I'd love to hear her thoughts on your city, her favorite features and those that made her ask questions. Maybe she even has a funny story related to your videos. It's really good to see a city that looks organic, with everything interlinked. As you say, some of the big cities are just lots of sets placed next to each other, whereas this looks unique. Great work Robin!
It is grand to see how far along the city has come, I came on your channel by chance, looking into train mocs. Your video on the custom carriages for the white and red power functions high speed train came up high in the list, I watched your video on balesting and tried to get an idea to try and run off inspiration i get watching your videos, i hope to be able to put something out at some point, but for now enjoying you and your joyful journey of building up the city, sharing your rather brilliant ideas to fix things like stickers and just the sheer joy you have sharing the experience with people like me, it's like watching a kid when mom puts his drawings on the fridge energy like that, great in these dark and uncertain times, I'm sorry if this is a ramble, but honestly the random little conversations are always fun, hope things continue as good as they are now
Not a ramble at all. This is the sort of comment that motivates me to do more. If what I'm sharing is appreciated then it's worth doing. It's as simple as that!
I agree... The lego community is just amazing. Everybody is so willing to help one another. Plus, if I said it was a ramble then I would have to admit that I'm always rambling on...
You did an awesome job!! Keep it up, here’s an suggestion of a build, maybe a residential building that’s on sale but however secretly it’s haunted, or instead have a haunted house with flashing lights for your fair ground because doesn’t every fair ground need a haunted house?

I love the whole city tour. It’s amazing how the whole city has turned out. I get a lot of inspiration from it as well. Monthly city update is very good indeed. A minor suggestion between the parisian restaurant and mini golf course would be a souvenir/hat/suntan lotion mini shop. Otherwise, the city is awesome with so many small interesting details.
This is the best lego city I've EVER seen. Right now I'm rebuilding my city, nothing broke but I'm placing them back, cause I don't have tables, so everything is on the floor, which needed to be cleaned. I try to place my in a different way everytime my floor has to be cleaned. I hope in the future I have a city as cool as yours.
The more I look at the front of the station building the more I feel the crown might look better in red and with 1x1 modified plates with horizontal tooth instead of the yellow ones with clips... I can't wait to see what you put in the oddly shaped hole next to the cinema. That really calls for another very well thought out moc. And THANK YOU for fixing the looping on hole 6 - it made my head hurt... XD Also, for the record, I think a tour every 25 videos is perfect. It's a great place to start when you're just finding the channel, it's not too far back that it takes weeks to catch up but I think more frequent tours would get too repetetive for long time viewers. It's always good that there's so much new stuff to go over each tour and I think if you did one every month and then have another longer project like the Fastfood Corner or the station that would be pretty much all that's new. Also, to add a bit more interest - in case that's what you're worried about - you could perhaps collect all the suggestions you get on the other 24 episodes and show off which ones of them you've implemented during the tour. Something like: "Recently we added this little shop and as you can see we've added this lovely little scene here from your suggestions. Also, a few of you suggested this umbrella should really be a different color and i agree. So it is a yellow one now." I don't know if that is too time consuming with all the planning though. I don't want to make more work for you. You already put so much work into every one of your videos. (/_\)
Thanks, that's really useful feedback and I think you're right on the 25. People definitely love the ability to make contributions and suggestions so that's here to stay. I think I'll be doing a subscriber suggestion special soon as I've got loads to do!
I've got the pieces for two fake stations and most of the bits for another full station. They will be coming in due course. Some will need to go in the half of the room I've not started yet!
I have watched all these videos but the city is so extensive that Im still seeing things I hadn't noticed before. Or at the very least, I had forgotten about...
Your Lego City is the best I know. The different levels are a great idea. So much to see and funny scenes included. Let’s continue the fantastic work.🍀🍀🍀👌
Concrete Mixer car is certainly my favorite smaller moc you've done!! About the turbine. Perhaps it would fit better by the fair ground. Figured sooner rather than later would be a good idea to mention it. You could perhaps replace it with something that also has a power function so as not to have to tear out the wiring. Keep up the awesome work and great videos!!
That mixer is SO cool. Nah, I'll leave the turbine. There will be enough spinning and whirring over there as it is. I also like it's minimalist base but it's not a great set. Thankfully it does provide a nice tall feature on a big blank wall!
