This is an arcade, not a simulator
Do we care no
@@Cm45857 I do care. A flight simulator is a totally different thing.
Frankly this has to be one of the best and most polished games on Quest 3. I'm absolutely blown away with the excellent physics for the flight model, and the straight up fun. It's also visually super impressive in the headset. A 2d video doesn't cut it. Absolutely banger of a game and worth the price.
Give VTOL VR a go, and you'll be amazed. Even more with mods
@@rasgriz1233 I did. Its great but I have a major problem with the controls. I need to be able to use the thumbsticks for control (for reasons) and Vtol doesn't let me do that. Unless it's been changed. Its the only reason I don't play both.
Honestly, with correct hardware, nothing compares to DCS. This is great for a pickup and play game, though.
not even close to being the best or polished
This looks really good. I'm more of a fan of flying commercial airliners in vr just for relaxation until I meet my untimely demise in flames because I can never just make a boring landing. 😂
What game lets you fly commercial airliners?
@@prodigyNFL Nothing much other than simple planes if you're on standalone. If you have a gaming PC then there's plenty of sims. I use X-plane 11.
If it makes you feel better, I’m a professional pilot and I struggle to land commercial planes in home flight sims.
@@tomgillotti If it makes you feel better, I'm a professional pilot and I struggle to land commercial planes at real airfields. I'm thankful Boeing recommended me for the job anyway
@@VGLounge 🤣
crazy how it runs so good on native quest, great game
With those simple clownish graphics? there is nothing crazy about how good it runs on the Quest...
@@mitcherny6965 looks like most games this not Microsoft flight sim
@@mitcherny6965 Exactly, the blocks (I mean graphics) don't even have much personality. The aircraft lack oomph in every department. Vr can be so much more but it just ain't there yet and accepting more mediocre shite won't help matters. The delusion is strong.
man, you stuck a nerve on PC boys. It looks great and I need no screaming loud hot 80s beige box, let alone a clown one with neon patterns to be tweaked to no end until it runs old 2015 sims well enough. That's all that matters...
@@ChesterMeadows Tell me you have never used VR before without telling me you've never used VR LOOOOOOOOL. The game looks fantastic in the headset. The trolls are out in full force I see.
There's a free demo on Steam.
I have to try this!! Thanks 😊
Will definitely be getting this. If the helicopter controls are anything like VTOL VR then I'm going to be crashing left and right lol
It’s really tough but so rewarding when you nail it
Pretty fun game but (imo) the maps are too small for jets going that fast and it doesn't quite work out as well as it did with much slower planes. I think the WW1 game was probably the best overall, the WW2 one was the best looking/sounding, but this one really demonstrates the limits they're under. They need to either update their engine so it has MUCH bigger maps, or maybe create their own sci-fi version of WW1/2 with slower vehicles and more VR interactions, VTOLVR style. In my opinion anyways, I own all three games and I played the WW1 game the most by far.
This looks like something I would really enjoy. I'm getting it . Thanks for the discount code
That’s a plane right there
Great game. I have all the warplane games. WW1 version is my fav
Yes. I really love the WWI version.
The physics and aerodynamics is elementary at best. It can't really be called a flight sim.. But more an arcade flight shooter.
But it's fun.
Works with hotas?
I hope there's a decent player base for pvp, might have to grab this soon.
They said hopefully as it gets more popular
You should do an updated breachers vr review - there’s a competitive mode now and many new maps
Hopefully down the road, maybe Quest 4 or 5 they’ll start introducing accessories like Hotas flight controllers ,
Steering wheel, pedals, etc. When I first bought my PC just to play PCVR and I bought a G923 set up I was immediately hooked. Hopefully people that play stand alone will have that option at some point.
A Bluetooth steering wheel would be most welcome
We're going to need some way to connect them, cause we can't really just hook a big fat USB cable to the headset. All the wheels I've had have extremely unsuited cables for connecting to a headset. Not just that, almost none of them are USB c. I think it's unlikely that we'll get any wheel support unless it's wireless.
The cable for my T-GT 2 is thicc and super heavy duty.
I think the option for them to buy a PC is there... lol...
iv been playing this for a wile love it
Sorry I couldn't quite get all the words said because of reasons but how do you control the plane? Is it like you tilt each controller as a yoke or just pressed the buttons or what? Thanks
It’s plays as a sim. You hold the virtual stick in the cockpit and use all the buttons and levers in combination with some button presses
@@GAMERTAGVR Ah cool.
Looks pretty good! Any chance to see it on PSVR2? 😅
It’s pretty good, right now though the aircraft are limited, though they just added two new ones
Game looks pretty good.... Will be sure to give it a try at some point....
