The sheer amount of confusion I had when I went into my early access copy and all my recipes were gone. This video definitely helped explain where everything went
After playing in the old updates, starting a new tavern and having ONLY lager to start with for an entire season felt very silly to me, me, my first save I had about six different varieties and now I am a fancy lager factory XD which I dont even like that much in real life honestly.... Now I know I'm doing a farming simulator for at least 2 more days, because wow do you need a lot of eeeeeeverything in this update!!
Best part, we no longer have run out Beverage that fast since the dev recently fix a bug cause the customers order drinks constantly than foods on a New save.
Quick question (maybe not quick? Idk): with hops and the fact beer usually has options between different hops, does it actually matter which hop you use? The tooltip for (iirc) bitter hops states it balances the sweetness of barley, but does pairing certain hops with certain grains actually do anything? Or should we just focus on highest price for now?
Thank you so much for such a detailed video with these new features in the game! Without you, I probably wouldn’t have soon realized what I was doing wrong. I looked for information on both the wiki and Steam in guides, but there was no new information there.
if it helps Im 57 hrs in going blind at the start and yeah pretty much true. but i went in before the update. watermelon is your friend grow as much as you can. 7/29/24 just in case they patch it
Yes!!, and then pineapple into fall/winter. They've patched so many things already that were true on day one of this patch, like buying the large barrel stack recipe and aging barrels at level 1 (now 5 and 10).
Ugh, THANK YOU! I skipped a few updates to let this game age a little, and now I'm in on the city update and everything has changed. I feel lost. Can you do cooking and animals videos like this, please? I don't know how to add flavoring or extras to food yet and I am scared to invest in animals at level 7 because I don't want it to be a super money sink I cannot keep up with because I don't understand what all these mechanics are yet.
Both are in my list to do. "Extras" no longer exist. That threw me off when I started playing this update. It's whether or not you want to upgrade a base item. Like a steak. You need meat. You can make chicken steak, or for more profit, beef steak. Etc. But you no longer just add items.
Oh... interesting. Yeah, anything you have to help the how to videos, the better. I am also playing when I can, so I'll catch up eventually. Also started watching your playthrough to try and pick up stuff as you experience it. It's sad the wiki is so behind and it is tough when it doesn't have a reddit or clear social media presence. Feels like they are funneling everyone to the discord.
if it helps, Kynseed is fully released and still receiving updates. This one is still in early access. Kynseed is also more of an adventure game than a sim game. hopefully that helps you make a decision.
I was wondering why I couldn't add extra ingredients for flavored drinks. I wasn't sure if I needed to unlock the ability to now or if it was no longer a feature.
there have been a lot of bugs in this update. SO far there have been several patches since release to fix them. I had a comment on another video of someone else having issues with that as well.
It is a small hit box I find. It works now thankfully, at least for me. It's finicky but aim for the base after stacking 2 barrels at least on the small one. Hope it's better now!
Buying yeast for everything is really annoying. I really hope in a update, the Devs make a machine that allows to make different types.
Really appreciating your guides! Just started playing this game yesterday.
Yes. I was maxed out on my levels. And then the update happened and I was lost. Thank you for the info!

Very helpful guides. Thanks so much!
Thanks so much. I will be referring to these tips over and over, I am sure!
All the options are so overwhelming wow!! Love this game so far but much to learn for myself.
Yess! Timing is perfect for my playthrough

Purchase from the ranch
I love stardew Valley and I also have graveyard keeper
Which game you do recommend I get next... This one or Kynseed?
All replies are welcome!

I can not get my barrels to stack on top of the barrel holder and I feel dumb 😂

@@MakeWayForCat I'm still having that issue

I cry when I have to brew now, so I guess all the patrons are getting salty ales. :')