Congrats on 175 thus far Robin. Yet another comprehensive reminder of how glad I am I discovered your channel last summer. So many folks, including me, have built or are building cities too, but you've absolutely become, in my opinion, one of the TH-cam Lego City top-tier AFOLs. I understand Mrs Hood limiting you to this room (lol) so it's going to be such a shame once the space finally runs out, but I don't think I've come across anyone that knows how to pack so much into a space like you. Cheers to another 25, and hopefully many more for a while! :)
Very kind, Matthew. This is exactly my thinking and my reason for density. Anyone can fill a large space but a continuous scene in all directions is a lot harder!
Great city update Robin. You should do a vote on what people think is there favourite building or scenario. I’m torn between the underground station or Dr infurnos evil lair.
Hey Robin. How about a façade of a tunnel on the road that ends at your wall next to the harbor? You can fill the tunnel part with black bricks so it looks like in continues on. Maybe even have half of a car driving out or in. Such cool stuff.
Wonderful tour of your fabulous city. It looks better every time! There’s so much life and colour in the streets, which really brings the whole thing alive. Some people may have bigger cities but they can look rather dull and clinical if things are just plonked next to each other. Whereas Brick Nottingham seems to have a real sense of vibrancy, hustle and bustle. Keep up the fantastic work!
Thanks so much. I think you and I both try to join our sets together into a continuum and also avoid too many straight lines. Yours does this vertically as well whereas I have different levels. Rows of buildings do not look natural!
It'd have to stay down the whole time as I love using the trains. I was going to do a London Tower Bridge rail crossing but decided against it as it didn't make much sense and was too big!
Every video I’m left speechless but inspired, your city is my favourite on TH-cam out of all the ones over the years! Keep up the great work! Can’t wait to see what’s to come in the next 25 videos!!
Yeah, I find these ones quite difficult as I could go on for hours or just talk nonsense, haha. I see it every day so it's hard to know what to show. So many details are in buildings for example!
I've been furloughed for some time now. As a result I feel I've completed the internet, so TH-cam is serving up older and older videos. Which means I've been enjoying some of your older videos. I notice a vast improvement in your delivery and confidence over the past year or so. I particularly enjoyed the castle series that I hadn't seen until recently. Love these catch ups of the entire city. Not a criticism I do enjoy all the little jokes you add into the city that continue to amuse you. For instance the beach hut with the woman with no bikini bottom, or the guy in the pig suit being ill behind the pub (small criticism, your latest pub has no optics rack for the spirits) My personal favourites have to be the main train station, but I adore the subway station. I do like the Italian restaurant re-moc of the friends set as well. You mentioned the ongoing problem of getting certain camera angles in the future. Have you thought about permanently mounting a couple of (cheaper) webcams from the ceiling in those positions., still jealous of the room you have (have started digging a basement for my house with a spoon for my lego room). As usual love the channel, love the attention to detail and all your little rules make the city really interesting. Finally what happened to "train cam"?
I like the TrainCam because it's the closest to the minifig point of view of the city you can get to without special "periscope" apparatus on the camera.
I'm not a fan of that system and not just because of the cost from the ridiculous number of bricks involved. I think it can suit an American style block grid-style setup but corners look really bad in it in my experience. I like baseplates!
My fiancé and I have so much fun watching your videos! He’s been aiming to build his own LEGO city and gets so many ideas from your channel. I love how whimsical it is! One thing I thought might look cool is to waves under where the helicopter is hovering! The wind from the blades always makes that cool wave pattern underneath the helicopter. Could give those sharks a run for their money 😆 Can’t wait time see what you come up with next!
Good thing my child has a smaller cold today so I get to stay at home and enjoy this EPIC tour! (YES, I have commented before watching the video, but I'm gonna DOUBLE comment with a second comment after I've seen the video.).
@@RobinHoodBricks I've tried doing a tour in Swedish in just one take, but I found it impossible. Anyways, I'm always impressed by how easy and casual you make it look when you film.
Oh thank you. Sometimes I do a few takes to get it right but not on these long ones. Talking is surprisingly hard when you're recording and focusing on what your trying to do or show!
Aww city I love these tours because I only discovered your channel like 5 months ago so I didn’t get to see all your old videos and I don’t have time to watch them all very cool I can’t wait to see what your city brings! Also I think a tour every 25 videos is enough because you upload a lot thanks for sharing!
