Did this drive about 2 years ago with my girlfriend and we found out soon after returning to Chaing Mai we were pregnant with our first born. Great video very well documented and it definitely brings back memories.
I love Pai. I've been there many times with my car. However, I always wanted to ride to Pai, but I am terrible at riding motorcycle. LOL. Will start training for the motorcycle so I can fulfil my dream just like you did. Beautiful video. I am new subscriber here. Will check other videos out later.
Thanks so much for watching and subscribing. We hope you can live your dream one day, but you need to be very careful! And it is still a beautiful road even to drive in the car. We hope you enjoy our other vlogs too
Amazing! We hope you have an incredible time 😍 we rented the scooter from POP bike rental. They were good, and had bikes available on the day. At lot of the larger rental companies with lots of reviews sell out in advance so maybe reach out to some to book before if you want to go with any of them.
Thanks so much for watching our vlogs! So glad they are helpful 🙌🏼 it was around 250-350 baht per day, depending on the power of the scooter and how long you want it for
No offense, you shouldnt be driving in the middle of the lane like that, even if theres no cars around. Please stick close to curb if you're on a scooter, especiwlly on roads between towns.
We drove on the left side of the road at all times, we always move in whenever there’s a car but there was hardly any during the whole length of our trip (as you can see) this is a 3 hour drive so driving close to the curb is something we always do when in busier areas ☺️

My husband and I will be there in August. Where did you rent the scooter from and would you recommend them?

Did you drive the Scooter back to Chiang Mai for return or can you return it in Pai as well? :) Great Video by the way!
We drove it back to Chiang Mai as we rented it from a company there ☺️
How bad is the burning season so far in north Thailand ?
We didn’t experience it, so I don’t think it was the season while we were there
Do you need intentional riding license to ride in Thailand.?
Yes ☺️
Do you pay deposits for the bike hire?
Yes or give them your passport
