    I love his line about the devil not being some little monster with red horns and a pointy tail. He is so much more than that... He is powerful. Thankfully, our LORD is all-powerful!! ❤

    Just watched it yesterday. Oh , it was even better than I expected! ❤ I would probably sell my soul to Neal McDonough though 😅 just kidding. But well done. Great story. Great cast. Interesting twist which I was not prepared for. And yes, message I got. Our life’s are nothing if it’s not for others… Sometimes it’s Sacrifice. It’s hard. And thats what Jesus did for us. 🙏🏼

    Really, you are a God fearing person, most of the characters that I have watched you play are the underhanded bad guy. The type of characters that brings the personality scale into emotional feelings, good or bad, this is what makes you a better than good actor.

      Off Topic (not that I ever let a little thing like that stop me)
      I'm on their mailing list. I replied "Angel Studios is single handedly destroying the (well deserved) idea that Christian moves are BAD."
      Thing is you don't Need Hollywood to make a movie you want, just as you don't Need a big network to get news out.
      That little silicon chip is changing EVERYTHING.

    im a perfectionist when it comes to art, but man I seriously cannot wait for this movie; I hope more movies incorporate Christianity into their stories, I makes them so much more interesting and really gives you something to learn and put into practice.

  • @helelbenshachar8671
    @helelbenshachar8671 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I think he's a great actor. Here's the thing though: Lucifer is not the devil, or Satan, or a fallen angel or a demon. Lucifer is Helel Ben Shachar, The Morning Star, and nowhere in your Bible does it make mention of him being satan. In fact, look in Revelations 22: to quote Jesus: "I am the root and the offspring of David, and the Bright and Morning Star (translated from Helel Ben Shachar), which is translated as Lucifer in Isaiah 16...the only place the name Lucifer is used in any Bible...which people use to liken Lucifer unto satan, when Isaiah is really just writing about a king of Babylon who THOUGHT he was the Messiah.

    • @helelbenshachar8671
      @helelbenshachar8671 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In fact, instead of, "Oh how thou hast fallen, Lucifer, Son of the Morning," a more accurate translation would be, "You THOUGHT you were the Morning Star..." which is how it IS translated in the New American Readers Version.

    😂 Sorry for detecting hubris in Neil's comment about giving his whole being to God. Maybe saying, '...who TRIES to give his whole being to God.' Because... irony.

    • @Pbadome1
      @Pbadome1 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes, sounds strange, however, he is an actor and does what the role requires, his Christian values stop at doing anything with another woman, he's been married for 20 years. So, I'm pretty sure it's not the kissing onscreen, but a promise that he made to himself to be faithful to his marriage, acting does have limits.

      @@Pbadome1 Iived a d worked in Hollywood. What I meant was if you don't want to be an actor and carry the full freight quit and let someone else have the gig.. I think Caviezel is mentally ill judging by his qanon connections but right from Band of Brothers on Neal.always impressed me. I'm Catholic like he. I just hope he doesn't spend the rest of his career in this low budget and obviously Christian junk. I go to Mass for my faith. I go to the movies not to watch Caviezel cry for two hours. I think this crowd funding is a scam. Technically I saw Sound of Freedom ten times when I was sitting in the theatre next door watching Barbie

    Neal is a very good actor and was amazing in his part but The Shift became labored, tedious and needlessly complex. It borrowed sci fi multi dimensional elements from the Matrix too much. The Job plot and mortal existence needed to exercise agency theme could have been more to the point and relatable without all the endless dystopian settings.