I'm so impressed! The different colour usages throughout the city make it pop with contrast. You should make a short video explaining where you get your inspiration and ideas from, as well as what you plan on adding into the city. I love it!
WOW Bricknottingham is FANTASTIC! I absolutely love the train bridges and the cliffs nearby, I love your underground system and the station entry points. I think your attention to detail here is unprecedented, and I love the little Easter eggs and I love how we can see the daily life of the minifigures. Overall this is easily one of the coolest Lego cities i've ever seen, and I can't wait to see where else you will take it.
You're more than welcome 😉 Thank you for sharing your fantastic city!!! And take us along with everything you make! A feast to see it all 😊😃 enjoy building!!!
I normally watch your updates on my phone tonight I sat with a cup of ‘ hot tea ‘ on the sofa and watched it on on a 55 inch tv !! Wow spectacular Robin loved it. Amazing to see all the little details and be reminded of all the back stories in the scenes.like that poor guy still on the window sill of the facade waiting to be found by jealous husband. ! Thank you for the panoramic view of the city I’ve finally got the perspective now. You keep teasing us with the fairground.....So good mrs Hood is so supportive maybe she could have her own action scene. Can’t believe you put her as a tour guide sounds like she’s a lot more to offer !!
Thank you, thank you. Wow, I don't think I've seen it all on a 55 inch TV, haha. I'm glad you've got the perspective now as it can all blend into itself with so much going on. I was thinking of getting another tour guide in and elevating the Mrs into a more befitting role. Real life Mrs Hood won't be joining us, that has been made clear, haha!
Man, I've just got to say, you're one of my favorite youtube accounts floating around right now. You've got an awesome city and you're one of the only people who can keep me entertained for 40+ minutes!
Undoubtedly one of my favorite ever city layouts!!! I absolutely love the parts usage for small details all over and how clean and organic each theme and building flows into the next scene!!! A sheer amazing view that I’m jealous of the minifigs of🤩🤩💛
Yes your harbour part is awsum nice large spot for it. An that crain s are great...luv the big crain . wow that gray air ship thing hanging from roof is big set wow. Did u say its a Adventchers set ..I luve your sky Sean .I hopen to do same one day. Wow your Lego garden is oh so luvly. Yer a real garden like that would look great wethear hear ain't bean best to grown plants. Whether bean crap hear sints end of larst year.
Congrats with the 175th video 🇬🇧 That’s a lot of videos in just over a year - it’s impressive how much time you must spend on building Lego and shooting videos ⏱ I really enjoy watching your channel - keep up the good work 👍
I see influences from Carrington street cannal area aka trent and the Nottingham Station aka your monorail tram. I also see the little areas that remind of Tokyo. I went there a few times over the years and love the multi layer effect.
You're certainly right about the tram over the station. It's far from an accurate portrayal of Nottingham but it's nice to get elements like the castle in!
@@RobinHoodBricks I'm now watching ALL your videos from the start so that I can catch up. If you are looking for a small ship hull, there's one being sold on ebay its blue and is from the 70s so it looks like the side of a cargo ship its 32 x 8 wide. It used to be my old set from when I was a child.
Wonderful city update as always. You are probably my favorite lego youtuber outside the U.S. What is one set you have wanted and you never ever thought you would get but did finally get? My answer will be in my 60th lego haul comming this week. I finally got a lego set I had always loved as a kid looking at the advertising city scape in the back of my manual for my 2008 lego batman video game for hours wanting the set now 12 years later I have the set.
I really like the blue rail use on the bridge! Excellent use of parts, looks great. Since you went through everything in this video I guess it's a good place to comment a summary of my thoughts Lighthouse and coast guard stations seem like prime real estate for some custom buildings. Also a fan of highlighting some classic themes like pirate / castle, while keeping their retro building style. Recognizable callbacks to iconic sets like the yellow train station are great to see The lighting integration is really well implemented too, and its exciting to see there's room for expansion of tables, you're utilizing your area really nicely. I didn't see any postal workers, that'd be an easy add for some city bustle. Speaking of, I'm a big fan of seeing various lego hauls too, I buy a lot on bricklink and its great to see interesting stuff people are getting. Only thing with video editing is sometimes it can seem wobbly, and the intro noise seems a bit loud. I've had a lot of fun watching your various progress updates, thanks for hosting a nice channel here!
I have some posties to add, never fear. The freehold camera shots are often shaky as I've got bad joints so when I go one handed it's not great. I tried stabilisation software but that's worse!
