Would this Axopar boat be as good on the lake as it is being a chase boat for a super yacht on the sea? I'm a novice so I have no idea how well a boat performs on the sea vs other bodies of water.

If you do reach the 10K likes, you must do a complete walk through of the Axopar vessel. There are only a couple of in-depth videos on TH-cam but not on the newest 37’. Also, Aquabanos has some really cool toys on their website. I’m sure I’ll be investing in one of them real soon.
I bet it's a great boat but I am not a fan of the bow and overall looks. I am more of a Buddy Davis looking boat as a chase boat. I did give it a like though and I like this channel.
I have never, ever seen a youtube channel patronise just one boat manufacturer like this. 2 things; 1, You must be on commission. 2, You must be so besotted with your 37, you are blinkered to other boats What other boats did you test as well as the Axopar you eventually bought?. Either way, can we see more of the WHOLE show please. 'Cos believe it or not, there are people watching that DON'T want an Axopar boat.

Splinter camouflage is classic naval tradition going back to WWI. Good call. I love the continuous improvement, I hope Axopar can move to inboard engines as an option because they are much more efficient than outboards.

Dear Tristan, I have always wondered why you like the outboards so much. My instinct for a chase boat would always be to go for a inboard as it keeps the transom free for bathing, diving, toys etc. Maybe you could comment on this (if you haven´t already and I missed it). Cheers
Maintenance and reliability. Inboards are a nightmare to maintain and if they break, the boat has to go away or a contractor has to be brought in at great expense. With an outboard, if it breaks, replace it. AWOL's business model depends on having a chase boat, so it's better to have one that lacks certain capabilities and has very high availability than it is to have a "perfect" chase boat that is constantly in and out of the shop.
@@JohnnyWishbone85 although it is nasty economics versus nifty design, that actually makes sense. Thank you. Hate that it may come down to hard cash once again though. ;)
