What place would be your favourite to settle down
    Ubon
    Pai
    Chiang Mai
    Kanchanaburi?
    Or maybe different one
    Just curious

Well I have settled in Chiang Mai lol but I am working on a place in Ubon Ratchathani due to family being there and to create a getaway for quiet time .Pai is nice but abit too far North for me but a good place to spend the odd weekend. Kanchanaburi has a lot of beautiful natural surroundings and nice to visit but I wouldn’t live there. If I was going to stay by the beach maybe Hua Hin as quiet and relaxing. If I wanted a more busy wild life then it would be Pattaya, Phuket or Bangkok but really those places are too busy for me and I already tried living in Bangkok for a year. Fun but super busy and hectic like any big city.

@@thetravellingsocialworker thank you for reply , Apreciate, out of curiosity have you been to khon kaen? As for Chiang Mai and ubon from your experience are both equally good and chill or is one overall better when comes to daily life

I would say daily life in Chiang Mai is better generally, but Ubon Ratchathani is good if you like quiet rural life. No I have not been to Khon Kaen yet, but on my to do list.