Love the city and the depth but mostly the scenes you set within it, that’s what makes it come to life. I don’t quite have the room to build on this type of scale but I’m taking ideas from you to condense and pack in more detail, keep up the great work 👏👏
Great looking city! Its packed with so many detail. Its fast becoming one of my favorites. Anyway, I think one city tour per 25 videos is good enough. I mean, lots of things has changed since 25 videos ago. So its nice to see how everything's come together after all the updates. Off topic question: Ive noticed you swapped Dorothy's flesh tone with yellow. Does that mean that Batman, on the rooftop of cityhall, is he the only fleshed toned character in your city? There was no closeup of him so I was wondering if you changed out his head for a yellow tone as well.
No he's yellow too. He uses the tennis player's head. The sweatband acts as the batman eyes. I have other face colours like white for clowns where they use makeup but no flesh tones. I want to avoid them unless I really have to. Mr T may be an issue. He can't be yellow!
I probably sound a bit like a broken record, but once again Robin, kudos on such amazing work. Your videos have really become a treat for me, and these full city reviews are extra nice. Absolutely loved that first shot you had looking out over all of Bricknottingham to start this video. And I do so love seeing all the trains going at once. Keep up the fantastic work. Can't wait to see what you've got coming next.
WOW, that is an amazing Brick Nottingham. watching all the build videos is great, then at least for me, you show an entire video showing all the different things at once and it is really an amazing build. I love the look of all the minifigs running around the city living their lives with you. I could not pick out a favorite single piece because so many areas only develop because it's added to all the others that surround them. As always thank you for sharing your ideas and Brick Nottingham. Also, thank Mrs. Hood for letting all of us into your home in the lego room and building desk.
I meant to say that the rock face beside @sweat, you could add a lookout tower closing up some of the open space and building to the story of the tourist castle.
City looks amazing... lucky you have so much room : ) I was going to suggest you'd need an airport for all those aircraft flying overhead, but you've already mentioned it! One thing I didn't notice was a Police Station... do you have one? Would think you'd need one with the excessive amount of villains that dwell in Brick Nottingham!
Hi Robin, Wow, what progress you’ve made! It’s been a long time since my last reaction on your city posts unfortunately since the covid outbreak and having another newborn. So I in fact took the last week to bingewatch all the posts eversince. That did make up for the last two months of abscence. I love the additions you’ve made. Especially modular row, the station and the fish & chips/Krusty Crab erea’s! I hope to be able to be reacting again from now on. Just wow! And off course, Already voted for FFC on Lego Ideas, if you would make it and in what form so, I will buy the set, just in honour of Brick Nottingham 😉👍🏼
@Robin Hood Bricks thanks Robin. Since its a girl, i guess now Lego Friends can be add to our Lego City 😉😂. But a great expansion so far Robin, reallykeep it up and i’ll be posting regularly again from now on.
Love it! Can’t wait for the airport and second subway station! I think the airport would be great on the far side of the new standing hole against the wall. This way you could put the start of a few runways going into the wall like how your roads go off into the distance. This would allow you to showcase a detailed airport terminal. I’m sure you’ve planned to have the subway station to have access from the airport but that would be a must! Maybe a fake subway entrance by the fairground. I’m looking forward to all the exciting progress to come! Your subway is what brought me to your channel and I went back to watch everything from before. I don’t think I’ve seen anybody else on TH-cam have a subway like yours!
I discovered your great channel just before you started the castle and it's amazing how much progress you've made. I'm always inspired by your City... Keep the great content coming.
I'm glad you've noticed the huge progress. It's a bit disheartening when people just say, "Do the fairground", or similar. It all takes a lot of time, planning, buying and building. Thanks for the support!
Great Job! I've been following your progress since the 1st high speed passenger train car mocs. Question: Are you going to do a 10k special? I noticed that you are getting pretty close!
What a great city update to celebrate your 175th video, looking so good and I look forward to watching your videos. Found your channel by chance searching for lego ideas and you've given me so much inspiration and ideas for my own city, I honestly cannot thank you enough, I'm sure I've pretty much watched all your videos and I thinking of going back to watch them again 😁😁. My girlfriend wanted me to ask you if you have any plans for police, fire stations and a hospital (your minifigs will start demanding these services of a city soon 😂😂). But honestly this is a work of art and you should be immensely proud of your city and the pleasure it gives other people, I for one salute you sir.
