What happens if we use acid alcohol as the decolorizing agent in spore staining?
I dont think it would be a good idea because the alcohol might kill the bacteria. But the spores might survive and be stained. So theoretically it would work but I think only the endospores might be left.

Sir what if we use crystal violet as counterstain? Is it necessary that only Gram -ve bacteria form endospores?
Might overpower the malachite green
