I had to stop watching the video several times so I may not get this right. I heard the rain-wow! I saw the "murder scene" paper immediately. Love this paper! Definitely a labor of love
Thanks Carol. With the price of blueberries and growing scarcity of affordable piano paper, I may never do this recipe again. My purple cabbage paper is a nice substitute tho. Hugs, H
wonderful colors! I am curious how you get it so flat? When I use piano roll it always rolls away on me once I cut it lol... please tell us the secret!
Hi Caroline, I'm not sure at what point you're talking about. I don't cut my paper until it's dyed and dried. I roll out two long sections on my kitchen island. I wipe the island with a damp rag & that helps the first layer 'stick' somewhat. As soon as the paper is wet, it flattens out & stays put. Sometimes I press it down with my hands (gloves) to make better contact. Adding the layers of stencils, lace, plastic tablecloth also weighs it down. I just keep layering until I run out of dye or doilies whichever comes first. If that's not what you were asking, ask again. Hope this helps tho you have a smaller area to work in. Good luck.
Good afternoon Hazel. How interesting there is such variation of color. Just curious if you shake it really good first or just thaw and poor into sprayer? Love all the shades!
Hi Teresa, unfortunately I don't remember what steps I took. What I do know is that I should have strained in through a coffee filter or something equally fine to get more of the pulp out that proceeded to block & ruin my spray bottles. Sheesh. H

The colors from the blueberries are gorgeous!
