You must have visit to the kusma,which is approximately 24 km far from Beni , and kusma is very beautiful place and there are too many enjoyable place to enjoy like world's second highest bungee jump, sky cycling and swing, and other things

It was a good gesture but please don't hand out chocolates to kids. They get used to it and start asking to any tourist that they see. This has already been an issue in the past. This dependency to free things/ donation is not a good thing for a child and communities. "If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime."

I’m originally from Nepal but currently residing in the US. You need to go to explore a beautiful city Dharan which is in the Eastern Nepal.
Where I live in Japan, most of the Indian restaurants are owned by Nepalis or people who are ethnically Nepali from India. They are always such nice people.
You can say parts of Greater Nepal because Those Nepalese living in current India was part of Greater Nepal map.

The children behaved exemplary, and waited for the moment when the chocolate waffle arrived for their turn. - I have rarely seen such a sight, unless they were told to stand in line and wait quietly. The "leader" of the group, your assistant organized things quickly and also knew how to keep in touch with you. Such children usually "surprise" in the future - they have the ability to break forward. It's a shame that the meeting with the children was short - this is just a piece of the whole puzzle. It is interesting to see the daily life of the local residents, what they do, and what are the characteristics of the population. Your part with the children was captivating throughout and especially "the photo of the children standing at the door of the store and you ask them to be quiet" Lovely, lovely photo! Is there a place where I can copy the image? Like Norman Rockwell - The painter who captures the moment in life.

Yes brother you're quite right and you interpreted that correctly when you bumped your head on that roller shutter....generally Nepali people are shorter & smaller built so if they pushed the shutter to that height it's enough height for an averafe to tall Nepalese person but for foreigner's height that was not tall enough, sorry for the pain you may have sustained. That's like learning something new from experience because I'm sure you'll me more mindful/careful about it next time. Thanks for sharing and making the kids so happy.