I think I need to get back into this community, I had a good run throughout 2013-2019 but due to personal reasons I had to stop and sell all my Lego sets. Anyways, your city is coming along nicely. Your attention to detail is what makes this city a cut above the rest. Are your excited for the new city tram set that's coming soon?
New tram? I've not heard of that. Unless it's crazy amazing I doubt I'd replace my orange one. It's fully converted, has lights etc and fits the monorail base very well!
@@RobinHoodBricks I agree, you've done well with it. However we still have three City sets to be announced, and speculation is that the biggest one will be a city square with a yellow tram.
Wonderful overview! I stumbled across you when you began work on Fast Food Corner. I've since gone back and watched almost all of your videos. (The brick hauls usually aren't my thing.) You are by far my most favorite Lego creator!! I love all the humorous details you add. I absolutely voted for your submission and can't wait to see what happens. My suggestion would be...can you add 1/2 a car to your roads that go into the wall? Almost like a car facade, in essence. Seeing the blank space looks a bit jarring. Keep up the fantastic work!!!!! 😊
Thanks so much, Lara. I have tried a facade car and it didn't work. There's not a huge amount of space there. Maybe I'll have another go at it but maybe I should add something else if not. Keep watching!
Fantastic! I caught onto your channel when you were building the subway. While I did go back and view some videos made previously, I haven’t seen all of Brick Nottingham. It’s great to see it all and that you’ve been quite clever and consistent to your vision all along. I too like the city texture that varied levels provides. Congrats on Fast Food Corner’s fast good progress! It’s now on the LEGO Ideas homepage. Just scroll down to check on he rising tally. Thank you.
What a great city and thank you for taking the risk and filming on the step ladder! Now that there was an opportunity you havent shown the great casino :D have you ever thought about a "cut away" for showing that special first building scene? :)
This is an excellent city! I love it! I had the same idea in my head with the metro, train and monorail! I just don't have the place now to display all my sets, but i'll find something.
Double the train itself? I don't think so as it's already longer than the platforms and it costs a lot. If you mean the track, it will get doubled soon when I get the other tables done etc!
@@RobinHoodBricks I think the train but maybe only add one more carridge. I live near London and the underground trains there are pretty long. Maybe you could add a carridge for bikes?
Great to see all the progress. Some really interesting perspectives, especially the view from the station. One thing I have thought about in a few of your station videos as well as this one is angling the coffee shop about 30 degrees inwards to create a unique angle Amongst many straight features, put it on a couple studs with flat blue grays would look quite nice.

I think that every 25 videos is just right for city updates.
Agree
Agreed. Just can't believe these last 25 videos have already come to pass. Time flys when ur having fun I guess..
Fair enough, I'll do that. However I'm running out of brick hauls which would make it longer between updates. Come on Bricks & Pieces. Reopen!
I can imagine being a minifig in bricknottingham, it must be an absolute nightmare trying to cross over the railway line.
Hey cybotic zombie. Im with u on that my friend. Got to say, I love his city more than all the other citys I've saw.
There's a dedicated railway crossing for pedestrians, or you can go through the station and use the overpass. That seems safe to me!
That is why if I was a minifig in BrickNottingham I would work hard on making a jetpack to sell to the people, I would be rich 😛

Right now I'm rebuilding my city, nothing broke but I'm placing them back, cause I don't have tables, so everything is on the floor, which needed to be cleaned. I try to place my in a different way everytime my floor has to be cleaned. I hope in the future I have a city as cool as yours.
Good luck. I hope you are successful!
@@RobinHoodBricks aww thanks
The more I look at the front of the station building the more I feel the crown might look better in red and with 1x1 modified plates with horizontal tooth instead of the yellow ones with clips...
I can't wait to see what you put in the oddly shaped hole next to the cinema. That really calls for another very well thought out moc.
And THANK YOU for fixing the looping on hole 6 - it made my head hurt... XD
Also, for the record, I think a tour every 25 videos is perfect.
This is a good idea..
We're excited to see the new subway stations - please show us!
I've got the pieces for two fake stations and most of the bits for another full station. They will be coming in due course. Some will need to go in the half of the room I've not started yet!
I love your LEGO city. Your videos are always a pleasure to watch keep up to great work
Thanks, Luca. It means a lot!
I have watched all these videos but the city is so extensive that Im still seeing things I hadn't noticed before. Or at the very least, I had forgotten about...
