It's crazy how the concept of an Assassin's Creed game set in feudal Japan with ninjas and naval warfare was probably one of the most hyped ideas for a potential sequel since at least Black Flag, and this could've easily been Ubisoft's return to form if executed right. Yet they somehow managed to drop the ball so fucking badly that not only are people downright refusing to give the game a chance, even Japanese people: arguably the most vital demographic this product should've appealed to first and foremost (not basketball Americans who listen to mumble music) are shitting on it and calling it culturally offensive. It really goes to show you what happens when you put the interests of soulless globalist shareholders who view people as cattle over the quality of your product.
