- Welp, skittle month ended, but this channel will keep enduring. I'm happy to say that June was our most profitable month! Mainly because we uploaded 9 videos throughout it which is above our usual average, but it may also be due to the fact we had some Inside Out content (which is very popular atm) ALSO I want to let you all know that I will be making videos on Inside Out 2 but I am waiting to get my hands on a HD version (because y'all deserve the best)

I would’ve prefer it if she was actually more evil? The trailers were constantly telling us how mermaids were evil this time, so maybe making her actually feel more like a villain might be more fun. The nice way she’s acting here feels a bit too nice to the point it doesn’t feel fake at all.😅

The movie could have worked if Nerissa and Chelsea were two separate characters rather than the same person. Certainly would have been more interesting, Chelsea and Ruby had a fun dynamic
Definitely! If Chelsea and Nerissa were different characters, it could've made Chelsea's character more interesting, because she'd be conflicted between doing her mother's bidding, and being a good 'person' (see what i did there?).
That was literally the plan until very late in production. I can’t believe they just up and changed their minds so far into the game, all so they could make this film a full-blown cliche storm. I mean it’s a fun cliche storm but still

Exactly. Would it have been so hard for the movie to end with ruby managing to convince Chelsea to let go of her vengeance and making peace with her grandma? It would have been nice to see grandmama finally come to her senses seeing this kid being effected by her treatment of the mermaids and the conflict in general
They spend all the movie building a lesson about how wrong it is to vilanize an entire group of people based on who they are just to do an 180° in the last 15 minutes and basically justify the racism of the Kraken against the Mermaids. Terrible message for kids just for the sake of subverting expectations. The fact that the trailers spoiled the whole movie doesn't help
True. Not to mention the concept of the mermaid queen being Chelsea’s mother would’ve been a better twist as it would show two distinct characters from one another and their dynamics with the other main cast.
95% of the movie is doing a thing, and the last 5% just throwing it all away

Despite what everyone says about this movie, Chelsea/Nerissa became one of my favorite characters! Even though it was just a disguise she was very convincing as a teenage girl.
The movie would’ve been amazing if Chelsea wasn’t the villain to be honest. I saw the trailer once and immediately knew she was the villain. I still love her though. She’s an icon.

it's the way chelsea actually looked distraught for a second when ruby told her how she struggled all her life to fit in, while chelsea fit in with absolutely no issues. even though this is a cover for the antagonist, there was some real potential to see the two become closer friends