Believe it or not, I still do that a bit. Oooh that's cool, haha!
Your Lego City is the best I know. The different levels are a great idea. So much to see and funny scenes included. Let’s continue the fantastic work.🍀🍀🍀👌
Yay. Thanks so much, Mello!
Wow! This is so cool! Since I am sort of new here it is nice to see everything. Great video as usual Robin, keep it up!
Thanks so much. And welcome to the gang!
Robin Hood Bricks, Robin Hood and his Merry Men!
The shrimp near the beach is a show. The turtel ninja scene is the most. Congratulations.
Thanks a lot, Paulo!
Great city update Robin. You should do a vote on what people think is there favourite building or scenario. I’m torn between the underground station or Dr infurnos evil lair.
Good choices. The station is another. Subway may be best though!
32:53 is a great view my friend! So happy to have witnessed this mega-city grow from a 1 stop tourist attraction village!
I just can't imagine the room full. It'll be quite daunting. Where on earth will my lighting go?!
@@RobinHoodBricks very good question. Might have to hang up on walls and ceiling in strategic places 🤷🏽♂️
Hey Robin. How about a façade of a tunnel on the road that ends at your wall next to the harbor? You can fill the tunnel part with black bricks so it looks like in continues on. Maybe even have half of a car driving out or in. Such cool stuff.
I could do a tunnel but I figure it's just open land. Something like white cliffs would take me even further geographically from real life Nottingham!
It's rather adorkable when you laugh at your own easter eggs/funny scenes. I like the trains running at diffent speeds. 😊
I guess I'm easily pleased, cackling away on my own, haha!
I love how every city is deifferent and reflects peoples charecters!
Haha, I wonder what this says about me!
Robin Hood Bricks yes, I think you have hit the nail on the head 👍
very nice AND LOOKS BIG!
Yeah, it's quite daunting if you're not seeing it every day!
A train draw bridge would be awesome!
Wow, thank you. High praise indeed. I'll definitely try to keep that top spot over the next 25!
Good video your city is amazing hope to see it get bigger and better great job
Thank you so much. I hope so too!
Whoop whoop! Love seeing the city in one complete tour.
Yeah, I find these ones quite difficult as I could go on for hours or just talk nonsense, haha. I see it every day so it's hard to know what to show. So many details are in buildings for example!
Robin Hood Bricks that’s what I love about your city, the amount of detail that you put into every scene , building and general display. It’s amazing!
For instance the beach hut with the woman with no bikini bottom, or the guy in the pig suit being ill behind the pub (small criticism, your latest pub has no optics rack for the spirits)
My personal favourites have to be the main train station, but I adore the subway station.
Many thanks for the support.
I ran out of time for TrainCam. I will be doing train videos soon which I will do my best to include TrainCam on!
I like the TrainCam because it's the closest to the minifig point of view of the city you can get to without special "periscope" apparatus on the camera.
I saw this and I got so pumped when I saw the title
Fantastic news!
Cool, the city is great! Keep it up mate. Very nice.
Thanks, will do!
Robin Hood Bricks nice
Well done for 175 videos
Phew!
City Looks Great!
Thanks, John. Growing every week!
When you redo your city you should use the MILS plate system that Bevins Bricks is making, which you can use to make more detailed roads like potholes
That's what I am doing in my city, it is cool but wow it takes a lot of bricks :)
I'm not a fan of that system and not just because of the cost from the ridiculous number of bricks involved. I think it can suit an American style block grid-style setup but corners look really bad in it in my experience.
I like baseplates!
Robin Hood Bricks that’s true about the curves, I’ve yet to do any curves in my city. Base plates look great too!
Robin Hood Bricks I agree
My fiancé and I have so much fun watching your videos! He’s been aiming to build his own LEGO city and gets so many ideas from your channel. I love how whimsical it is!
One thing I thought might look cool is to waves under where the helicopter is hovering! The wind from the blades always makes that cool wave pattern underneath the helicopter. Could give those sharks a run for their money 😆 Can’t wait time see what you come up with next!
Glad to hear it. Very good.
Wow, that's a challenge. Sounds like it'll either look awesome or awful, haha!
Good thing my child has a smaller cold today so I get to stay at home and enjoy this EPIC tour! (YES, I have commented before watching the video, but I'm gonna DOUBLE comment with a second comment after I've seen the video.).