Sweet LSB bro
This looks great man
The ww1 version definitly feels the most fun, thr ww2 version feels the most polished and complete. I haven't touched this version since the day of launch so idk if its been updated, but when i tried it, it felt VERY early access
This is the Disney version of VR MilSims!
How long before a Trains sim I wonder 🤔 could probably do a lot of detail since it would be on rails
Theres a fabulous one on PCVR called derailed
@@GAMERTAGVR
There's also "Densha de Go!! Hashirou Yamanote-sen" on PS4 that has a great VR mode for PSVR1. It didn't release outside of Japan but you can import it since it's not region locked. I would love a PSVR2 port thought!
I played it on applab and it was kinda rough. Is it greatly improved I wonder?
No roughness here for sure
@@GAMERTAGVR I'll give it a try👍
Good for those wanting a simpler more arcade experience. Not at all for those hard core flight sim folks like myself. I’ll stick to DCS and BMS. It’ll be nice to see what Microprose brings to the table now that they are making the next generation of Falcon 4.0. Hopefully, it stays true to the quality they used to bring with Falcon.
This looks a bit like flight sim on my 486 DX2 back in the days
I love to warplanes games, wish they had more players, but all of them are in my top 10 quest games of all time
Who needs this if we have vtol vr
Looks a heck of a lot like vtol vr; however, this game makes me confident in vr flight sims.
More ace combat than VTOL then.
Impressive for being native
Really is
I love flight sims, But most of them are so laggy unless you have some crazy cards. If you say the feel is there and frames are high. Id like to try this, but only on Quest? No PCVR link?
The game is available for download in the full version and as a DEMO on Steam.
@@michalpetrilak3976 Thanks so much :P
What would be de differences between this and VTOL VR? For me VTOL has been amazing. Would like to try this game if it provides a different swing for a vr flight sim experience.
The difference between VTOL and Air Corp is like the difference between Gran Turismo and Need for Speed.
Air Corp is fun, but the maps are simply too small for jets (imo) and the gameplay doesn't quite work as well as it did for WW1/2 planes. It's also very much still in early access so it could be improved greatly before release.
I have all three in the series, my only criticism on this game is how quiet your aircraft engines are, you fly past another aircraft and its nice and loud but somehow you just can't hear yours.
I noticed that. When he raised the gear it was way louder than the engines.
@@JimmyNuisance I hope it does get sorted in a patch as it would really add to the emersion
Coming from straight pcvr flight simulator Shooters this one's pretty good it's the only thing I wish it had are bigger Maps the maps are way too small with borders
Does this have the mig 21 fighter jet
Thanks GT. Looks great.
Cheers Ron! Have a great weekend
@@GAMERTAGVR You too GT, thanks.
how are the controls, that is the question?
Excellent and there’s multiple options
Is there any reason I can't find the game in the store?
Here ya go buddy www.oculus.com/appreferrals/Gamertag_VR/5014131998634540/?/&
@@GAMERTAGVR thank you 😊
it is like you ordered VTOL VR on wish
About to play right now. Played for the first time last night, it's incredible.
I certainly wouldn’t call it a sim. Maybe an arcade game at best, but not a sim.
Looks decent
The aircraft has virtually no stability and the physics regarding thrust and drag are way off. You can stall in a power off descent at a 45 degree angle of descent
Looks like I’m buying another sim on VR . Bought the first two .
This is far from a flight sim, it’s extremely arcadey. Ultrawings 2 is much closer to a sim when it comes to Quest native games,
This game isn't as good as VTOL VR (pc) which (for an arcade simulator) is much more immersive. Much steeper learning curve but it's way more satisfying when you finally master it.
VTOL isn't too steep for a sim, though pretty steep for a game. try DCS. Yikes.
Well... The steep learning curve is mostly for the weapons. Some of those weapons are definitely not intuitive.
Budget vtol vr
Try DCS before you say any flying games look good on Quest 3. Nothing better!
Challenge: do not use the word "honestly" in your next 10 videos
I can try for scripted videos
It gives me a lot of vertigo I couldn't play it
I love the series but these games are so VR uncomfortable. I’m not someone who gets VR sick easily but I am sensitive to this series.
If you have a pc get Vtol VR. If you don’t then I guess you have this.
VTOL VR all the way!!!
Wow... that's terrible looking. Think I'll play some much more intricate VTOL VR.
This looks horrible.
members only on last post. Na I'll pass. I unfollow people who do that shit.
What does that mean?
you cant find a better word than "unreal", for a video game? this looks dodgy, get dcs world.
Thing is you need a pc then vr then the seat table hotas your looking easily couple grand compared to what 500 quid headset?
i had it for a month now..never even tried it yet..guess i will now.
lol Your safe. You have a Marine riding co pilot! lol 🫡
