I initially had a lot of problems on this fight, so went on to look up strategies on youtube.... Everyone was like... bait attacks, wait for opportunity, use this, use that... None of that has ever worked for me. Being hyper agressive works so much better. Naturally you have to deflect well, but it's not that bad on this fight. Just spam that attack button like mad, sometimes I even go into the poison or anti healing cloud just to get more damage in and kill him quickly.

This boss is bullshit for one main reason... The game refuses to let me use Bestowal then backstab him.

Trying to beat gauntlet of severence in charmless mode and damn owl phase 2 is very annoying, so time consuming and risky, those goddamn poison and posture recharge.
