get it as you're doing tractor stuff and running the new rigs [way more expensive than modernizing an old rig with rear clips and new air works and whatever else the old girls need. Perhaps Aaron your brother may want to put together a crew who could be in charge of saving these old rigs in project series? Actually get somebody to quarterback a few guys who can transplant a new motor they could rebuild as an in frame project and Multi part series. Have the project videos for that team to put up on this channel while you continue to wheel and deal the tractor stuff and drive. Because spitting on these old rigs and laughing at them... you know the frames in most cases with these trucks are in real nice shape aside from some surface rust. That old 73 cabover you did the two part start up on... You could drop a Cat in there ore big 400 Cummins... in framing those motors isn't so bad to do. Spending 800 to 900 thousand on new trucks when 30 thousand can get you a recueld old truck with all new parts and rebuilt motor like that old Cat 3406... You just need a crew to do that and film it. You tuck a dump on that old Kenny and it was easy enough to see where you were coming from with it.... but man, guys are making new trucks from old trucks and sending them down the road with little to no problems. Just takes the time to do it and just not taking no for an answer. Showing the job who's boss. It's fun to watch the new truck experience and the time and effort it saves... but saving money... nah... lol Those new rigs are INSANELY over top price wise. Way more money than sending and old rig with new brakes, wheel seals, bearings, wiring harness, rebuilt motor, new Sleeper even and probably a rear clip and generator for overnight runs... Gentry, James Pretty, Twinstick Garage, the 379 that Peterbilt Mike is doing right now... It's a winning formula and delivers the goods content wise. Even if you fix them up then sell them for whatever profit or have a trucking company with trusted drivers to job the old [really new after the project] trucks for the company. That's a win win. You've proven you can find these old gems... so find them then get a crew to rebuild them ground up and put them back to work. Great for youtube and probably way cost effective for your new trucking company. You don't like that kind of work and find the engine inframe work intimidating... so get a crew to work those projects that are willing to do that work. Makes sense right? See if Aaron and a couple of guys can organize and do that. Don't have to be Mr. Personality laugh grabbers, just capable workers who can smile whild they work and enjoy the work. I really don't see why not? These old trucks are worth the Restomod touch you guys can give them. TH-camrs will eat that up!

What year is the truck
Hey buddy glad you got threw the bad weather thank you for helping the other truck with the fuel hope you an family are doing great buddy
Hi Bruce, glad you're back to 'Will it Start Videos?'. It's what you do best. That truck really is a 'Diamond in the Rough'. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Happy you’re doing fine from the hurricane and your back doing the will it start videos

I love these will it start content!! They don't make all this old timer stuff like they use to anymore which sucks. Keep up the good work team!
I still searching you in youtube after corna 🥰🥰
Great work bud, it's so genuine of to help those lower ops with fuel. God bless you

Love these will it start type videos. Just something about them.
Glad you found this beast! This truck has life left!!
Would love to see a video how to. Maybe a checklist of what to try checking to get old engines running.
Great video presentation. Keep up the excellent work Mr. Bruce.
Bro the alternator off that truck killing your jump boxes
Peterbilt 359 + Big Cam Cummins is just about as good as it gets. I love old semi trucks, and nothing sounds better to me than a savage turbo diesel with straight piped exhaust and a screaming turbo
390 big block sounds better. Coyote is close to as good.
Great video Bruce it was running for a short bit "Will it start " Yes it did start!
These "will it start" videos got me thinking, why there is so much abandoned trucks in Florida 🤔? In here Finland allmost all old trucks are scrapped after those days at work are over.
You got it started so it counts!!
The door panel on the will start truck in this video had a sweet stitch pattern on it !
ABSOLUTELY----> OUTSTANDING!!!!. 🙂

Says Class of 83 on hood. Gonna do will it start , need the panther piss.
Nice to see someone use a remote start
Good morning from hurricane ravaged Sarasota Florida. Hope you didn't get hit as bad as we did
I remember Frankie when he was a little kid selling Corvette parts.
Could the "Class of 85" shown on the hood tell ya what year it is??? 😂😂😂
Yeah 85 is what year it is Bruce is blind
Waawww...amazing. The car like that, can maked e life. Well done Mr Bruce
Crazy how many of these trucks are left with the windows down
on the front it says class of 85
Diesel....starting fluid? Isn't that the most important tool in your arsenal ??..... keep it up, love the posts!!
Nice , especially a 359 take good care of it
I know most of them are sitting around in junkyards shame
I have the same jump box for work. Start like 15-20 trucks a day on the same charge
Just use chalk paint it will start
LoL.
Still blattin' about that B.S., all this real important shit im the world going on, even really bad shit in Florida and thats the best shit you people can be bichin and jealous off, but your still watching this dipshit just like me
Flatten the tires it will be good
Urgent care is the one that will definitely have to get up
Hard work to starts old truck 🚛
Cosby in a can!? Dang Bruce. We’re not all bad 😂
Actually, didn't sound too bad those Cummins are beasts
Hey Bruce look at hood it says class of 83 I think so it's probably an 83 is usually what class of means
Great, & very successful video bruce!!
Should have a decent amount of will it starts sadly around the florida area.
Great WIT video as always.
Was that dye in that fuel?
Could be if it was a off-road use truck.
Keep ‘‘em coming.
Go easy on the starting fluid! And the starter staying engaged is due to low voltage😊
Congratulations Bruce
Is the359 and the 51 model for sale?
It's that starter solenoid cause mine was doing that so I changed the solenoid it starts like a new starter
Good video! Maybe you've pulled it out somehow and took it to the shop! Sounds like needs some repairs done ✔️ 🤔
You can manualy over ride the fuel shut off solenoid by the little screw out the bottom of it👍
That truck is a 1985 it says it right on the hood Class of 85. I use to have a 86 model but it had a cat and it was a long hood with twin sticks
That was someone's first truck class of 85 written on the hood bet they'd love to see it
As always great content man hope your doing well
Great job Bruce!
Nice job sir 🌹
Officer Dougal 👮♀️ just called and said you better start that damn truck before the kenworth drivers find you
i have a question one if your will it start is there one point that first try it start?
Most likely its an 1985 because many ole' school trucker would put "Class Of " on the hoods of trucks with the year the truck was made....on the hood it said Class Of 85
there is at least 3 corvettes sitting there, i would love to have just one of them.
You should buy the needle nose and take it straight to the crusher just to piss off the haters.

They are ran into the ground and have little or nothing left to give.
For anyone that feels so bad about these old wrecks rotting away
Go buy one and restore/store it. See how much it’s costs you. 😂
You have been wanting a challenging one
Have you ever started any of the trucks in the dead of winter, assuming Florida gets snow? Or at least somewhere in the minus degree?

Dude, you got more guts than me wearing shorts. Poison ivy, ticks and stickers lol
Bruce undo that nut on the pump and put diesel in the pump that's how you prime those
I believe that that Pete was an 85 because it said class of 85 on the hood
He held the button because you instructed to hold...lol
Need one of those shaker siphons.
Can’t wait to see the blue collar build
FYI WD40 makes great starting fluid
