    That whole talking on the phone while walking is spot on, you become much less situationally aware!

    I lived in the Southern part of Guayaquil and never had a problem, there are parts in the south and north that you don’t want to go to.

    NOOOOOOOOOO! That was too short. I never get enough of watching you vids. Great info, I'm hoping to visit in the coming months, so, knowing what parts of Guayaquil to avoid is quite helpful even if I only plan to stay a few days due to it just being a landing point. Thinking of heading to Salinas, I've watched a couple of your beach videos on other area, I'll have to rewatch though to clue into best area to visit. I'm not committed to any particular area at the moment, I want to do part of my time in a beach area and part in an area like Cuenca to cool off. Thanks for all you very informative, well done, videos.

    Thanks for the peanut allergy/food tip! I'm planning on visiting next year, I have noticed they use peanuts in some dishes, but I probably would not have guessed they would pair it with seafood. Excellent advice!!!!!

    It’s so true everything it’s right on point!!! I was born in Guayaquil and by experience even wearing earrings can cost you someone to grab your earrings pull them from your ears and run away with it, then you will have lots of blood and will need to go to visit a doctor or hospital if the bleeding is not stopping etc etc, so be mindful that the less you wear the safer you can be in there

    Thanks for always giving us the heads up. Being born in the Caribbean I've always felt a kinship with people from tropical regions. Even in NYC where I grew up I felt comfortable around latinx people cause alot of the foods we ate were the same and alot of the games we played were the same. I feel at home in latin culture

    Some say the water is potable in Cuenca.

  • @erickcandellcruz9114
    @erickcandellcruz9114 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Tap water is actually potable, specifically in cities like Quito and Cuenca, you can actually drink tap water and cook with it!!... Guayaquil in the northern part tap water is potable... I don't know where and from who you got that wrong information... I'm from Guayaquil and I always drink tap water and I've never gotten sick for doing it

      What up... The women in Guayaquil are very friendly and approachable. I wasn't there for long, so I didn't go hard at trying to meet women like that.

    As a Ecuadorian inhabitant my tip for tourist it's DO NOT COME to Ecuador 🇪🇨 there's no public security at all.

    • @robbienorton9522
      @robbienorton9522 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is plenty of security but there is also a lot of crime. Not recommended for people that have not lived in a latin american country before. Quito on the other hand is safe if you stay around centro norte and centro historico. Zero issues there. I don't recommend Guayaquil to anyone that has not been to places like Bogota, Acapulco, Mexico City, Tijuana etc.
