Is it just me or when they played the game or watched someone else play it felt kinda cheap and incomplete. Spoiler alert but the ending that we hit where Rachel Amber got hurt with a knife and we had to tell or her about her mom or not, is not a good storyline. Because in the end it doesn’t even matter because no matter what you choose she was still going to die by mark and Nathan by an accidental drug overdose. I feel like they should have explored Rachel’s story more and how she and if she really did hook up with frank and how she got to the back room. Like ya we know bits and pieces because of Chloe and max but we don’t know if it was true or not. So I would have loved to see the makers of this game use that instead of the before the storm game that we got. It was still a good game but as I said the choices and storylines felt incomplete because of the original game life is strange.
Agree. Rachel and Frank's relationship was one of the most intriguing parts of Rachel's story from the first game, and is the main thing I wanted to see in this DLC, other than Rachel and Chloe of course. I feel like maybe the developers didn't want to go there since Rachel was underage at the time and Frank is like mid twenties or something, but then they shouldn't have included it in the first game then.
I think its bc they wanted to keep us hyped on rachel? If we really knew the whole truth about rachel, what happened to the poor girl and who really killed her and how she came in contact with frank alot of the mystery surrounding her would dissapear. The current rachel amber is still a mystery, but a cool one.

Mr Jefferson was able to get away with it mainly cause he was so ‘charming’ and ‘cunning’ No one would ever suspect the teacher. He did it to so many young women in arcadia as-well, ever since i’ve played life is strange I’ve never understood how he wasn’t caught sooner! He left a trail of death behind him and they all went to blackwell academy and all the young women were likely in Jefferson’s class. He kidnapped and killed them after taking pictures because he was obsessed with capturing “The moment innocence turns into corruption” Since all his victims are young students they were innocent prior to him kidnapping them, while his victims are in his hands he corrupts them and captures the moment in pictures.

This game hit so fucking hard, as soon as the ending started and I saw Chloe and Rachael I was starting to get choked up cause I remembered how Rachel fucking dies, this game fucking hits, and it makes the original first game all the more heartbreaking, knowing how everything goes in this one. I love this series but holy fuck this game pulls on my heart strings
If you think about it this game took place in the early 2010s and the police could have tracked her phone albeit making the game less interesting but still.
If the phone was still around the police could have track her location. And also if Chloe did file a missing person earlier while Rachel phone wasn't completely destroyed yet, Rachel could have been found.

i’m sorry, but I simply just don’t like Rachel at all. I could not like this game because of this. I mean, what's the point of all of what we have done ? One is 100% dead and the other should die to get the "good" ending. What's the point of playing life is strange ? They all die in terrible ways no matter what you do, it's just sad and useless. So yeah, it's a shocking enging, bravo, very emotional stuff, but that killed the franchise for me, I have avoided the new entries because of this personally. What's the Fcking point.

The only thing is, if you chose this ending, Chloe dies without knowing the truth. In fact, this all makes sense if you choose to sacrifice arcadia bay but everyone dies.

If you look at the date that appears on Rachael's phone it appears that it is April 22, 2013 so there was a transition of 3 years after the end of Before the storm. So if it is possible that it was Mr. Jefferson who took the photographs and not Nathan. + I have this theory (which may not be correct) What if the person being photographed is actually Max? Implying that Mr. Jefferson hadn't actually shot Chloe with a real bullet (since the shot mark is pretty thin and small to have been with a real gun) what if it's actually Chloe who's calling Mr. Jefferson? Max?
Max wasn't in the dark room until the day of the storm (October 11th 2013) Rachel was in the dark room the day she went missing (if i remember correctly)

If you look at the date that appears on Rachael's phone it appears that it is April 22, 2013 so there was a transition of 3 years after the end of Before the storm. So if it is possible that it was Mr. Jefferson who took the photographs and not Nathan.

I have this theory (which may not be correct) What if the person being photographed is actually Max? Implying that Mr. Jefferson hadn't actually shot Chloe with a real bullet (since the shot mark is pretty thin and small to have been with a real gun) what if it's actually Chloe who's calling Mr. Jefferson? Max?
Max wasn't in the dark room until the day of the storm (October 11th 2013) Rachel was in the dark room the day she went missing (if i remember correctly)
