- We take our rescued Clydesdale, Oliver off the homestead for the first time pulling his cart! We head down the old “Route 66” trotting by the interstate where vehicles and semis fly by! Oliver doesnt react to them one bit and just keeps trotting along. He is such a good boy. The parade is only a week off so we need to get as much practice in as we can! Oliver is a two year old Clydesdale stallion that we rescued March 2023 with the help of our viewers. He was very sick when we first got him and REALLY Underweight. He has come a long way and made a full recovery from EPM. He is now well and strong enough to start training to pull and eventually ride (Of course with the ok from our vet and chiropractor). Oliver came from a possible death to a TH-cam superstar. He was so lucky that you found him. But he is a diamond in the rough brought to superstar status by a wonderful ,kind and knowledgeable family. Thank You Guys for letting us go along on this journey.

The transformation of Oliver is something to behold. His first pictures of a downtrodden sad emotionally lost soul to now are incredible. Even his eyes looked defeated. And he was only two years old! Thank you God and your wonderful family for rescuing him and giving him a wonderful life. Personally, I wish he could just live in the pasture, but who am I?

I don't think people understand how amazing Oliver is, I mean he was a stranger a year ago. This proves my theory that he knows you saved his life, and not only saved his life, but gave him a darn good one. One that has purpose, love, kindness, good food, great horse friends, great non-horse friends, lots of good supplements, as much food as he needs, and as much love as he can stand, plus his best friend in the whole world right by his side everyday telling him what a good boy he is. And yes I know I listed food and love twice, it's important to Oliver...lol. When you look at his life through his eyes, how could he be anything different that who he is. Definitely TH-cams favorite heart horse, cause if Emry feels safe traveling beside the interstate, with a 3 year old stallion, then anyone could feel safe with him.

I think this speaks volumes for your training and handling of Oliver! First of all, you never used aggression or harshness in training Oliver, and he trusts you implicitly. He is calm because you are calm and giving him clear and precise instructions. You have every reason to be proud, you have both done well! As for the blue lines, Oliver knew that was for handicap parking and neither one of you are handicapped, so you shouldn’t park there.

I also never had a doubt. He has met absolutely every challenge you have put in front of him and will continue to do so. I've said it before, Oliver knows you saved his life. He will spend the rest of his life repaying you in spades. I've also seen that Oliver will save your life as well. His love for you is actually very physically visible to me, I see a blue haze whenever you two touch. When you are not touching, he is looking for you. It is beautiful.
Oliver is a reflection of your patient training and understanding of a horse's psychology. I have been told that the behavior of a horse is the reflection of the rider/trainer. You and your family are the best!!

Oliver is the best boy! He did so well! Interstate noise, passing vehicles, barking dogs. Nothing seemed to faze him. Well, except for the blue lines and handicap parking spots, but he seem to conquer that problem in pretty short order. That handsome boy never ceases to amaze!

Wow Oliver sure has gained a lot of stamina and endurance. He had the trailer ride and the farrier appointment for 4 hours followed by a 3 mile carriage pull.🤪And he looks great doing it all.❤
