    I got this today, since my wife wouldn‘t let me place another „proper“ amp in the house. 😂
    I came back from purchasing it in a mood like: Well, so that‘s what was possible. What can I expect from a box like that? And boy, was I wrong. This is by far the most versatile and easy to use piece of gear, I ever got.
    I own a JCM800 from the 90‘s and a DSL1 which my wife let me put in the Space, so no shame on her.
    This little box is big in Sound, when it comes to home use. I recommend it. REALLY!

    I totally agree with you. I picked up mine used just a few weeks ago, and I have to say, it's one of the best pieces of gear I've acquired in all of my years of playing guitar. The simplicity and sound quality are two features that make these amps so great. It's so easy to dial in a sound that allows you to express what you want to. I haven't even dipped into the recording features yet. The ability to plug into a computer directly into a DAW interface is amazing. The phone app that allows you to fine tune your sound is also amazing. This Yamaha does not disappoint!

    I was happy with my Blackstar ID10, my son took it over when he started playing more guitar. I bought this as a replacement and was blown away. It's been my main player for almost a year now. I wish ALL variable were controlled without using the app but Blackstar does this too. You can't even access their EQ without the app

    I'm still using the thr10x, if you want to really hear it please hook it up to the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 thx system it sounds just incredible. Every time someone comes to the house they are blow away by how it sounds. I had hooked it up to a bunch of other speakers and amp but, nothing sounds as good as with it hooked to the 2.1 system. I also use Overloud THU though it and it may sound even better but, still love the THR!

    Thank you for your video, it's clear and accurate. I have the THR5 and a Boss Katana 50 Mk1, I like them both. I was considering an upgrade to the THR30ii because I love the idea of having all the amp types onboard. I'm not much of an app guy - I just want to set it and forget it, spend more time playing than I do messing around with devices to change sounds. I could see myself having the THR as an only amp, they're really great for home use.

    • @divineproductreviews3481
      @divineproductreviews3481  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The THR30ii has all the amps onboard which rocks, but you will still have to use the app just like the 20ii as it lacks other parameters (such as compressor settings, Delay EQ, cut timer, Reverb EQ, etc). There is no fully avoiding the app, but it does make it a bit less annoying as you can store unlimited presets (on both models). My gripe is the app is bad, the desktop version crashes often and the mobile gets laggy. Also dialing in tones is a bit difficult, especially for players who don't enjoy tone-tweaking; it's difficult enough that I have to rely on tone-patches from other users mostly. It's still a great amp, but since my video am looking at other options out.

    • @astewart9410
      @astewart9410 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@divineproductreviews3481 I understand looking around, but I keep coming back to the Yamahas. Based on my usage of my THR5, I think it would take me a long time before I had to get into the app to adjust anything on the THR30ii. Not saying I wouldn't/won't do it, but with that much on board I think there's a lot on offer up front. I have the app for the THR5 and haven't noticed any crashes or lagging on my iMac but I also don't use the app often. I saw a lot of people saying they'd prefer the Positive Grid Spark, but that is so very app-reliant, and that's the wrong direction for me, no matter how good it is. Like I said in my first comment, I like to set it and forget it, not really into messing with apps at all. Also, UPDATE: I've ordered the THR30ii, should come soon. I'm getting the wireless gadget to go with it, too. No more cable. Cool. Maybe I'm easier to please, after all this, but I'm quite excited about the 30ii arriving here soon!

    • @divineproductreviews3481
      @divineproductreviews3481  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@astewart9410 Nice! It's an impressive amp, and since you already have a THR5, you already know it's strengths and limits. The Spark can also be controlled onboard, but need the app to deep dive, just like the THR, except the THR app is less busy. I definitely preferred the THR after having both for some time with extensive testing. It's hard to truly go wrong with any of these choices though, they all have great sound and it's just a matter of preference! :)

    • @astewart9410
      @astewart9410 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@divineproductreviews3481 Yeah I'm really thinking/hoping the 30ii is the one for me. It may be my only amp ( :) ). A go-to, anyway. The Spark is cool, but I went with what I know.
      I've found with the THR5 that I've got the Master and the Volume both never dropping below 8, and that's decent room-level loud, so the bigger cabinet and speakers will help too. Since I don't gig, a tube/valve amp with an array of pedals just sounds like an expensive hobby to me, so hopefully this will be me all sorted. I know it'll sound great, so that's a key already! Now comes the impatient wait for it to arrive. Cheers!

    great review- i've got the same one as you - the wireless/rechargeable one was getting too close to £400. I'm happy with it's 'limitations' because it sounds so good.Just a shame they don't have a univibe in the fx and it would be perfect!

    • @divineproductreviews3481
      @divineproductreviews3481  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! Yep, the wireless one has built-in batteries that will degrade over time, the external batteries the original THR had is more efficient for long term use. True! Univibe would be stellar. The Nux Mighty Air and Plug have a very good Univibe.

      @@divineproductreviews3481 Well, I do have the THR 30 since its release over a year ago and I’m using it mostly on battery because I carry it around. No noticeable degradation so far and great battery life. The outputs give you the option to hook it up with a PA. I’m using it with my band when I’m lazy to set up the full gear and it sounds fantastic. If you don’t need that the THR II 10 is the best option for sure and decently priced. Good video, thanks.

      I bought two Spark amps and used those for 3 months. The first didn't have the grounded power supply. PG never sent one or followed up on emails. It was enough to get me playing again.
      I decided to give the THR 10 II a try. I was so pleased with the sound quality and especially the ease of use.

Just only from the loudspeakers I liked the space and stereo. I have no opportunity to try it because of the pandemia. That ' s why I ask you. Just the head output I want to use to record and connect L R with some extern strong amps. Thank you.
