This is an excellent tutorial for beginners! Each step is carefully explained with accompanying demo. Stewart speaks clearly and slowly so the dialogue is very understandable. You can upload as much as you like (limit is your Google drive storage limit).
It's a helpful video for people and companies! It's well explained and guided step-by-step. I've previously made a Weebly website also thanks to one of your videos - an author page, to have all info (and the writing blog) in one place. Weebly customers' service was very helpful when I needed. I can see that with Google site, the integrations (e.g., TH-cam, etc.) are more and you can choose writing fonts. Anyway, I'm very happy with my weebly website. And I thank you for your help. Keep up the great work! :-)

No you do not need. You can buy a custom domain if you like but it's not vital.

Thank you for this updated one...started building my own watching your original one. Question though....is there a way to make the text boxes a little more flexible? I find when I try to adjust it it will just snap back into place. Also, I guess there is no way of making it any bigger? For example, I put my name and when I want a tagline under it they are too spaced apart and there seems to be no way of adjusting this. And too, my other issue right now is with inserting buttons. I put 3 of them, one under each service , and while it looks fine in the laptop view when i try to preview it on mobile I have each button stacked on each other under the 3 services I have listed....instead of one under each service its all 3 together at the bottom of each service listed and looks bad. Any ideas?

Yes you can drag the text boxes into place.
In terms of the buttons you will have to change the layout so that the module does not stack. There is a way to do it.

Yes, you can connect your domain with Google sites.
Thanks! Perhaps you can help with the following. I created a site from scratch with a header (banner). The header type can be Cover / Large Banner / Banner. The problem is when I select a large banner, the sides are cut off in the "phone" preview but when I select a (small) banner, parts of the header are cut off in the "Large screen" preview. What header type and dimensions will look good on all devices? 😄

You might need to create a large image to upload. I suggest testing the responsiveness by actually using your devices.

You can. Ideally, you can through TH-cam. Upload your video on TH-cam and embed the video on your website.

The best way is to use Zapier and connect Google Forms to a CRM. I will have to spend some time looking at other ways.
