16 GB ram isn't enough, but it doesn't mean you won't be able to play the game smoothly. I have 16GB 4000 CL15 with 13600K 5.7 and 4080 and at 1440p It's using 12.5 GB Vram 13 GB Ram and 5.5% Page File (My page File is 32 GB) And at max settings with DLSS and Frame Generation I'm averaging 160 Fps without an issue.

Crazy 13fps boost on the most demanding game out and in 4k thats a 25% increase which is insane at this level in 4k. 13fps on alan wake over a 20% increase. Way better effeciency also.
not really even 4090 is horribly slow - cpus are much much faster even at 1080p 4090 is bottleneck. Ada is power efficient but for current cpus they should be at least 50% faster. But i enjoy the fact that i have maxed out z490 platform and it uses 4090 100% even at 1440p in damanding games, with better lows that 7800x3d lol. But i use my old 4070ti in main pc undervolted as i mailny play cs2, 4090 is only for AAA with my oled. But fucking amd why they suck so much because of thier trash radeons i cant upgrade 10900k (at least i dont have reason to) and i want ddr5 64gb - as bdie caps out on 32gb and pcie4/5 not just 3. But amd is literally slower than 10900k (at lows i dont need more avg) and 14900k is way too powerhungry and hot for my sff build - and undervolted again wont give me anything over 10900k. 3090 ti/normal are not considered "gaming gpu's" because of their price it's too overpriced it didn't have a drop 3090/ti have got a really bad value for 15% difference ratio and 30%~45% price difference comparing to the 3080 ti is dumb and rediculous however if you wanna get an rtx 3090 ti use it "only" for 3d modelling thanks to the high Vram or maybe high demanding graphical intense tasks

Craziest part about this is the 4080superr is actually bottlenecked slightly by most cpu's just pike the 3090ti was bottlenekced by the 12900k etc. You may not notice all that much but the future of cpu's will boost the 4080 super performance and even furthermore the 4090 which is crazy.
If you were already an owner of a 3090ti, 4080 and 4080 Super were non starters. Only real upgrade is a 4090 or you hold onto the 3090/3090ti and wait for a 5080/5090.

Resolution weights heavy on raster power. 4K is already quite demanding. This is why upscaling technology is most likely to be the priority. Rather than making fridge-size GPU with extreme raster power to process some future 8K - better just to polish up the upscaling technology and just make a good fake of the said 8K.
