Mattel "We shall introduce New Thomas to world". Support team "but it is too sugary and silly. The audience will hate it!". Mattel "Exactly! And then in a few years, we shall bring back old Thomas as Thomas classic and the sales will go through the roof". Support team "That is genius!".
If you're referring to the Model Series, they probably won't bring it back. It wouldn't be the same. Most of the main engines were given to prop collectors (Edward, Percy, James, etc) or look like they went through hell (Thomas).
@@MarioTooniverseTheRealOne Oh as much as I enjoy the model series. I would have to be under novacaine to believe the model series is returning. It will be the CGI stuff. @@Jediah-s6p Well, the cab handrails are a decent touch, but they made such a mess of the rivets, the way they're just sprinkled all over the character models in places they realistically wouldn't of been on the real basis's bothers me to hell. It's like they all have zits.
If there are going to be two Thomas and Friends TV Shows, Mattel better be sure that this one will be a continuation of the classic series where the CGI series left off from.
For those believing how outlandish this could be, it is not unheard of. As much as I hate Kamp Koral, it ran along side the regular SpongeBob as a show catered to the young age demographic. Transformers Prime and Robots in disguise both had rescue bots that took place in the same continuity with each other but rescue bots was also catered to the younger demographic, compared to Robots in Disguise and especially Prime. So Thomas running 2 shows at the same time is more possible than one thinks.
I feel like the best course of action (besides good marketing) is having a choice. One show could be for the younger audience and be the gimmicky one, the other could be for a more general audience and be the more grounded and more mature (but still family friendly) one
Bruh it's been like 3 years, CGI isn't coming back, and that's okay. TTTE has some of the best, most high-quality fan-content of any kids series, maybe even TV in general. As long as the show continues, even as AEG, new fans will come in, who'll one day get curious about the series and find out about just how deep the rabbit hole goes, and that's all we need.
Honestly, this would be a good move in my opinion, bring the old series back, while also having AEG for more younger engines, plus I just want the original show to return
It’s not up to us fans where the franchise goes after 2025, but rather Mattel if they’ll leave Thomas do die and it’s up to this fandom to keep Wilbert Awdrys legacy alive.
Mattel actually does do something similar like this, with other brands like Hot Wheels. Mattel understands that they have older fans for brands like Hot Wheels and Barbie, but not really Thomas, but this could change soon.
Right now I still have a very strong vendetta against Mattel for their horrid mistreatment of Thomas since late 2017. And yes, I have seen some of the new merchandise they have planned for 2025. Besides the Day Out With Thomas model (which I still think is going to be the only new item they'll release for the Thomas Wooden Railway line in 2025), I have seen some new MINIS models. One of them is an 80th anniversary Golden Thomas with an illustration of Thomas' Railway Series counterpart, and the other is a Diesel 10 who looks more like his Model Series counterpart, likely to tie in with the 25th anniversary of Thomas and the Magic Railroad. While these MINIS are a step in the right direction, Mattel still has a VERY long way to go if they ever want to win back the crowd. In terms of television, they should give Thomas a new series that's more like the Brenner era, with CGi animation and well-written stories that appeal to entire audiences and not just little children. In terms of merchandise, they should give the Thomas Wooden Railway line more than just a new Day Out With Thomas model. I know for sure that characters like Duck, Donald, Douglas, Oliver, Toad, and Daisy all deserve new models in that line, because they're who the fans want and who will sell well, and they're exactly who I'd release for that line if I were in charge of it.
Did you know some stuff for the 80th anniversary of Thomas and Friends has leaked I am not going to spoil it for you but I already know this will be a great year for Thomas let's go 2025
I honestly don’t see Matel doing this. It would be better in the long run to actually drop AEG and just return the series to what it used to be. A program about talking trains where it didn’t talk down to kids.
Mattel will finally bring back brenner era after all engine go getting cancelled and brjng back old videos back into youtube and put ended from disaster that downfall started from bwba 2018
What about the movie? Is that still production or is that being delayed to 2026 or 2027? I’m worried about this because sonic 4 releases in 2027, and if the Thomas is going up against Sonic, it’s not good for Thomas!
My predictions 1. No canceling AEG 2. No new show 3. Crappy special with thomas becoming gold for a little bit 4. No pilot ep 5. After this everything returns to normal
I want the old Thomas.A friend's back.Because I really missed them all.I do is just sit around my chair and use school I was happy. I do missed them secretly
I was surprised at the reboot after Series 24 completed. At first I was a bit excited because it was a new animation, until I was reading comments about how many hated it. Slowly, I began to hate it. Even still, I watched the episodes to see how All Engines GO would go. Season 1 part 1 was ok. Part 2 of season 1 had better episodes. The whole Season 2 was good and ok. The songs were getting better than the previous season. Season 3 was good as well. It's great to see returning characters. The three movies and the 30 minute special were good. My top favorite was the Christmas Letter Express. Race for the Sodor Cup in 2nd place, The Great Bubbly Build 3rd place, and Mystery of Lookout Mountain, 4th place. I was happy to see Gordon and James get an episode role in the show. If only we can get half little engine episodes, and half big engine episodes. It would be nice to see someone else get an episode role instead of the biggest adventure club all the time. Do I think there should be a Season 5? I say yes and here's why. It should be for young audience like the video said. They could learn lessons watching some of these stories. Will we like it? Probably no, but the show is made for kids mostly. We have Series 1-24 to enjoy. I can care less about All Engines GO. I think its a good show for younger people and maybe families too. Nobody has to agree with me on this. Please don't hate me for saying this. I am just sharing my opinion. I'm sure one of these days, a bright light will shine on our number one blue friend and give us a new chance to enjoy a run to remember.
I dont think you should support aeg just for bringing back duck or the scottish twins, they are just being added to nostalgia bait people who like those characters
If there is a season 5, I hope they don’t bring back the narrow gauge or miniature engines because Mattel would probably throw them under the category of children cause of their size.
I don't really hate All Engines what rubs me the wrong way is that they canceled something for every Thomas fan and only catered it to a small portion of them as a kid show it's passable the kitties sit down they have a good time they all laughs happy the hearing this news I'm totally down for it, the biggest biggest biggest request I have for the show.... Scratch that make it two is that one Andrew Brenner returns to the riding chair along with all his buddies who love Thomas as much as we do, two and this is the biggest and probably the most lofty total creative freedom meaning Andrew can finally write Edward, Toby, and Henry as they were supposed to be (don't worry about the expressive bodies they will go the way of the dodo with Brenner back in the chair) 🙂🚂 EDIT: misspelled all engines and some grammar fixed 🙂🚂
I was gravely annoyed by All Engines Go, so if they pull the plug on it and make something new that's actually faithful to the original source material, that would be great! Well. Dovetale announced that they're collabing with Mattel to bring Thomas to TSW 5 in 2025, and the Thomas is based on the CGI series

I want the Original Thomas and friends with old models like Stop Motions back before CGI.
The model era can't come back which was why Thomas switched to CGI.
