The exclusivity in VR games should not exist, it will do more harm than good I think. All the games should be across all platforms if the devs can make it happen.
Exclusives sell hardware, it's always been the case. Nintendo does it, PlayStation does it, and now Meta are doing it to sell the Quest 3.
When people say "there should be no exclusives in VR", I just look at Nintendo with their many, many exclusives and realise you have no idea what you're talking about.
I know how the market works, but you should never compare the flat gaming market with the VR one. A lot more difficult to get someone to buy or demo VR. That's why I said it should be open until it's more accepted as a medium or a gaming solution. I own all main headsets, PC, Meta and PSVR2.
If your argument is that you should never compare the VR market to the flat panel market, then you don't understand the market. There's lots of useful comparisons that can be drawn.

The day that the floating hands are finally addressed in most VR FPS games, is the day I get VR.
They need to figure out how arms work first. When the arm doesn’t follow my arm (every game) it is just as un-immersive as hands only

I’m also concerned about the Alien game. Designed to be played in short bursts is worrying enough, but it even has ‘Rogue’ in the title. I’m now a bit worried about Behemoth too, because it sounds like you said ‘it DID disappoint’? Played that bit several times to be sure. Might be my hearing though?
I played the open beta for zero car caliber two I will say what they’ve done is extremely impressive and what they can achieve on a quest two is quite impressive. I mean I came into zero caliber to a little skeptical on what how the game would be, but I’m very impressed genuinely.
Batman cutscenes look awesome. Cant wait for Alien, Metro, Wanderer, Behemoth, Zombie Army & my most anticipated game, Low-Fi, but also i cant waut for Capcom to announce Resident Evil 9 in VR cuz i got Playstation not Quest but hey to each thier own.
yo so im wondering if i should get a meta quest 3 cuz i want to get into vr but idk which version should i get the price is not a problem and i need to add that i bought a meta quest 3 when it lunched becouse i wanted to get into vr as well it was the 512 version and it was nice but when i was playing i got that feeling that i was getting further from the real world and i felt like it was wrong and i was living my live only in vr or something like that so i refunded it and now i want your opinion on what to do

A new report from Android Central suggests Sony are winding down PSVR2 support and only have 2 games in development which is disappointing to read but not sure how much truth is in that and it's 2 more than I knew about.
I think VR is still in its infancy and we've had some amazing experiences over recent years and some great games on the way for all platforms 😎🤘🏻
Yeah we need to stay positive. Sony will be back one day when the likes of Nintendo get invovled

FIREWALL ULTRA should have come to ps+ and more PS5 flat games like Returnal, GOW, TLOU, Spiderman & Sackboy should have got hybrid modes!
London Studios should have been working on a VR2 Worlds demo (to promote the headset) and they should have done a deal to bring HL ALYX across as well as porting more PSVR games like Rescue Mission, Wipeout, Blood & Truth and Farpoint!
Infancy? You do recall this current run of VR we are on started in 2012 and it has ended in mobile phone / Wii motion games rather than quality Virtual Reality content. The big AAA developers dumped VR after PSVR1 as there wasn't enough sales on a platform that had 10 million headsets vs the PSVR2's 1 million. Sadly I think VR probably has to go away for a while and come back in another 10+ years. The content has become stilted and unappealing.
@@Reprogrammed_By_SEGA if it went away completely then millions of headset owners would have no new games, even if they are developed by indie studios. In 10 years I think headsets will be much smaller and will appeal to more people and the big studios will be more involved but we all have to support the industry now imo

Yeah, immersion and atmosphere don't really seem to be compatible with online multiplayer. Even with judicious use of the mute button.
Just picked up quest 3 512 refurb… pretty pumped for the upgrade. And now having psvr2 and quest 3 options available. Exciting times for a vr nerd

@@liquidtruth7954 I don’t really care about the graphics, especially since it’s unlikely that it will look worse than Batman on the standalone Quest 3.
for example, red 2 has excellent graphics, but as a game it is dull, with simple gameplay.
while in the Burst demo there are a lot of cool mechanics and driving gameplay. and I prefer gameplay
You know I thought so for the most part too but after forcing myself to take chunks out of ronin but never being able to get into it and finally deleting it because the graphics were so disappointing I’ve found they do matter to me quite a lot

