- Come hang out in the galley for an entire day! Start to finish, a real picture of what happens onboard on a average day of charter onboard @motoryachtloon
If you'd like to see more day-to-day life onboard, follow myself on instagram @thecrewchef, and Sean the sous chef @sean_connolly02
Thanks to Steve for the drone footage! @tenchvisuals on instagram.
Most people couldn’t walk a day in your shoes, let alone be a Michelin quality chef while doing it, you’re just an amazing individual.
Michelin where?
Maybe not michelin quality food every day. But she makes what she can with one line cook every day. I´d say she´s a damn good chef.
You don´t seem to know of all the prep-work needed to be done.
And the owner´s might make early changes in the food´s needed to be served so she´s just trying to make the best out of it.
I´d say she´s a pretty damn good chef, considering she has to do all the prepping and thinking ahead.
Not even close. Some, “chefs” accept roles for shitty pay.
I wAnT a yAcTh oNe DaY. cHeF hOpEs tO bE sMiLeD uPoN. Which flag does this ship fly under? Since you’re pretty; I’m pretty sure you’ll get fucked. People don’t get obscene weath by giving it away.
yeah its amazing but you'll need to be amazing otherwise you'll be replaced in a mather of seconds
You are amazing! The fact that a guest can ask for anything and you can make it... Just wonderful
Well, if you're willing to pay ~$5000 for a lunch, anything is possible
I am just imagining what a wonderful dining experience those guests had! Fantastic!
Would have had if they showed up...
@@Nerd3927 maybe the crew ate it :O
And two didn't even show up, sadly, after all that work.
As a retired chef just love your attitude, enthusiasm and your determination to deliver 100% charter guest delite. Had my introduction to foodservice back in 1978 as a junior in high school here in the US, more precisely Indiana working for local chain restaurant that is no longer in business sadly. From there moved to Florida and really became inmmersed into the fine choice of working for and under great professional chefs which in turn motivated my desire to make being a cook and then a chef my career of choice. Keep your desire , drive and attention to detail as the hallmarks of your career Nina. May calm sea's and following winds sail with you and Loon in the future.
Guests are paying something like $1M/week to charter Loon, so I suspect that there is considerable pressure to keep them happy. And she seems to so it without any stress. Cool.
Should consider going into politics! It’s never too late!
I totally agree. It is her personality. She is not doing for the pay, or work only. To add to it, I find her super talented and brilliant Mashaallah
Great to see the Loon crew is still alive and someone is still making videos after we all got so invested in the channel and the personallties of the crew 🎉
Yeah!.........WTF is happening?
Loon has their own social media guy that upload videos of trips so maybe check their videos along with Nina's. Also she works on the yacht for l think 2 months and is then off for 2 months. The other head chef then takes over. Then each could get a proper break.
The guy that usually makes the loon content is taking a break but there should be content coming soon I have heard there is someone going to be helping out
@@chriswood167i had read that Blair left the crew but not sure about this since they haven't addressed anything on the lack of weekly sunday posts
@@SC4RFAC327he's likely on rotation
This is exactly what I would want from watching Below Deck.
Just the pretty stuff, the food and no drama.
Great video
As one of those chefs, that serves people in a small Central European city I really, really knee down. That is cooking on a extraordinary interesting level.
Keep on posting, you are a pride for our craft!
Thank you.
One of the most difficult things I have ever done is cook for a party of 20 on a sailboat! Solid video!! Keep up the good work!!
You are a gorgeously happy soul, Nina. And I know you know that. You just make me happy. Keep smiling and keep shining. 👍❤
Congrats to 200k Subscriber!!!!👍🍾 Well deserved.
Nina, I love watching your videos. 14-hours is a long work day! Seeing you do the slap and folds on the bread reminds me of my bread making. lol. Thanks from the snowy north.
Sometimes being a crew chef - I did so on a charter ship out of Olso - is a thankless job but in the end I wouldn't change a thing! You're a true hero on the sea!
Your videos are always so upbeat and positive. They and you are a joy!
Thank-you for taking the time for share with us what your day is like. It's busy, your busy. It seems like a lot of fun and of course alot of work ✨
I can´t imagine how exhausting it must be to work on a yacht as a chef.

I don’t know why but watching that thorough clean up deeply satisfied my OCD.
Your days are so long...and you are on. your feet nearly the whole time. I don't know how you do it! Thanks for letting us peek at your world.
it says 14 hours but the video is only 16 mins... i feel betrayed
Their Tender is nicer than anything I will ever own lol... Very hard workers on board, Amazing job!
What an inventive way to show the many different tasks that make up a day with guests. Very well done.
This video brought me so much joy. I’m so happy I stumbled upon this channel. Few things haven’t been putting to much of a smile on my face lately but your vibe and the crews chemistry pierces through my screen. Loved every minute of this.
A Super Most Excellent episode... Gosh... thank you. I enjoy this channel and your cooking skills so much.
Nina you are very professional chef and the fact that parallel to your work you have to make also tne YT content make it unreal.
You are very lucky both that you have eachother.
So Wise , Thank You . Breaks are good , Power naps Rule. Happy Crew and Happy Guest's Priceless
This is so much more enjoyable than Below Deck.
Nice to see how everything goes without the teenage drama and drunking people hooking up.
YOUR VIDEOS ARE THE BEST. If I ever can afford It, I would charter and make sure YOU and your team are the crew !

holy cow, the owners of that yacht live in another world than everyone else.
First off, great video, love seeing all the delicious food. My hat is off to the deck crew for how clean/shinny the glass was behind you when filming on deck. Thank you for sharing.
I love watching a person that loves her job. She makes it look easy.

