I absolutely loved Princess Peach in this movie. I mean, she was willing to help Mario save his brother from almost being killed rather than just easily ignoring and turning him down, expressing kindness to Cranky Kong convincing him for his army to help stop Bowser despite being almost rejected until Mario stepped in for a deal to battle Donkey Kong, and also taking the responsibility of defending her kingdom as well as her people. Prime example of an amazing character

This is one of my main issues with the Mario Movie. They made Peach like Daisy's personality she didn't feel like the feminine soft and feminine Princess Peach we know in love. Peach's original character was "Kindness is her strength" she fought with kindness and she was a badass and she could fight when she wanted to. But she choose to defeat her enemies with kindness she was that and she was great. Feminine, sweet, didn't like to fight physically and loved being a pretty pink princess. Nowadays they like to see characters like Peach and view them as if her femininity is bad or seen as weak or not badass. Like Kristen once said in an interview I think there's beauty in being soft and kindhearted no matter what in a world that tried to break you, I'm not saying being a badass warrior princess is bad but there's beauty in femininity as well and there was nothing bad about Peach being a pretty pink princess.

Peach was always the character I chose in the games as a kid. Seeing her brought to life in the movie made my inner child so happy.
