I'm mostly optimistic about them canceling, although it was concerning how far this show got with how much it wasn't working. What do you guys think about the news?

There's literally no reason for Marvel to NOT hire the old ABC/Netflix team.
Personally i don't want to see fisk for atleast 3 seasons.
After a whole season of struggle matt finally puts fisk behind bars in the final episode.
The first episode of new season:
Fisk: guess who's back..
True... But that's how it works in the comics too. Plus it's kinda of a soft reboot

What's the point of redoing if they just stick to the same storyline.
Just start it from scratch.
Disney just don't know what they are doing. Kill foggy? Are they out of their mind? Did they even watched the original show?
And why we need fisk again? We already saw fisk vs daredevil last season and season 1. How many times they redo this? And matt leaves his costume again?
Even s3 showrunner erik oleson knew that redoing fisk vs matt again is not good. His original s4 plan involves typhoid mary, owl.
It sounds so much better than the legal procedural. The show's name is daredevil. Not matt Murdock. It's like Spider-Man movie but it's just Peter Parker school life a rom com movie. Like wtf.
I've read the story leak of white tiger case and it's just so boring. In s3, matt went through a great character Arc and finally back together with foggy and Karen. I want the continuation of that.
Not the depression of loosing Foggy and leaving suit again.
Disney, you don't have a clue. Just hire Netflix writer's and sit back and let them cook ffs.

Yeah, I completely get your frustration 🫤 it's seemingly a huge downgrade. And you're right, the show is called Daredevil, although there should be a balance between his Matt Murdock and Daredevil life and it is annoying that they would immediately have him not suit up again, especially the reasoning being that Foggy is killed. But hopefully they realized these were part of the reasons why it didn't work and that the restart fixes all of it

disney did a deal with netflix . it wasnt disney making it. netflix had to make it to get streaming for it but disney was going to get credit which at the time probably sounded like a shit deal but jessica jones sort of made it obvious that might not be bad. sadly with disney doing the editing means the YMCA song scene with awkward dry humping in the homosex motorcade that runs over fisk to defeat him is not going to make the cut. yea whole season people would wonder whats this born again stuff he doesnt seem to have lost his faith in jesus then at the end he is a ghey
Daredevil is an awful superhero, not to mention boring. Why anyone would want to make a show about him is beyond me

There were already 3 amazing seasons about him
Three very bad drawn-out seasons that made me want to take a dump in my own hat just for watching the dumpster fire that was this show.
