Yeah when he's mad it's either he was told to act or those people are just that bad. Remember, they aren't kids to be taught gently, they are supposed to be professional chefs serving food to actual customers yet they serve unhygienic raw food, poison, or whatever

I just love love love seeing Gordon cooking with his kids...even if the clips are 10 years old. It warms my heart and makes me so happy with the bonus of great recipes... if only he didn't leave it up to us to guess quantities of ingredients. Forget where's the lamb sauce, where's the quantities of flour and sugar? He's still my favourite chef though.

Anything Gordon makes will impress anyone. I mean, have you seen his scrambled eggs? So simple but very impressive 😍
I used to make American style scrambled eggs, but when I found his recipe, I've never made any other kind. They're so creamy, I absolutely love them.
his recent series about scrambled eggs all over the world has changed how I look at eggs . As he says "I have elevated the lowly egg"
I made that for my husband and he absolutely love it
I tried his scrambled egg recipe once and it was too creamy for me. It didn't even feel like they were fully cooked because of the consistency

for the granita, I suggest this recipe, by weight:
1 part lemon juice;
2 parts sugar;
3 parts water.
Bring to a boil water with sugar (along with the zest of all the lemons used - you need that flavor), and then cool it down. Add the lemon juice and freeze for an hour or so. For the creamiest granita, use an immersion blender to really break down the ice crystals and incorporate air. Then, an hour before serving, you could add the chopped basil (or you could add some when boiling the water and the sugar).
