    Very good video, I’m actually Ecuadorian and been leaving in New Jersey for the past 33 years , I’m actually moving back to Ecuador this year, with my wife and 2 kids(been there on vacation couple times on this 33years). I know the country is going through some tough times now, but I still believe in my country and I still think my kids can have a better education and a better life on Ecuador, everything over there is more calm and more family oriented, which is what I want for my family. God bless you and your family

    Gracias por promocionar a nuestro país. La renta en Quito es cara, for example nearby the Carolina Park, our upper Manhattan , lol, can cost usd 1.000 , 1bed apt. My guess is that at least usd 2.000 per person per month is what senior citizens need to live a confortable life. With the whole healthcare crisis in the USA, it is an excellent deal to pay usd 2.000 month per person in ec. Healthcare in ec is top- notch.

    Greetings. I do not speak Spanish. How would fair trying to live there?

    • @TheJazzyNation1
      @TheJazzyNation1  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I would say you need a basic knowledge of Spanish to feel comfortable. At least I felt like that for myself and my husband needed the language for work.

    I couldn't keep track of the numbers you cited, it looks like you live in a very high life style. I wonder what the monthly cost would be for one person to live as you do? Of course, my lifestyle by choice is less expensive here in the US. and would be I imagine even less in Ecuador. As far as the investments go, I know one can get very high returns on CDs in Ecuador, but can you take the money out of Ecuador? Thanks for any advise.

    Wow..that's he first I've heard of "country issued centavo (cent) coins".
    How does that work??🤯
    I just assumed they were using US coinage as well. 🤔

    • @TheJazzyNation1
      @TheJazzyNation1  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The coins are in denominations of 1, 5, 10, 25 and 50 centavos and are identical in size and value to their U.S. cent counterparts.

    You , spend that much because you must eat specialty groceries, if you go to the mercado you will find affordable vegetable and fruits and grains and all that,you are not spending on rent , so you are spending on food that you want to eat which it will be specialty, cost of living in Ecuador is low compared to the states yes , i believe that if you go more local you will see the difference

      I watched a other video where atheynwere complaining about how expensive and rare coconut milk is in the grocery in Ecuador . When they bought a piece of land in Olon, it had coconut trees on it and they realized...Oh, people are just getting it from their own yard. 😂😂

    Not sure how relevant her experience as a State Department employee's spouse is for normal people looking to either work or retire in Ecuador. She's not living on the economy and she has a huge support support system that is not available to the average person. Her comment on finding a company to sponsor your stay there is ridiculously naive. Quoting costs from sources easily found in a ten second google search doesn't really add any value.

      @user-vd8zw6lt3g she didn't say it wasn't factual. She said it was harsh. I think she is not saying your comment had lies in it and unfactual. She is saying that she thinks you could have said the same thing but in a more polite way.
