Digging these 2v videos now that I got one lol. My buddy was telling me to go get an aviator shortblock out the junkyard $125 and I’d lose 100lbs plus pick up a good bit of compression so I’m kinda thinking about doing that. Idk just trying to do some cheap and free stuff on the 2v putting all the money into the 3v. Now I’m trying to find me a 96 cobra so I have a 4v. I’d love a newer cobra like 99/01 03/04 or Mach 1 but I don’t have the money for those but I definitely wana add a 4v to the collection so I’ll have all of them lol
Btw the new 2v is an 02 convertible 125k miles. Plan on j-mod for the transmission 4.10 gears then just a cold air intake muffler delete throttle body and plenum. May end up doing the aviator shortblock and longtubes eventually too. Not trying to make it stupid fast it’s just my work car and my 3v is the one that will haul the Mail anyways

Wish I could send more but with 3 kids and 2 mustangs there isn’t much extra money lol but I can dang sure swing what I been sending once a month. It’s just like paying for cable/satellite is how I look at it lol
Was this a Non PI block? I have a Romeo 5.4 and I’m putting Windsor pi heads on it and I’m not sure if I should follow the timing procedure for the Windsor or the Romeo
@@DriftDreams242 I remember when I was looking there were some minor differences between cam gears and the guides. Maybe I was overthinking things a bit tbh.

Did you have to install a oil plug under the chain tensioner between the deck and head mounting surface???
Did you reuse the head bolts or put new in. Also which cams did you use asking because of piston to valve clearance
So i bought pi heads for my 96 mustang gt. It already assembled with cams and all. How can i drop the head on and figure out the timing properly?
