Why would he try it again? This is clearly a not well thought out map. Even without the composter, he still has too many blocks. Also, he could just cheese everything to the end once he got the fire resist and the bucket and used lava.
I think that the lava fall goes up to the strider. Maybe you needed to use the saddle while looking up. That way you could ride the strider and save blocks.
I feel like you could even have saved way more blocks if you needed to? 1. If you only use fire res after you get a bucket, can't you take the lave with you? Seems balanced ... 2. This is really annoying: Composter jump to height 2, put a block next to the composter at height 2, retrieve the composter. Composter jump to height 4, put a block next to the composter at height 4, retrieve the composter. Iterate.
Okay but what if milk created a source block that operated like water and the two buckets lets you make infinite milk? I mean you already have infinite thanks to the cow but still. To be clear I know you cannot currently use milk as a source block to swim in but I felt inspired by the sheer absurdity of milking the cow in this map? Why?
Can you pull items up to you with a fishing rod? That's what I was thinking. Get the rod, go to the start, and collect every item you can break with a fist.

Yes but I think it's fun seeing how optimized you can make it
i think he's set such a high standard for map creators that they need to do so much more testing before publishing their maps

Could have taken the lava under the strider using a bucket.
Could also have saved end rods going up over the hopper, break the lower and retrieve from hopper

this map had a shotgun blast strat for items it seems. Not very well thought out. still seemed fun though!
You should do a mod pack with ChosenArchitect. I think you two would mesh well.
