    Until I saw your reply to one of the viewer's question on where to get those caps - you never ever mentioned what those caps are for originally nor where you got them!! Could have been so much better if you just think what your viewers would need and give them the information!!!

    I make a bubble of silicone on the tip and back about 1/2 inch. If the silicone starts to cure back down the tip I can usually pull the whole thing out intact . Using your caps I'd push a little silicone out before I put the cap on .

    Screws work the problem is you gotta find the exact right size to small & it doesn't seal, to big & it messes up the track. it has to be just enough to go in but not enough to pull out. If you can find those rubber things it would be easier but its just as easy to use, hot glue, or a piece of tape. What are those little caps called & where do you get em?

    Nice. I'd like to find a way to preserve gasket sealer and other chemicals that come in tooth paste tubes. The caps always seem to crack and the contents leak or harden before I get a chance to use the rest of the tube.

    The amount of job sites ive been on and theres been tubes of silicone and liquid nails with screws rammed in there is unbelievable ive got rubber caps for mine they work alright somtimes dont seal to good and i end up throwing a tube out but most seal pretty damn good

    Haha I already do exactly this how funny. The only issue I find sometimes I miss place where I put the cap when I take it off to use the tube. But I guess the same would be said for the original cap or a screw anyways.

    haha been doing construction my whole life, and could never find a good way to keep tubes from drying out. I have those plastic covers too. definitely going to be using them in the future. thanks as always, great content

    I just take a piece of duct tape. Stick it on one side and fold it over and seal it done. No need for a bunch of rubber plugs you'll never find