Forget the doughnuts. Just give me some of that wonderful bread with lashings of butter and raspberry jam... And maybe some with vegenite!
Another informative, relaxing, lifestyle video that was such an enjoyment to watch. Loved every minute of it Nina 😀 Thank you.

Yes chef, looking good!
Great content, great personality and can laugh at yourself….Your chief Stewardess is a rockstar to
I like how you did the breakfast for the guests.
Great video! Many thanks 😊
My first job was a dishwasher at a hotel, was quickly "promoted" to a prep cook and that in itself is a time managment headache. A tray of gardens for burgers (lettuce.tomato.onion) and a tray of bakes for the buffett line, 86'd the blue cheese (no one told me salad area was low) and just putting out other fires as needed. Got thrown on the line to cover breaks. Only ever "ruined" one steak. Someone ordered a Filet Migon Well done. Except I was never taught to butterfly it. It was a local magazine reviewer. I went against protocol and went out to the guest and introduced myself (you did WHAT?) and explained my rookie status and "saved" the review. The piece of charcoal was never mentioned and he later reviewed my BBRibs (no smoker, just convection Oven) and we place third in city behind Montgomery Inn Ribs and Burbank's BBQ. I didn't know what a rub was, I just "winged it" and used up old bottles of Mustard to slather on the ribs (I hate Mustard BTW). SO I enjoy the BTS of a working Kitchen and the flow of things.
Chef Nina you always amaze! There is always something cooking in Nina's and Sean's Galley! Cheers love!
Blooming lucky guests! Love ya❤
Whoot! Whoot! 200k subscribers! Congratulations! 🥳🎉 🎆 I enjoyed the video (and got some laundry done at the same time). It's nice to know about the little differences between a full charter and a group of five. Thank you!
Loving this soooo much, such a sweet crew and real raw footage!
Hotel pan loafs! Beautiful, just beautiful. Thanks for inspiring me humble home kitchen.
Very much enjoyed that!!! Thank you!!!
Aloha Nina!!! Great to see the Loon Crew doing their THING! You are such a wonderful and brilliant chef, sharing her passion in cooking,,,, ONE Beautiful Soul! Wishing the Loon Crew the best and hope All are doing well! Aloha for now,,,,
Wow! That was one of my favorite videos from you.
Thank you, Chef. Great video.

Time management! I love it!
The Yacht and Video give Succession-Vibes 😀 Keep up the great work!
just lovely these insight, keep them coming please
Great video. It was strangely relaxing and energizing at the same time 😌
You have serious chef talent! Everything you put out looked scrumptious, and here I am waiting for my dinner to be ready and this video is making me 10x more hungry!
I just love these videos.
I always look forward to your vids.
HELLO Nina, your job is very hard work, thanks for sharing your life day as a yatch Chef .
Navigate safe ⚓️☕️
Nina! Great video, excellent food (it would appear) and cute hair cut!!! We never get to see when you "let your hair down"! Go easy on Sean, he is just boy.
And there is a very good reason he can pronouce Joost van Dyke perfectly.... What a day and that was a simple one from what we saw. No desserts!
More Yacht Secrets please!!! LOL.... OH and careful with the donuts...So the crew will want them everyday!!
Awesome vid - thanks Chef!
Love your videos!!
That food looked so amazing. And anyone who tends to a sourdough starter is tops in my book! There’s something almost magical about fresh bread made completely from scratch. It has a unique way of saturating and satisfying ALL the senses.
Thank you for sharing your work and passion. If I had to do my life over, I would go fully for a career as a chef. A nephew of mine is a head-chef on one of the world's largest - Emirati sheikh owned - super yachts; 150 meters+. What a great and adventurous life!
Loving these video's! Please upload more often
You're a BOSS Nina! Love your spirit!
Big day, wow...great to see other crew involved.
What a nice dynamic video. And it's the last one we see Shawny in & he's great in it!
I would probably watch you cook anything, just explaining what you do to make food taste nice or plate it up in a fancy way. But I'm not sure how much the peeps out there would like it (as opposed to more yacht related stuff).
Watching from a tug boat in Alaska, love the videos, keep it up😊
Good Job !!!!! Please keep posting !!!!!
FANTASTIC VIDEO, from Spain
Looks amazing!
While I will never be able to afford a trip like this, I love the videos and the crew. Keep up the great work!
Food looks amazing as always.
It's so nice having your videos back to a regular basis. Thank you for sharing!
I have been salivating the entire video. Between Sean and yourself a real joy to watch kudos to both of you😎🇿🇦
Seems like a lot of work, but you guys knock it outta the park! Food always looks delicious 😋
Nice Job all of the food looks so good
Coming from Below Deck, it's nice to see a chef in their element. Omg another chef devoted to crew meal, WHAT A CONCEPT! haha And head chef making SOUR DOUGH? Exceptional! 🙌
What a great video
