Very good advise. What I need however is a hosting website who will let a noncomputer geek to easily set up such a website. I tried one and am bogged down. I don't know how to do this stuff. I need a super easy one. Nothing fancy. Ideas? I tired "Campaign Partner" and its above my skill level.
Don’t waste time trying to do something someone else can do in less time. Try Fivrr or Upwork, and see if you can find someone familiar with the software you are using.

The trick is to get people to visit your website. It doesn't matter how great it is if no one sees it.
Jason Roberts which is why you place the url on everything the campaign does. Tv, mail, posters, yard signs..along with a slogan and advertising that makes the candidate interesting. If the candidate is a bore, and the advertising a bore, you are right. Nobody will bother visiting the website