Did I miss a cut in the video or was this all shot in just one take? That’s impressive!
Haha, nice one. Each area was one take. So about four in all. It's ok when you get in the flow but hard to get started!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Your city is awesome , I know I say this alot mate but it really is a great city , you have an amazing imagination . Love it.
Yay, thanks. I can't wait to get the other half done!
Love it when you go around the city occasionally.
It's less exciting for me but essential for you lot so I'm glad to do it. I forget you don't see it all the time!
I'm so impressed! The different colour usages throughout the city make it pop with contrast. You should make a short video explaining where you get your inspiration and ideas from, as well as what you plan on adding into the city. I love it!
I don't know where the ideas come from. Mostly they just pop into my head. Lucky I guess. Thanks for the high praise!
I can't wait for the fairground!
Me either. So exciting. I've wanted to do it from the start. Massive willpower to restrain myself!
Those two bridges really remind me of teddington lock bridge
Really? That's a suspension bridge isn't it? Glad you like them!
Really glad you like it. You can watch every element of it being created on the channel. I've tried to capture the entire process!
You're more than welcome 😉 Thank you for sharing your fantastic city!!! And take us along with everything you make! A feast to see it all 😊😃 enjoy building!!!
Thanks so much, mama!
This is not the biggest city in TH-cam but is this the best for me!! Lots of details. I love it. Greatings from Portugal.
Thanks very much indeed. It will get to double the size in time!
Hello happy Monday. Watching this two hr s later. I doing the 4 headed ninjago dragon build tonight ........
Wow, that thing's cool!
Looking good I love it
Glad you like it!
Your city has the 3 Ds. Density, depth and detail. This city is my 3rd favourite LEGO city of all active TH-cam channels
Hopefully when I get more done I could rise to the top spot!
Robin Hood Bricks it’s very tough to beat the talent of JANGBRiCKS or the real estate of Alex Nunes
@@MayoHosko Well if it's those two I'm behind then I don't feel so bad!
Best complete LEGO city on TH-cam by far. Thanks for all the wonderful content!
Thanks so much!
About a 50 min car ride this morning so this came at a perfect time! City is amazing as usual!
Perfecto!
Man, I've just got to say, you're one of my favorite youtube accounts floating around right now. You've got an awesome city and you're one of the only people who can keep me entertained for 40+ minutes!
That is a high accolade and a hard feat to achieve. Thanks for the kind words!
Undoubtedly one of my favorite ever city layouts!!! I absolutely love the parts usage for small details all over and how clean and organic each theme and building flows into the next scene!!! A sheer amazing view that I’m jealous of the minifigs of🤩🤩💛
The organic flow between areas and scenes is a real aim of mine rather than rows of boring official sets. Really glad you liked it!
it all looks great!!
Yay!
Yes your harbour part is awsum nice large spot for it. An that crain s are great...luv the big crain . wow that gray air ship thing hanging from roof is big set wow. Did u say its a Adventchers set ..I luve your sky Sean .I hopen to do same one day. Absolutely amazing lego city robin!

Wow your Lego garden is oh so luvly. Yer a real garden like that would look great wethear hear ain't bean best to grown plants. Whether bean crap hear sints end of larst year.
So nice of you!
Well done awesome vidio looks great. Brilliant lego city. 😀😀
Glad you liked it!
Congrats with the 175th video 🇬🇧
That’s a lot of videos in just over a year - it’s impressive how much time you must spend on building Lego and shooting videos ⏱
I really enjoy watching your channel - keep up the good work 👍
Thank you so much. Yes it's taken over a bit. I might need a break at some point, haha, but so much to do!
How you keep your city so clean. Make video for it.
You want a video of me dusting? No chance!
Fantastic review of the city! I got a kick out of the addition of the Pinball Wizard...Who is the Pinball Wizard? Yes, pun intended =D
Booooom. Yes, he looks really happy with his high score!
They're lovely those old hulls. I've bought a big red, more modern, hull to do a ship MOC with. Should be fun!
I think it'd be the Eldorado Fortress. That I wanted for ages but I never thought I'd have it... No wait, the Zeppelin. Argh, too late!
@@RobinHoodBricks Nice to hear your answer. My answer along with a surprise I recieved this morning will be in my 60th lego haul comming soon.
Congrats dude
Many thanks. It's appreciated!
I really like the blue rail use on the bridge! Excellent use of parts, looks great.
