    Hey, Nathan. Very good review. Thank you for shout out. But the taste of all this can-products will be much better
    if you had heated them. About the dessert - it's cottage cheese in Russian TVOROG.

    Hi Nathan what you do with the tubes is to take the plastic top of use the inside dimand shaped spear to open the top swivel it around to open the hole then re please the top back flip it open and suck through the small mouth piece which has a one way valve in it to stop the contents spilling into the cockpit of the space craft hope that helps you cheers Rick

  • @YourOldPalFernbark

    I am guessing there aren't any heaters in the ration because they figure your space station has a stove.

    • @outdoortactical4727
      @outdoortactical4727 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You right! In space station they use special stove for can-food products

    • @ZeliardFTW
      @ZeliardFTW 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes they have heaters and water etc on space stations! Cold canned products can still be tasty, but heating them will make them even more tasty!
      Also the gelatinous fat/liquid will melt and incorporate easily into the food. It isn't bad for you, really.

    "It has salmonella in it. That's what it translates to. But you can't always trust that ....just butter and salmonella."

  • @lunaangelj
    @lunaangelj 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    if the cans are the types that the cosmonauts eat then you need to heat those cans up before eating them. The cosmonauts have can toasters in their mess hall in the space station that heats up the cans before eating. eating them cold probably won't give you the full flavor of it. the sauces are congealed in the can so the food won't taste as good if heated. and since the food tastes different in space the spice and flavoring might be slightly different... maybe a bit more concentrated since the taste bud are stunted in space.

    I was just waiting for that cottage cheese one to give a big ol blurp and blast half the table, lol. Anyway, that was awesome. That oatmeal I ate is $75 and $15 shipping on eBay alone, the tubes are around $50 per tube, this was a $700 meal if parted out and sold on ebay, the whole kit or a variation of this usually sells for around $350

    That oats should have been connected to a gadget on the space station that would of filled it up etc ready to as you said squeezed up into top bag to be eaten by squeezing it out ..any dust on the space station is a big fire hazard as are cribs why they have special food in tubes,runs or moistened by a gadget on board ..amazing really