GUYS I HAVE AN IMPORTANT QUESTION should it get the quest 3
a few things have happened like Sony have pulled PSVR2 production.
Zombie army was an instant buy for me, until they announced it's only 2 player coop. What a massively stupid decision. Ive wanted this game in VR since the first rift, and now that it's coming, it's been ruined before it ever came out.
Man throw in a Destiny VR/Helldiver VR/DRG VR and we're set! why game companies ain't making these!
I was gunna get blade and sorcery for quest 3 but if its releasing for psvr2, imma wait
Blade n Sorcery (imo) is one of those games where you really do need to be wireless (with plenty of space) to enjoy it to the fullest. I got Hellsweeper on psvr2 and I regret that I didn't get it on Quest instead, just cause the wire kept taking me out of the game and I couldn't move around freely like I was used to in BnS. (also I really don't like sweating in my psvr2, but on Quest it can't hurt anything at all)
Food for thought, either way though, the game kicks ass and the 1.0 version looks like a blast.
@@jessekoepp3928 i understand i wont be able to play to its fullest because i sit down when i play vr anyways. If it was psvr1 i would completely get it but i can absolutely tolerate one wire. I really just want them sweet psvr2 graphics and from what i understand the developers are very good. So i am positive if they are doing a psvr2 port they would implement haptic feedback, headset rumble, adaptive triggers, hdr, maybe even eye tracking but that dynamic foveated rendering will come in handy. For those reasons i prefer waiting for psvr2 but i understand some vr games are better played on standalone vr headsets like quest

Metal Hellsinger VR looks to be the pick of the bunch, and Metro Awakening looks cool. I don't like exclusives, as in Batman Arkham Shadow on Meta Quest 3, I think this is a horrible practice, especially when the don't make Quest headsets that suit a 75mm IPD.
Alien, Behemoth, and the other games looks pretty good.
Start saving those pennies now, you're gonna need'em.

My only complaint is that developers really need to start realizing that we need more options in the comfort and controls area.
I play mostly seated unless its golf....that should definitely be a option to stand or sit
I don't like being forced to look down at my hips or waist just to grab a weapon or reload.
Give us the option to reach over our shoulder at least.
Wearing a headset for hours should be comfortable, not forced..
I have 253 games on my Quest, but i haven't even played a lot of them because they just are uncomfortable in some way or another.
Im just spitting some frustrations ..... I'm still all in for VR tho 😁

I don't have a problem with an aliens game to be played in short bursts. lots of polls suggest thats how gamers are currently consuming VR anyway.
Which is why most games that come out currently, are short experience crap.

honestly pretty much everything here looks disappointing to me. aotherthan maaaybe the batman game, but i duno is that even in engine footage or is it pre rendered, need to se more. blade and sorcery officially releasing was incredible. but the game was already great like 6 years ago :P now its a proper game but we knew it would be great already. but like....how have we not had anything like half life alyx since it was released.... call of the mountain at least looks fantastic. but like. an actually well rounded, full game that looks amazing and actually utilizes VR to the 'fullest' in like 10 years of VR its just constant little experiences that seem to miss the mark in one way or another.
Into the radius 2 is not coming 2024, it's coming late 2025
I think they are doing an early access sometime this year with a full release next year.
If all these amazing will be released this year, its better tô Into The Radius 2 tô be released next year. I hope that all of them, if they are of quality, will be quite successful!

Good list, but Blade & Sorcery is still bad and people should save their money. Most overhyped game till date and I'm going to keep saying it, because it's games like that that ruin VR.. it's all hyped up, then new people come to VR and try it, have fun for half an hour, then realise how clunky and bad the gameplay and mechanics are, how absouletely poorly coded the NPCs are... you literally can't get a proper fight in that game, the NPCs just push forward and there is no real collision or impact feel to your attacks.
Overhyped as hell.
For real though mods don't help much either that game needs substance. No more tech demos

Because a lot of other people don't find them boring. Not all superheroes need powers to be interesting either (spider-man has powers too so I'm unsure what you're talking about).

He uses BoboVR S3 Pro mostly I think. I have one and it's awesome. A comfy halo strap (similar to PSVR) with a Massive hot swappable battery. Highly recommended.
