Oh my goodness, jewel painting is literally my childhood. I did those all the time as a kid. Plus, reading is my favourite thing of all time. I have so many freaking books in my room. I agree, if you dont like reading you haven't found the right book. AND LEGO'S. Im literally writing this comment as you speak and every single thing you mention is amazing.
