bill if you wanted to get some header rap and wrap that pipe. use to only have one color but now they have every color going . cover up the rusty pipe as well as cool enough to touch. they are easy to install just wet it and wrap it with a 1/2 of wrap overlay. at the top and bottom install a stainless steel zip tie that comes with the wrap. DEI has a bunch of different colors and with and leighs they also have sheets of aluminum for a heat barrier looking good
Lost my temp and fuel gauge , placed a temp like yours today, I checked with a test light and no power going to gauges , going to get a pro to look at it, i only got 2 fuses on my IH 674 but they say its only for lights.
@@finncampeau4922 the kubota sz, zg ,zd doesnt have auto choke on there gas and diesel mowers its a electric choke wich if wears out there accully cheap parts plus they have 3 to 5 year warranty on them
I didnt get a followup on the old temperature sensor. Only got to se when you put it in and left it there. Got no result. If you did i missed it. I think the old style of gauge fit a little bit better with the tractor theme. Maybe you can get one from a tractor scrapyard? Nice to have a gauge with lights also.
Don’t flex that capillary tube too much at the sender end or gauge end or it’ll break and you’ll lose all the gas out and the gauge will be trash. You better give the line more slack than that at the engine side or your sharp angle will bugger the line up with vibration. Mine broke at the engine side due to knocking it with a ratchet to read and clean spark plugs in my Chevy 350. So I went electric this time. My oil and vacuum gauges are mechanical.

They make a gauge that uses a piece of electrical wire like 12g that you cut to the proper length. instead of that long one For future reference
adam your right but A Mechanical gauge is so much more accurate.
All the hydrostatic mowers like that, that I have been around seem to really moan like that when it’s cold out
the kubotas starts up nicer in cold and there not auto choke in them wich the kubotas makes there less problems wich is nice

Must be nice to have money to waste. Use wire snips/side cutters.
what do you mean?
@@billstmaxx So you don't bust so many wire zips.
think they were cold..
@ Thefour Horsemen...zip ties are what? 10cents a piece. Get over it man