Since you went through everything in this video I guess it's a good place to comment a summary of my thoughts
Lighthouse and coast guard stations seem like prime real estate for some custom buildings.
Also a fan of highlighting some classic themes like pirate / castle, while keeping their retro building style. Recognizable callbacks to iconic sets like the yellow train station are great to see
The lighting integration is really well implemented too, and its exciting to see there's room for expansion of tables, you're utilizing your area really nicely.
I don’t quite have the room to build on this type of scale but I’m taking ideas from you to condense and pack in more detail, keep up the great work 👏👏
Awesome, thank you. Yes, I love a good funny little scene!
I absolutely adore your city. I love the creativity of your own mocs and all the amazing funny scènes.
Cheers, Joyce. Thanks for letting me know!
I like this broken record, it's good, haha. Absolutely loads of plans still in the pocket for months and months more!
I sometimes forget you don't see it all that often. Thank you!
Ooh, that'd be fun. More rocks with a lockout tower facade. Noice!
City looks amazing... lucky you have so much room : )
I was going to suggest you'd need an airport for all those aircraft flying overhead, but you've already mentioned it! One thing I didn't notice was a Police Station... do you have one? Would think you'd need one with the excessive amount of villains that dwell in Brick Nottingham!
LEGO Police Stations are so common I'm thinking of not having one. Maybe that's why there's villains everywhere!
@@RobinHoodBricks ah, yes they are but would have though brick Nottingham's police station wouldn't be normal 😉
Meh. A jail cell, a booking desk, it's all the same. I did like that Alcatraz Island prison type set but I've no room for it!
@@RobinHoodBricks I was thinking a cell with hole dug into your subway/sewer system
I'm doing something not a million miles away from that. No more clues though!
Good to have you back, Kevin. Congratulations on your new addition to the family. Glad you liked my additions too!
Thanks, Bert. That's exactly the plan with the airport. I'll have the end of a runway and some baggage guys etc but a big terminal building!
Suggestion for the next 25 vids...: more of the same please! Loved everything I've seen so far!
Yay, great suggestion. I'll definitely do that!
Looking good!!
Thanks!
Great Job! I've been following your progress since the 1st high speed passenger train car mocs.
Question: Are you going to do a 10k special? I noticed that you are getting pretty close!
I could do with some ideas but I was thinking of introducing a larger new purchase. It's quite common but very fun and with a little danger... Oooooh!
Awww thanks, Jon. Very kind indeed. You can tell your girlfriend yes to a hospital. I'll keep quiet on the other two... (no)!
She's happy about the hospital, she was worried about the minifigs getting hurt or injuring themselves! 😂😂
on the golf course you could add a person looking through some bushes for their golf ball
Very good!
your city is just amazing, it’s my favourite on youtube and i love it so much
That's great to hear. Thank you for your support!
Geile Aktion mit den Fallschirmspringern - fetten Respekt! =D
Vielen Dank. Es wird von einem halben Planetenstück gehalten!
Thanks so much. It's held up by a half a planet piece!
hard work reeps rewards well done RHB.. loving it
Much appreciated. Thanks for noticing!
Thank you.
Yes, I've stopped pushing it as now it's on the front page of LEGO Ideas it ticks along quite nicely, haha!
What a great city and thank you for taking the risk and filming on the step ladder! Now that there was an opportunity you havent shown the great casino :D have you ever thought about a "cut away" for showing that special first building scene? :)
The casino is very cool. I really need a hinged door on the front don't I?!
This is an excellent city! I love it! I had the same idea in my head with the metro, train and monorail! I just don't have the place now to display all my sets, but i'll find something.
Thank you. Yes, I love all the different modes of transport!
You could perhaps extend your monorail over to your theme park
Maybe but I'll have very little room for ME in there as it is. It's quite hard to work in a tiny standing space!
Very cool man keep it up just started mine over
Cool, this is my third attempt and by far the biggest and most ambitious!
I think you should double the length of the subway train
Yes, this has been suggested before. Weirdly I have ZERO 1x1 plates. I need a few vital normal LEGO pieces. I wish Bricks & Pieces would reopen!
Wow that’s massive, great work!! Enjoyed this!
Big thanks!
THANK YOY U NEEDED TO SEE THIS ALL AGAIN!!
Yeah, it's looking good, eh!
Robin Hood Bricks definitely!
