Because it has not been released for the PS3. Before it came out, articles said this game was coming to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. But for some unknown reason, it's only been released on the Xbox Marketplace.

At this time, unfortunately, we have very few options to create our own jaegers but they will release soon other jaegers on DLC. I've read that they will complete all the main kaijus and jaegers from the movie plus Horizon Brave, Romeo Blue, Tacit Ronin and the other (secondary) kaijus (Onibaba, Mutavore and Raiju).
That's what the list says on the Pacific Rim Wikia, but no one really knows when the next DLC will be released.

That's the whole point of the match. You get points for blocking and attacking. You have to get a certain amount of experience to reach gold. I could easily destroy the enemy. But they can only take so many punches before they die, so I have to block to rack up the points.
